Things in the night are all around us, baying at the door and windows.

A great many of us are not going to have a happy new year.

So what can be done when nothing can be done?

Hope still lies within us, but hope is the worst, hope is a bitter small fragile thing that just when you think you have it, escapes further away.

But if you need it, i have hope here for you, it's not much; it's small and fragile, but I want to share it with you that somehow, someway, we can be better.

The 2020's are going to be interesting times.

We are cursed with living in them.

I want to try draw something everyday.

I've just done a very quick google search and ... meh.

So please suggest just a concept a brief one/two words of something i could try draw.

Maybe start with simple things?

The longest night is a great time for reflection and that happens to be today.

Thanks to you, so many friends I never feel too sad, sometimes; often, I wish I could be there for you physically as well but I will take what comes happily and work to make it better.

So the longest night isn't so dark, isn't so scary with friends like you in my life.

You really do make things better for me, all of you, if you talk to me every day, once a month or even just watch; knowing you are there helps, makes my world a better place.

Have a very happy and safe holidays and know that you also aren't alone, if the nights are cold and dark you don't have to reach out far for someone to reach back.

That's a little bit of an understatement actually, i've been incredibly unwell since late November i've been fighting a pretty serious respiratory infection, i've been on REALLY strong anti-biotics and have some medicine to help me sleep and not throw up (due to the strength of the anti-biotics...)

I'm hoping i might be able to actually go out tomorrow for an extended period of time but i'm not sure about that at this point.
