Half off colored sketch drawings extended to 6/7
Posted 9 years agoSo with the security breach because furries obviously have millions in their bank accounts, coupled with something else sucky, I will stretch the sale a week. To remind you:
$15 Lines
$20 Flat Color
$25 Shaded Color
This is for one char that would quailfy for the general rating. Extra stuff is obviously extra.

:( well, I have to slash commission prices again for a bit.
Posted 9 years agoYep something sucky did come, and I would like to sell my services.
From now until the end of May digital sketches from me are:
$ 13 / lineart
$ 20 / flats
$ 25 / shades and highlights
Please note if you are interested.

Commission Info (detailed)
Posted 9 years agoSomething tells me that something else that sucks will come this way, but let's not talk about that....
Ok! I am fully open for commissions of the digital, pixel and traditional art stuffs.
If you want a drawing (sketch) then it's $45 for the first one then $30 for anything after. I will actually send the original to you via FedEx so that's why I am charging that much.
Pixel Commissions are:
For a 50 x 50 and under sprite, a still is $18, an animation loop consisting of 4 or fewer frames is $14 per frame, more elaborate stuff are $12 per frame.
For a 100 x 100 sprite, A still is $25, $22/ frame for up to four frames and $20/frame for more elaborate stuff.
Bigger sprites than that get a quote from me.
Digital commissions (one character, single panel) are:
$25 / line
$40 / flats
$50 / shades and highlights
Other stuff will be quoted.
If you're interested, go ahead and note me. I will respond as soon as I am able to.

Pixel commissions!
Posted 9 years agoWell it was an bad event day, car acquired an electrical problem but enough about that.
I am confident enough that I can offer commissions on pixel art.

For both, just note me.
I hope you all have a happy weekend!

The Mexican Antrhopomorphic Party of Texas and where was I?
Posted 9 years agoI am doing a bunch of stuff. Setting up NOBody the Dragon sprite sheet to work better, fixing the Big Sprite Sheet, and starting a Bowser one. All that while taking commissions from folks at work and stuff like that. I feel a little bit lazy, though.
Got a fairly powerful computer in December and have been using it for mostly coding, seeing youtube in SLOW MOTIONand getting used to GraphicsGale. I am getting in-depth learning experience of C#, Swift, Python and the web languages with the notion of making my own site from scratch sometime this year, and eventually an app by 2018.
For that to work I really need a better job than just grunting at this warehouse. So I have been looking for a job that would pay at least $40k. With the skills I have, it is definitely doable.
I will attend TFF at least for Friday, since Addison is about 45 minutes from where I live depending on traffic. I don't intend to sell even though I have a tax permit, but if you want to throw cash for a sketch drawing or if you want to pick my brain for something go ahead, it'll wake me up from the monotony. :]

Looking for stuff for my portfolio
Posted 10 years agoI hope that you all are having a nice weekend...
Well, I am looking to add some vector work for my portfolio.
What does that have to do with you? Well it's the opportunity to have something in vector format for cheap.
I am doing pretty full color via Illustrator for $35 a pop. It'll be much more otherwise so take advantage of my need for employment by getting something good.
Here's an example http://www.furaffinity.net/view/16454343/

Update 3/29
Posted 10 years agoIt has been a long time since I wrote a journal...
First of all, I thank you all for your commissions on January. I couldn't have done it without you who contributed. I still have a pack of commissions that are sent be one person left, so I still have some work to do on that front, but I can take other commissions if there is interest.
Other than that, I have been okay, just busy in making sprites for my portfolio, learning how to program with any type of efficiency, and just doing stuff instead of being a vegetable and stuff. Hopefully it pays off this year rather than coming up empty handed again.

I need some financial assistance...
Posted 11 years agoI will explain my situation. My mother and I cannot get the money needed for the rent this month in time to not get evicted. My mother is in transition into a new job and I cannot sustain the financial load with my day job alone. We have problems with people (coworkers, relatives) and their inability to pay us for our services for months, and we will need about $750 by the 15th (I get paid on the 16th) so in order to make a try at getting the difference without planning a trip to the casino:
Until the 12th of January, I will accept up to 34 full color and shade character commissions for $25. I usually ask for $50 to $60 for it, but it's not the usual situation that we are in right now. Of course if all 35 are filled it's going to take a while to go through them with other obligations looming over my head as well.
If you are interested in this, please note me.
I thank you for reading this. If you decide to make a go, I thank you for your patronage. If you do not have the funds, if you can spread the word, I will very much appreciate that as well.

two thousand fifteen
Posted 11 years agoWhat I am doing for this year:
1) Program: So, I am learning computer languages, because working for $11 / hour is not cutting it. This so-called art career isn't cutting it. So I am learning .Net along with self learning Assembly, C#, and Swift so I don't need to hit the payday loans just to pay the rent. By the way, don't work for corporations unless it's at their corporate headquarters or at what they deem as "high value". It's such a trip how cliques rule in this place I work in.
2) Pixel art: I hid a bunch of sprites and animations that I made because no one needs to see them. They'll be shared or something like that once the sheets are complete.
3) Get a better line of work: Because I can feel myself getting angry about the job I have, and am just utterly disappointed of everything and everyone.
That's it.

