My training
Posted 4 years agoI am currently undergoing training in digital illustration. It is always wonderful and useful to improve your skills and learn from professionals. Also, first of all, I don't feel like a super cool artist. And secondly, despite the fact that I studied at an art school for 4 years and then at an art university for 6 years, I really did not study DIGITAL painting.
But even without that, I can't understand how I studied for 10 years and didn't know some basic things about perspective, about the human figure, about composition. This is really very strange, considering that I studied for excellent grades. >.<
In any case, I am glad that I started to study digital drawing on my own and develop in this.)))
Now, for example, I am very interested in "playing" with the perspective and dynamics of forms. In my last art, I tried to do just that!
You can watch it right here.⬇️

Please share with me if you like learning? Are you currently taking any courses or trainings?

Sketches or full color?
Posted 4 years agoI decided to conduct an experiment!
I see that many other artists only draw character sketches for their YCH's. Usually I first paint a picture in full color, put it up for auction, and then I paint it in full color again, but with the characters of the customer. As you understand, it takes 2 times longer than if I drew only a sketch and put it up for auction.
The idea is that this way I will be able to draw even more art with your characters, without wasting time on drawing my own.
The problem is that I'm not sure if anyone will buy such art from me with non-colored characters. ;((
I have already drawn a couple of such art on trial, but so far there have been no takers.
Here they are⬇️
https://www.furaffinity.net/view/43902136/
https://www.furaffinity.net/view/44049103/
Please tell me, how do you feel about the sketches from artists on YCH's? Is this normal? Would you buy it? Or is it more clear to you what will happen in the end on art when you see full-color art in front of you?

Exhausting road
Posted 4 years agoRecently, I traveled 4100 kilometers and 5 days to the Crimea by car.
It's been a long time since I've felt so exhausted and tired.
I couldn't think smart thoughts. I also couldn't focus on something and just reflect on my life. Because all the thoughts raced through my head, following the changing landscapes outside the window. And the moments of insight were knocked out of the brain along with the bumps on the roads.
I couldn't read anything for a long time - my eyes were tired from shaking the phone in my hand. It was impossible to draw in the car. Listening to books also did not work out, because loud music was always playing in the car for the convenience of the driver.
Sometimes I managed to fall into a restless sleep, interrupted by the same bumps or the sun in my eyes.
And I'm not talking about the fact that my whole body was numb, and my ass was squared.)))
And then there's this-to eat something anyway, just to fill your stomach, and go somewhere again-go-go...
But you need to enjoy the food, you need to savor it! Just like life! You need to fill up with life, enjoy it. You need to live in the moment, not waiting!
I want to take only the best from life! I want to eat delicious, high-quality food in beautiful places, and not hot dogs in roadside eateries! I want to fly planes and drink red wine, and not go by car for 5 days at the sea and drink black tea from a bag. Even without lemon!
And all that stops me from a more comfortable life is money!
I do not know how it is in other countries, but this phrase is very popular in Russia: "happiness is not in money." Many people believe this. However, people who say this simply do not know how it is to live well and comfortably, feeling freedom and independence from circumstances!
In all this history, one thing pleases: in many biographies of successful people, it was the shittiest moments in their lives, when it became unbearable to stay on the same level, that became the beginning of their takeoff!🚀
Please share with me, have you ever felt that you are tired of being on the same level for a long time?

I'm an impostor!
Posted 4 years agoI'm an impostor!
Impostor syndrome is very common. According to statistics, about 70% of people have felt like cheaters at least once in their lives.
Despite the fact that I went to art school for several years, graduated with honors, and then successfully entered the art university, in the first years I did not feel like a REAL artist. For example, I was ashamed to come to big, cool art stores, because "this is for real artists"!🙈
Then, after successfully completing my bachelor's degree and two failures in applying for a master's degree, when I finally managed to get there, in the first days I came to the university, afraid that I was about to be kicked out of classes, because it would turn out that I had entered by mistake! 🙈 🙈 🙈
And you know what calms me down?
Impostor syndrome affects ONLY successful people who have an inflated expectation of themselves. That is, if you have such feelings, then with a high probability you are actually ALREADY successful!!🙃 You just have to believe in yourself!
This is what helped me and is helping me right now:
* creating my inner support
* dealing with separation from parents
* making money on art, that is, on what I studied
* collecting positive feedback from customers
* a constant reminder of my successes and achievements
* overall positive attitude
Please share with me, have you ever experienced impostor syndrome? This can manifest itself not only in professional activities, but also in public life, family, relationships, and so on.

