'Kindred' is a Historical Fiction / Adventure / Romance set in the Red Lantern world, roughly 4-5 years before the events of Red Lantern, the graphic novel. It tells the story of Finnegan and Tulimak, two strangers from opposite ends of the world brought together by circumstance, and their journey across the Carvecian frontier. Kindred's focus is on the idea of what constitutes a 'family', versus 'lineage'. Kindred will contain, as most of my stories tend to, adult themes, including - violence, sexual situations, furry-world equivalents of colonial exploitation and specism, homophobia and familial abuse (obviously, things our protagonists will be combating, not reinforcing). If any of this is subject material you feel you aren't up to, it might not be for you.

Kindred is a historical fiction / adventure /romance set in the world of Red Lantern.

It's literally good for everyone, regardless what tier you pledge, or if you subscribe later via regular means. But if you subscribe via the Kickstarter, you can get a lot of extra goodies you don't get with a normal subscription.

Just got back from Furrydelphia only to find out after half a night sleeping in my own bed that a good friend was in the hospital. She's doing fine now, but first day home was a bit hectic, is my point.

I'll be getting caught up on Menagerie tonight, updating Red Lantern, checking e-mail and getting Patreon packages in the mail this week. Thank you to everyone for your patience!

As of today I'm sadly pretty certain I've not gotten into the Midwest Furfest Dealers Den. That could change I suppose, but doesn't seem likely. Gonna be a lean winter, this con's become a mainstay for me and I'm not sure how I'll do without it. It's my only midwest con too, so. . . very sorry to those I won't be able to see this year.