$30 full color commissions: Extended until 10/17.
Posted 11 years agoWell I do have a bunch of work, but I decided to make a week extension because of the interest that has generated. But after that I need to focus on getting myself acclimated with web development.
But yeah I am opening up 7 slots along with the ones that are occupied. So yeah. More time for cheap commissions.
But yeah I am opening up 7 slots along with the ones that are occupied. So yeah. More time for cheap commissions.
3(+2) commission slots open: Full color and values for $30.
Posted 11 years agoI am offering the full render for half price. If you want something good full colors from me and for cheap, now is the time. I won't cut full color prices again for a very long time.
I am only offering this until the end of 10/10.
You're on the queue as soon as there is a transfer, and you will probably get something finished in a few days if it's not that complicated to draw out.
Extra characters and stuff like that = extra.
If you're interested, please note.

Commissions open.
Posted 11 years agoI am okay with my project and I fell into a snag and I need to keep busy. I am opening commissions with what I did earlier with inked ($15), flat($30), cel shaded($50) and full color($60).
Also, I will include vector and vexel graphics for $90 and $110. The recent Oswald is a okay example of the vexel.
Please leave a note or an email at castlekoopa[at]gmail(dot)com if you're interested.
So yeah, if you want an animation, I cannot help you as a freelancer, I got to work on getting into the animation or art field in a pretty quick fashion.

I heard the news.
Posted 11 years agoYeah, this sucks...
If you see another person who you know or or don't really know that's struggling, please help them. You don't need mountains of cash or the knowledge of Thoth, just some form of empathy and emotional support. You never know what that will do to them. Hell you might have saved a diamond in the rough or you might need the help of who you have helped before.
Yet before I start to think that I am on my soapbox, I wish the Williams family the best and for Robin himself I wish him peace in the afterlife. Any premature death is a sad death, wether by boxes, guns, crocodiles or anything. So yeah everyday can be a sad day, today is just a lot more obvious.

Update 7/27: Don't expect many images from me.
Posted 11 years agoAlso, I am not accepting requests, trades or commissions unless it's at $40/hour.
Why?
I am tired of being broke, distraught and underutilized. I have been struggling financially for 4 years and doing commissions online and in real life hasn't helped bolster my financial situation at all. Hell, I had more flakes that took my work and didn't pay than actual transactions. So, in order to break this vicious cycle, I will have to make changes in the way I do things. So I cannot be bogged down with anyone else's ideas unless it's so original that I cannot pass it up or they really make it worthwhile.
I am learning the basic languages of web programming so I can become either a web developer/designer and then to eventually become something better than I am right now. I don't know if there will be much time for stuff like Big the Cat because bills and student loans.
Oh well that's my situation.

Update 5/25 (broken tablet & stuff)
Posted 11 years agoWell my intuos 4 doesn't register anymore due to those loose usb ports. Since there is no backup now, I will have to wait in order to have the funds to replace it. I can ask for donations, but I don't feel that with a full time job and a couple of gigs that I will absolutely need to do that when I can get another job to accelerate the processes.
A kaput wacom is not stopping me from making a couple of prototypes of oz type-0 designs for tees. Along with all the other plans that I have as well. So yeah it's going to be a transitional half year for me.

Update 4/23
Posted 11 years agoHowdy.
First off, thanks for watching me. I used to go on people's pages to thank them personally, but the time could be better spent on making more of why you watch me in the first place.
Plus I am trying to get something together to eventually get either a job or a business going this year. The current job doesn't pay anything for the amount of student loans I accrued. I need to get a Master's to increase my options.
I have been kind of forgetting about the Intuos lately. I guess planning out things in my sketchbook is a lot faster these days. Most of the latest ones have been on the gods, and how they interact with each other and with people. I have been making some type of cartoon people in order for this to work as well. This will take a while, but once I have all areas of the concept visualized, have a name and then protected. (I really have to protect this, I am starting to see that maybe I am actually an innovator if it's only a very niche innovator.)
"What about the Big Animation, runde?!" I am going to revise how big's run, skid and peel out (yes peel out) animations should look like, since I am not copping Sonic on the animation but old school animation like Tom and Jerry, Woody Woodpecker and like 50 years of Disney for inspiration, especially after that walk cycle.