Problems with perspective!🙈
Posted 4 years agoI recently found out that, despite 4 years of art school and 6 years of art university, I have big problems with perspective!🙈
I did not expect such a dirty trick from myself! XD
At first I denied it, saying that a professional like me could not have such problems. Then I got angry, but I realized that something was wrong.
And then I decided to watch a course on building perspective in illustrations and I was blown away:
1. How much I didn't know
2. How stupid is it to claim that I know and understand everything
3. How everything turns out to be simple))
As a result, I thoroughly steamed up and drew art with one character for the total time spent on the drawing - 19 hours and 43 minutes!!
This is really quite a lot for me. However, I mostly studied in this work. And I think it turned out pretty well.))
And what do you think about such a complex composition in my latest art?))

Wonderful hike
Posted 4 years agoI returned from a two-day hike in the mountains. It was only 2 days and one night, but it feels like I was there for a whole week, and there are enough emotions for a year ahead!
The Ergaki Nature Park has long been one of my favorite places on Earth for me. I am charged with the energy of the taiga and mountains there, I enjoy the incredible beauty of the views that open up and every time I get to know myself anew.
This time I opened as many as 2 insights:
1. I can do everything and even more! When my strength was running out, and I could barely walk, and I said to myself: "That's it, I won't be able to take another step. I need to turn around and go back, " I still continued to climb the rocks to sit on a rock for 10 minutes, look around, and then with renewed strength continue climbing to the top of the pass. And this overcoming of yourself, your capabilities, is worth it every time, because only from the very top you can see the most incredible landscapes and feel that you are the ruler of the universe!
2. At night, lying in a tent and looking at millions of sparkling stars, I decided out of habit to make a wish. I always said to this incredible sky: "I want to be happy." But this time the usual scenario failed - I realized that now I am happier than ever and I am living my life to the fullest! And then, looking at the sky, which, it seems, I could reach with my hand, I wanted to see this beautiful sky even more from different parts of the globe. I want to see the sky in the Netherlands and the Faroe Islands, reach for the stars on Elbrus and Bali, I want to admire the world in which I live even more!
Please share with me, have you ever gone hiking in the mountains? Where would you like to visit? What beauties of the Earth would you like to see?

My summer trip!
Posted 4 years agoToday I am going on a summer trip! I am going from the city in which I live now to the city where I was born and raised. I hadn't been there for 6 years and really missed my home and relatives.
I have two days of train travel ahead of me. I know that in some countries there are no trains of this type at all, in which you can live for several days while the train goes where you need to go. Therefore, perhaps for some of you this method of transportation will seem strange or exotic.)))
However, I like to take the train. Despite the fact that I am always surrounded by a lot of strangers, despite the fact that I have to sleep, eat and do any of my things on a shaking train, despite the fact that the train may not be equipped with air conditioning and is not equipped with enough sockets. Despite all this, I really like the feeling that I continue to live my life - I read, draw, sleep, eat, and at the same time the train is taking me somewhere. I like to look at the changing landscapes outside the window. I love the smell of the railroad. And sometimes it is interesting to meet and communicate with new people.
You can't even imagine how excited I am about this trip! I've been dreaming about this for many months and even years! And now I'm just lying on my top shelf in the compartment, people I don't know are drinking coffee and cookies downstairs, fields and forests are flashing outside the window, and the train is taking me to the city of my childhood!
Please share with me, are there such trains in your country where you can live for a few days? And if not, would you like to take a ride on this?))

