New Apartment!!!

Softie and I have managed to find a new apartment! We’ll be moving in over the next few days and are just so excited and overjoyed to have a home again!
Thank you so very much for all of the kind words and support that you’ve all sent our way. It’s truly moving, and I really don’t know where we’d be without everyone’s generosity and kindness.
In a similar vein, while our gofundme is still live, we have met our goal and are requesting that if you feel the need to donate, please donate to the Red Cross (who have helped us immensely) or other organizations that support the homeless in your area.
Streams should resume next week! Thanks again so much, everyone!

Apartment fire, displaced
Posted 3 years agoThis morning Softie and my apartment building caught fire. We are both okay and are still waiting for news regarding the state of our home. From outside, our unit appears to have just been smoke damaged. We’ve been displaced for the foreseeable future and will almost certainly need to move.
I don’t know the status of any of my art materials or computer, but it seems probable that I’ll have to pause work for a while. If you have commissions with me I fully intend to finish them as soon as I am able, but I honestly have no idea when that will be. Contact me if you have questions or wish to cancel.

I had to have some emergency dental work done today. As a result there won’t be any stream today and maybe not one tomorrow, depending on how the follow up appointment goes.
Insurance isn’t covering any of it, so may have to do a commission drive soon.

Short break, no stream 10/25
Posted 3 years agoHey folks, I've been burning out a little I think. Working 50 hour weeks will do that lmao. I'm sick, and I think I have an RSI, and I just need to take a day or two off to try and recover. Sorry to my clients, you remain my primary priority and I will be back to work on art ASAP.

Posted 3 years agoWow, what a month! Just finished a huge move all the way from the middle of Minnesota to Washington state. I'm finally living with my beautiful girlfriend 
dummythicconi! Been slowly getting settled after the 1800 mile drive while waiting for the pod with most of my stuff to get here. While I'm looking for a part time job, I mostly want to try and make a living doing art, one way or the other. To that end, I'm working on drumming up more commission work! Commission slots will now be kept up-to date at the top of my page! If you're looking for artwork, I'm the cow for you!

Posted 4 years agoWow, haven't made one of these in a while! But there's lots of exciting stuff going on in my life right now and I need to share some of it!
First off, I've finally got a commission sheet! Which is... Long overdue. Anyway, you can find it here if you're interested!
Next up, for those of you who prefer the cursed cyberscape of twitter, you can check out my new nsfw twitter! There's not a ton up there yet, but I'm going to be posting both here and there going forward. In a related vein, expect posts to pick back up here on FA as well! I've been letting this page languish for too long, and I want to start making art for the community again.
On a final and more personal note, I want to just put out that I'm going to be using she/her pronouns going forward - I've had a lot of thinking to do over this whole pandemic, and I'm trying to pursue the life I actually want to live. I also want to thank my beautiful girlfriend dummythicconi for all her support and encouragement in getting back into actually making art again!
Phew that felt like a lot! Looking forward to drawing fun stuff for you all!

It's been a while since I've done this, as February of 2016 fell on something of a hiatus for me. But I'm back, and so is Toyification Day/Month/Weeks/whatever the hell I'm doing this time!
For those who haven't yet experienced, or not looked past the first page of my gallery in a while, during February I offer commissions in which you (yes, you) can be drawn transforming/transformed into a cute, valentines-day themed toy!
This year I'll be offering colored sketches (an image quality similar to this. ) as an extra option on top of my normal rates, though Colored+Shaded won't be offered in the interest of getting as many folks art as possible! For convenience's sake, rates are as follows:
Sketch: 10 USD + 7.50 USD per extra character
Colored Sketch: 15 USD + 11.25 USD per extra character
Lined+Colored: 20 USD + 15 USD per extra character
Please, no long sequences! I generally get a fair bit of demand for these, and I'd like to fulfill as many orders as I can before Valentine's day proper!
I will open 15 slots to begin with. Please PM me if interested!
EDIT: All slots are full - Anyone who is still interested can be put on a waitlist, but I will not guarantee I'll be able to get to everyone on that waitlist this month.

Posted 10 years agoI am going to be leaving. Not because of anyone or anything else, but just because it's time. I need to move on and grow as an artist, and actually think about developing professionally.
I'll still make artwork, albeit clean, and you may see it pop up on other corners of the internet. If you do find me again, I'd like to request that you don't draw attention to the connection. I know I can't stop you, but I'd really appreciate it.
I'm going to keep my gallery up for about a month before I close up shop. Thanks for all the support over the years!

Posted 10 years agoI'm not going to go into the details, but my personal life has recently gotten complicated. This has the potential to offset my timetable for completion of the 8 commission slots (I originally wanted to get them done by the 14th). Rest assured that work is still underway on them however (I intend to start work on the digital component of the pieces in streams beginning tomorrow - all save one of the pencil work is done), and I am still going to shoot for posting all the pieces on the 14th.
If this goal proves unattainable, the 8 slots will all certainly be finished by the end of the month (at the extreme latest). If I am unable to meet the valentine's day deadline, and a commissioner is unhappy with this, a full refund will be offered upon request, and you will still receive the rough work done up to that point, as I understand that is in fact the reason many of you have purchased the commission.
I'm not the kind of person to let my personal problems get in the way of my work. If you've bought a commission from me, it will be finished. I do not wish to ask for your patience, but I would appreciate your granting it.

Laptop/Tablet Suggestions?

After 7 years, I'm really getting sick of my beat up old MacBook. It's time for something new. I don't need anything fancy (god no not another mac), just something that I can use for general web browsing, word processing, skype, drawing and maybe playing some less graphically intense games.
I know there's some cheap notebooks out there, but I'm not sure what's decent. I'm even halfway considering going for a combo tablet-laptop, albeit a low end one - It might be fun for drawing to not have the tablet-screen disconnect that I have with my wacom.
Whatever it is, I'm expecting to keep it for a while. I'm not the sort of guy who replaces his electronics too often.
