I may go on FA everyday and upload my art whenever I get the chance, but I don't think changing it is necessary. My artwork has "Ruby-Orca-616" written all over it, if you wanted to know me by any other website name there it is. xD

For those of you who don't know because you follow me ONLY on here, my account name for literally EVERY other website is Ruby-Orca-616. My FA account name is this one because at the time of making it this was the name I always used for everything, but now it is not the case.

Short backstory time! This old username Rubykyogre616 used to be the name of my DA account and tumblr until I switched.

I'm 18 now

I have a few things coming up that I think is important:

THIS FRIDAY I am going on a vacation to San Francisco! The trip will last for 10 days so it is very unlikely that I will have time to check my messages here, but I will try when I'm at my hotel room and just relaxing. I will be back on June 9th.

If I haven't said so already, I'm getting a fursuit partial really soon of Ruby! She is being made by Crush Costume Creations, a few makers who are fairly new to the business, but still have good suits. I'm really hoping Ruby comes out well, I'm excited! She is expected to be here before June 27 or so, hopefully.

Speaking of that date, I am going to Supercon on June 27th and the 28th! On Saturday I'll be Jane Crocker, and on Sunday I'll be Ruby if she comes by then, and if not then I'll be Terezi Pyrope, so if you're attending and want to find me, that's what I'll be wearing.

And the more important news, after the trip I will open up for commissions! So keep a look out!

Thinking of commissioning someone to make a badge or something I can frame because I'm honestly a little tired of drawing things for myself when it comes to that stuff.

SO, my final days of being a high school student are coming to a close, and for my graduation present my mom said that if a relative gives me enough money as a gift, I could get my own fursuit partial! So exciting!

Something I've seen a few times that I'd like to address:

If you're an artist and draw/are commissioned to draw porn and fetishes, FINE. But just know that when you allow rape and pedophilia into it, then it's a problem.

Rape is terrible and horrifying, there's no other way around it. If you find someone getting assaulted and FORCED to expose themselves as vulnerable to an attacking stranger, then you have a problem and it isn't a "fetish". Pedophilia also falls into this category because sexualizing a minor isn't just disgusting, it's ILLEGAL.

Let me reiterate: if you like to draw porn, FINE. DO WHATEVER YOU WANT, I DON'T CARE. But I think artists should stop treating these topics as a simple fetish because if a victim of one of these sees you do this they may never want a commission from you and will judge your character.