LGBT and fan fiction
Posted 4 years agoAs you can probably see from my art, I fully support the LGBT community. Although I am in a standard heterosexual relationship, I may well find other women hot and exciting.)) As for male love, I find it incredibly hot and sexy!
I really love everything erotic, sexy, sometimes vulgar or hot. So I draw it, read it, and write stories about it. Yes, I have one small hobby-I write fan fiction-it's a story based on a famous movie or book. Sometimes it's something like a continuation of the original story, sometimes it has nothing to do with the original at all, except for the characters. And of course, most often such stories are created in order to connect two or more characters in love affairs.
Recently, I was inspired by one of my favorite fictional couples and created this art.⬇️
https://www.furaffinity.net/view/42302761/
I think it's obvious which pair I was inspired by, but I'll still ask you. Do you understand who is in the picture?)))
Please share with me, have you ever heard of fan fiction? If so, what are your favorite peirings? If not, what characters from popular books, movies, or anime would you like to see together?

Reissue of my very first art
Posted 4 years agoAs you know from my past journal, I recently celebrated a year as I draw on Furaffinity. And on this occasion, one of my watchers offered me a great idea: draw a reissue of my very first art!
I really fell in love with this offer and I really drew a reissue of my very first art, which I drew on an iPad a year ago. You can find both versions for free here:
https://www.patreon.com/posts/51407307
In fact, it was a very cool experience, because I was able to see how much my level of drawing has improved over the past year. And you know what? This is an incredible change! Especially if you take into account the fact that initially I did not plan to sell my art at all, because I did not think that something worthwhile would come out of it.
Please share with me how do you like this change in the level of my drawing and even in my artistic style?

A year on Furaffinity
Posted 4 years agoToday is exactly a year since I started my Furaffinity!
It's hard to believe that a year ago I claimed that I didn't know how to draw, that there was no point in registering here, because it wouldn't work anyway.
And just to make you understand how delusional my thoughts were, I first graduated from art school, then received a bachelor's degree from an art university, and a year ago received a master's degree from the same art university. But I had a false belief that digital art was definitely not for me, as I had been an arts and crafts artist all my life.
However, just for the sake of an experiment and an interesting experience, I picked up an ipad for the first time in my life and tried to draw something.
Well, you know the bottom line.)))
Now I can confidently call myself a digital artist. And I was once again convinced that all our fears and insecurities are only in the head and in general they have nothing to do with reality.
Please share with me, have you ever had such moments when you were sure that you would not succeed and in general you were not created for this shit, but in the end you were really successful in this business?

I keep losing customers.
Posted 4 years agoI keep losing customers. I've already told you about my situation with PayPal. Let me remind you that a few months ago, on a not very beautiful day, PayPal simply blocked me, without explaining the reasons. This is happening all over the world, and people really often complain about PayPal because of this. However, you know, the fact that I'm one of many doesn't really comfort me.
¯\(°_o)/¯
In any case, the bottom line is that I started 3 other payment services: Payoneer, Paysend and TransferWise. They all have their pros and cons. However, one of their common disadvantages overrides all their advantages: they are much less common than PayPal! And it is precisely because many people have never heard of these services that they refuse to order art from me.
Luckily, I have a friend (my boyfriend, actually) who has PayPal. So almost all of my commissions and YCH's over the past couple of months have been paid through him. It would be cool and convenient for me if I could use his PayPal alone. However, he is also an artist and he also takes orders that are paid through PayPal. By the way, here is his page here.
As a result, I find myself faced with a choice every time:
1. I can offer the customer to pay for the order through one of the payment services that he probably does not know and he may refuse to order art from me.
2. Or I can offer the customer to pay for the order through my boyfriend's PayPal, but get the inconvenience that my money will first come to him on the platform, then he will need to send it to his card and then send it to me on my card. In addition, sometimes his or my buyer does not sign a comment under the payment and we have to guess which of us received the money.
Please share with me what would you do in my place if you were in this situation? (Did you manage to count how many times I wrote the word Paypal in this journal?)(¬‿¬)