the year that was, and the year that's going to be.
Posted 12 years agoWell, 2013 wasn't great, but it could be a lot worse. There were times when I didn't know if I would actually make it through, but yeah it's here. I spare you any details about what went well and what was left to be desired because well, every journey's different. There's not a cookie cutter way of doing things. So I guess I can tell what I learned from this year that is about to end.
I learned to forgive people for being human, including myself. That is the hardest thing I have done, and probably the most important thing I take from 2013.
I learned that if I can put something together, I can be do a very good job at it.
Art wise, I learned about pixel art and a bunch about gaming design off of the net.
So, I guess with the new year 5+ minutes away where I am at, I will try to:
Animate a lot more, especially pixel art. (I am starting with that Big the Cat sprite)
Make a comic.
Make T-shirt designs.
Learn how to silkscreen.
Keep whatever cash I do get from this dinky little job I have.
Get a better job so I have better equipment. This computer is 5 years old.
May you have a prosperous and fulfilling Gregorian Calendar year 2014.

$20 flat color commissions (1 slot)
Posted 12 years agoSelling flat color commissions for $20. The purpose for it is to keep busy and try to get a car in a quicker pace. I definitely need one at this point, but I know I can't get it that quickly unless a miracle happens. So, slowly but surely is the key.
Please note if you want one.

Update 10/31
Posted 12 years agoWhat am I doing??
Oh animating a thing for giggles and then some of this and that. Things are okay. I am going forward and that's the best thing I can wish for right now.
I hope that you have a nice time and I thank you all for watching me. I can't say that enough.

FurAffinity Meme
Posted 12 years agoI'm drinking the punch, too. How do you like that??
1. Why did you join FurAffinity?
I mulled over joining for months seeing that before then Deviantart was my only place for artwork. In June '06, I was like "meh" and joined. I don't remember much else than that.
2. What does your username have to do with you?
Runde is German for round (competition or circular round) or lap. It is a suitable handle for my art style and what I do (not necessarily my body type ... now).
3. What is your current avatar of?
Peninja. He was made in professional practice class to be my brand character which he still is. He gone a massive transformation from his original form which, I admit, had a horrible beak. :/
4. How many watchers do you have, and how many do you watch?
812 watch me while I watch 216. I am kind of amazed that I have that many looking at my work especially with this surge of interest this year.
5. Do you have more than one account?
dungeonkoopa it's been dormant for years.
6. Name 3 of your favorite artists on FA.
Man, I can't really bring three out of my tongue without bringing another 7 with them, and another 10 with them, and another 20 with those....
7. What artist do you admire because of their personality?
Hmm... I have to say there are quite a few artists that I really like as people. I try and talk with everyone though, since it's about people, really.
8. Do you comment, fave, or both?
I comment a lot faster than I fave. I guess it's because I would see something and then communicate ... or at least try to communicate what I see to the recipient. Plus, I kind of forget to fave at times... Yeah it's pathetic.
9. What do you typically post on FA?
Usually fanart and commissions these days. I definitely have done my own original work, but I have plans to pursue a more professional route with them.
10.What's your favorite submission in your gallery?
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/11452047/
https://www.furaffinity.net/view/11488493/
11. What are the things you wish you could draw better?
Things are mostly off the list I can draw anything pretty well pretty fast. My biggest problem now is perspective, which I am working on, and dynamic composition. I would be a concept artist if I can jump that hurdle.
12. How many hours a day do you spend on FA?
I would say 3 to 6 hours a day. Depending on the day.
13. Are you a fast, slow, or medium typer?
I am a pretty fast, yet sloppy typist. I tend to think faster than my fingers can keep up with.
14. What is the most annoying thing people ask you?
There hasn't been much asked for me to do this year, and I don't think that any of it was annoying. At least I don't recall anything off the bat.
15. What is the most annoying/offending comment you've received?
Dang, I don't know... whatever it was, I advanced from that comment cause I don't remember anything that stood out as annoying or offensive.
16. What/who inspires you?
Video Game Concept Art, Movie Pre-Production and Comic Art started it. I wanted to do that since I was a kid living in a single parent home in the Middle of Wisconsin looking at the boxart of Super Mario Bros. 2. I got into cartoons (now it's "furry" which is dumb terminology, really. Who makes this stuff?) when I was in fifth grade and really never stopped.
I am now inspired by a lot of things, Graphic design, old stuff, new stuff. Anything I can get my oily, broken down bony fingers on. lol

