I was following this overnight. I thought my ears were playing tricks when I heard the news gal say that the HMS Bounty (a replica built for the 1962 movie starring Marlon Brando) was taking on water 90 miles off Hatteras, North Carolina. It was headed for St Petersburg, Florida.

Word came from the Coast Guard that she sunk at 8:45 AM, just after the crew had been lifted off.

The news is now reporting on the death of Neil Armstrong, first man to step foot on the moon. He was 82 and recovering from heart surgery, according to reports.

It's sad when a person we've all known as such a hero for so many years passes but he did have a good run.

Hawaii Five-0 had some furries on it tonight. I expected the worst but they were just a passing reference at a comic con. A superhero fan was killed and his GF was a furry.

Yeah, there were general remarks about comic fen being uncool but that was it. No deep shots at furries for a change.