🔸To Do list🔸
Posted 4 years ago

Recently, I had a moment when I was working on seven different orders at once. It made me a little confused. So I decided to structure my work. So now I've created a To Do list on Google drive.
🌸To do list🌸
This means that you can always go to my To Do list and see the percentage of completion of your order or your number in the queue.
As you can see if you follow the link, I have now made all my commissions and other orders. So now I'll be working on a new YCH's for you.
By the way, I have already drawn one new YCH.⬇️

Look carefully, maybe it is your character who can be in the place of this infernal demonic girl with hell pistols?(=^・ω・^=)
Nosebleed at work ;(
Posted 4 years agoToday, my English teacher and I discussed the topic of work. And I told her about my current job, about what I draw, and I really like it. I also told her that I was very glad that I now had the time and means to develop myself and have a good rest.
And then I remembered my last job... (╯︵╰,)
I can't say that my work was bad. But I definitely wouldn't want to go back there again. (>.<)
I worked as a sculptor and decorator in a pastry shop. I made figures out of mastic and chocolate for cakes and painted icing on cookies. Usually, our pastry shop had a moderate number of orders and in general I had a free schedule. However, before the big holidays, such as New Year or Easter, our pastry shop was in chaos and there were so many orders that we had to spend the night at work. I remember December a few years ago, when I was practically living at work and coloring icing holiday cookies there almost on an industrial scale, like Santa's elf!!!
However, this was a very unhappy elf who could not sleep for several days in a row, almost nothing to eat because of overwork, snap at everyone and push napkins into her nose because of bleeding.
That's when I realized that this is a complete ass and that I don't want to live like this anymore and I won't.
Now I have a life that many people dream of. And I know for sure that everything will be even better, cooler and more interesting! And I clearly see my path, full of prospects and a wonderful future!
Please tell me have you ever had a job that made you unhappy? Have you ever had a moment in your life when you realized, " Yes, this is it. This is a complete ass."

I want to live near the sea.
Posted 4 years agoNow I am on a short vacation in the resort city of Russia - in Sochi. You may know this city because it was here that the Winter Olympic Games were held in 2014. I came here to get acquainted with the city, to study the situation and to look for housing.
And...
I'm not moving to Sochi. I really planned to find a place to rent here and move South. This seemed like a great solution, since I can now work from anywhere in the world and I'm already sick of town where I live now.
However, things didn't really go according to plan. It turned out that there are very few places in Sochi where a freelancer can work comfortably outside of home. There is also a constant failure of mobile Internet and Wi-Fi. In many ways, Sochi is like a big village with palm trees and flowers. And of course, most importantly, in Sochi, the price tag for restaurants and coffee shops is slightly more expensive than in my city, and just a disproportionately huge price tag for rented housing.
And if not for the last point, I would still, no matter what, have moved here to live. Because there are also many advantages here.
- There is a sea nearby.
- Palm trees and flowers all year round.
- Urealistically delicious cafes and restaurants.
- The atmosphere of fun, happiness and relaxation.
- 3 times more sunny days than in my city.
- A very convenient system for renting electronic scooters.
- A huge variety of tourist places and a ski resort near the city..
And it is precisely because there are so many significant advantages to staying in Sochi that I still haven't completely given up on the idea of moving. At the moment, my income is not enough for a comfortable stay in this city, but I work hard, grow creatively and emotionally, develop myself and develop my art. Therefore, I am sure that the time when I will still be able to move to this wonderful city is not far off.
Please tell me, do you live in the North or in the South? Would you like to live near the sea or near the mountains? What is the ideal place for you?