Sale: $15 flat color commissions (closed) and update
Posted 12 years agoFirst, as always thank you for watching, favoring and commenting. I wouldn't be around here without your support.
It's labor day weekend in these united states, and I am ready to do some labor. Note me if you are interested in taking a slot.
Otherwise, I am doing okay.

update 7/27 (some stuff)
Posted 12 years agoFirst of all, thanks for watching. I would have done it on an individual basis, but I think making more things would be better thing to do.
Commission price list will be up tomorrow.I have been asked this frequently, so it's something I can't avoid to do.
I am still mulling about what to do with myself other than working at GameStop's warehouse for a pittance. Have been looking hard at sites like redbubble to gauge a place where I can test whether I can sell stuff like stickers and wear. If found out to be true, then I would learn how to make them on my own.
Comic is still in the works. I will probably finish it sometime in september, barring craziness. I also want to make an animation of Big the Cat in some old school sonic setting, doing sonic stuff, and trying to get back to school in January... I am going to be busy.
Other than that, I am fine. I have accepted a lot of things about myself and am trying to piece together the puzzle.
I hope you are doing well. :]

Update 6/22 (comic ideas for you)
Posted 12 years agoI hope that you all are doing better than I.
I am preparing to make some comics with a test one first and then the pilot for the mini egyptians right after. I have also set dates. The test should be done by August 1 (all digital), the egyptian gods one by September 1 (penciling it traditionally). But I got multiple ideas and I would like to share them with you so I can figure out which ones that people would like to see.
Ok, here it goes.
test comic ideas
Idea #1 Pokémon vs Everymon
Pokémon vs whatever you want (digimon, skylanders and the like.) 3 on 3 elimination style action. The set will be at Dragon's Den in Blackthorne City, or Victory Road (you get to suggest which characters will make the most impact in this as well).
Idea #2 "ROBOT HATE BLUE DRESS!!"
An echidna who somehow escaped the energy cells of eggman's, finds Knuckles at the island to ask for forgiveness. Knux doesn't take words as payment, he wants the other echidna to prove it by going through the island zones that are littered with working 20 year old badniks.
The Angel Island Zone will be the first issue... I think.
Idea #3 "Fast Traveller"
It's a silly idea brining the something as slow as Elder Scrolls, and putting a super speed infused character in Tamriel. I guess the more I thought of it, and what I can do to that idea I am going to put it here for you all to pick on and stuff.
Idea #4 "Castle Issue 2"
Some Mario fan characters fight Wendy O. Koopa and her awesome army of five koopas in her chic piranha tower. If you do not know look at the gallery for castle 1 and you get the idea of that, even though Larry didn't show up.
and now for the Pilot comic ideas...
Idea #1: Modern time on Public Transport
Anubis needs to heal his guard Anata so he attempts to use a potion. Someone takes that potion and proceeds to be belligerent shouting about things that do not matter to anyone. Despite the requests of Anubis, the perpetrator refuses to give the potion back, spouting pointless garbage unknown to anyone. What's a god of the dead to do in this situation?
Idea #2: Bast and Sekhmet go to the Squall
Sekhmet finds out late at night that there is an IOU from Horus where all the meat has been. Angered, she looks for Bastet, and finds her playing with Anubis in his sleep. Spoiling Bastet's fun, the two goddesses go to your neighborhood Squall market to get a hunk of meat, because it's too far a journey to go take out a big enough animal. What comes up is a shock for both the folks who inhabit the store, the ornery lioness and the bubbly cat goddess.
Ok, that's it I have wasted enough of your time. Thanks for reading!

update 5/31 (looking for advice)
Posted 12 years agoI have wondered if I can to use some new work and if I can apply them into apparel like shirts and hoodies. Where should I go in order to not make a pittance? I will try to see what I can do to get my name and work out there by just making good stuff.
Also I am thinking about streaming. I do not know if that will be a good idea or not but, I guess I would need to show what I do sooner or later.

Update 5/20 (progressing and maybe kickstarter?)
Posted 12 years agoGood evening, I hope that you are doing well.
So, I am still here. I am still drawing. People are taking notice of both of those. But it's been a tough outing once again this past month. Yet there is not depression that I feel, I feel hopeful that what I am doing for myself can get me out, somehow.
A reminder: you want to commission me, I shall put down a price guide sometime this week for digital work.
Oh yeah, I am thinking about using one of the crowd source websites (kickstarter, indiegogo, etc.) to help me make a graphic novel or in a moment of extreme ambition, a mobile game based on these little gods that I have been making. It would be some sort of action-comedy in comic form. What would you all think about that?