Today I'm 27!!🌸
Posted 4 years ago

Today I'm 27! And to sum up, I really think that this twenty-sixth year was the best of my life!💙
This year I finally completed my official studies - I graduated from the master's program. Now I don't have this burden of obligations on me, and I even breathe easier.
In addition, due to the pandemic, I had to leave my job at two creative studios and start working in a completely new art form - digital art. It was the global lockdown that gave me such a powerful kick in the ass that I rethought some of my values and in a sense found a "new self".🌸
It was this year that my dreams began to come true! I visited Moscow (though only for one day). I started to learn English in earnest and now I can speak it quite fluently, although with hesitation. I started doing my beauty and going to salons, doing eyelash lamination and cold hair restoration. I started planning a move to the sea. I began to communicate with many foreigners, even if it was for work. I seriously thought about improving the quality of my life. I started working professionally in digital illustration, and thanks to this I became more free and not tied to one place.💙
I don't even always believe that all this is happening to me, that all my dreams are really coming true! And you have no idea how grateful I am to my life, to the universe, to fate, to the higher powers... In general, I just feel a huge gratitude and love inside me, which sometimes happens so much that I am ready to share them with joy.🤗
"Bayu-bayushki"
Posted 4 years agoIn Russia, there is a popular children's song: "Bayu-bayushki-bayu, do not lie down on the edge. A gray wolf will come and bite you on the side." Well, the kids are growing up, and so are the gray wolves.))) >.< I know it's a little weird, but I kept having this lullaby in my head when I was drawing my last YCH.
You can find it here if you still haven't seen it.

Also, one of the characters in this YCH is already taken. But there is still a male character who can be yours.;)

Oh. My. God.
Posted 4 years agoOh. My. God. That's exactly what I thought when I watched Snyder Cut today. Before that, I watched all the movies of the modern DC film universe. And, of course, I've seen the "original" Justice League from Joss Whedon. And to be honest, I almost threw up after watching it in the movie theater.
Today I was really shocked by how much Snyder changed the film. Now everything fell into place, became logical, the characters gained depth and adequate motivation. In addition, the graphics have been improved so that the eyes get an aesthetic buzz.
The film runs for 4 hours, but time flies by imperceptibly. And every minute you spend on this movie is definitely worth it.
Share with me what you think about DC comics or movies? Have you watched any of these movies? Have you already watched Snyder Cut or are you going to watch it?

Thank you for the 300!!!
Posted 4 years agoThank you for the 300 watches!!! I really appreciate the fact that I have you, that you support me, favor my work and of course order YCHs and commissions from me.
As a child, I never dreamed of being an artist. I wanted to be a singer or a flight attendant. A little later, when I started studying at the art university, I never thought that I would ever be an artist who paints pictures. I studied at the Faculty of Decorative and Applied Arts and Folk Crafts.
And for some time after graduating from the university, I really worked in my specialty - as a ceramist and potter in an art workshop. However, this work did not bring me the desired freedom, as I was tied to one place, and also did not bring me the desired income.
By the way, you can find a little of my past work (as well as the work of my students) in my Instagram. ;)
Now I feel free and independent like never before! Since I draw on my iPad, I can do it from anywhere in the world. Since I draw to order, I can create my own schedule.
And all this is possible only thanks to all of you and Furaffinity.💙💙💙

I'm an anime fan))
Posted 4 years agoI recently watched the anime 'Attack on Titan'. I was very impressed with the unusual and exciting plot. Especially the first season. I remember after every episode I would exclaim something like ' Whaaaat?', 'Come oooon!' or ' Wow, this can't be happening!' As a result, I was inspired so much that I wanted to draw art on this universe.

In general, I am a big fan of anime and Japanese art and culture. Now it's impossible to count how many anime I've watched in my life! At the same time, it is an anime of different genres, for different ages and for different moods.)))
But here is my small top of my most favorite anime series:
- Gintama
- Naruto Shippuden (despite the huge number of annoying flashbacks XD)
- Attack on Titan
- JoJo bizzare adventure
- Soul Eater
- Gurren Lagann
Of course, the list goes on. At least there aren't any full-length Japanese anime movies here yet.))
Please share with me, do you watch anime? What anime series do you consider your favorite?
