We think of wealth and the economy being affected by goods and services, Russia and Ukraine are exports of wheat and natural gases and oil, as well as land full of precious metals and elements.

However, I want to emphasize the fact that wealth is the intelligence, creativity, and productivity of its citizens as well. And with this war, and governments that limits the freedom of its citizen, this war has caused the world to be poorer with each life lost. We do not value the poor people in our communities, or the every day citizen. We like to have our attention on the rich, but the rich don’t always make the country grow in wealth (in fact they at times squirrel their wealth away from their country), it’s the people who makes their country vibrant and lively.

But what do rich people know of the common people? The rich wonders why the people poorer than them hate them, however it must be asked of the rich why they have little love for the people poorer then them. And they don’t know them, they don’t have meals together, they do not make meaningful friendships with those of lower economic standing. However how they differ in income, the rich unfortunately miss out on what money cannot truly buy.

Russia can take Ukraine, but only if the Russian people can be told the truth of what happened, given access to international media and to the whole world, at least for documentation and for damages of the costs to repair everything.

But if anything, Ukraine should be a “neutral zone”, not of NATO, not of USSR control.

10 billion dollars of damage, too many sad stories already

I see Putin, or I see my father in Putin, unwilling to admit he’s ever wrong or weak, he will try to force the world and people into his own vision. And a President or a country’s leader is fortunately/unfortunately the fathers of our respective country.

I am really hoping that there will be some truth and reconciliation that will happen, the Russian people and hands have dealt damages to Ukraine, I hope Ukraine will allow and encourage Russian people to repair the damages through time and labor if needed.

My father is my father, regardless, I am responsible for him.

Ukraine and Russia will “win” not only from ending the war, but being able to live and heal from all of this, this is what I hope for.

If there is anything that I have said that is offensive, or require more in depth conversation, I am open for notes.

I know nothing about the geopolitics between Russia, China, and Ukraine.

But in my hearts of hearts, I hope that the people of Ukraine will be safe and like a young teenager learning to be an adult, assert their independence and have the leaders be willing to come to the table and actually talk things out like adults.

And to the Russian protesters, I fear for their lives and hope they are safe. It’s admirable and beautiful that there is a protest at all, that the Russian leadership hasn’t killed off your morals and spirit. And it’s what is needed in a very urgent time in our lives. I only urge those who choose to protest actually have a plan and goal, to use their heads more than their emotions. If you are not a fighter, if people want to silence you…. write, write a letter to a friend abroad or overseas, make art, make graffiti, sing, post a YouTube or TikTok video, whatever so long as you don’t get caught. It does no one any good for a good person to get arrested.

Please support one another, especially in hard times. Make sure to keep each other warm and fed as needed.

Please stay connected, please stay in communication with one another, reach out to someone who you never got a chance to talk to, especially in a world that tries to tear us apart. Please be strong, please get stronger and be smart on your feet. We live in a world where some people want to go to war because there is an unhappiness inside some people, and so much is hurt, so much is lost. But it is with sincerest hope that we can wage peace, to fight for peace, and have a plan for how that peace can be accomplished.

There are Chinese people in China who also protest against the war, but they are even smaller in number. Those who protest are then punished as well.

Back then, there were non violent protests in Russia during the Cold War, and unfortunately even back then Soviet Russia are not kind to protesters:

Like, come on seriously, at least the US at least attempts to rehabilitate the protesters they do arrest (most of the time, the US is still a work in progress).

So California apparently has a governor re-election/removal thing going on. Personally, I think it’s a waste of Tax dollars, but then again petitions to remove have been signed.

However you wish to vote, please make sure to research and turn in your vote in a timely fashion. And your vote, no matter at the federal or state level or what you do in your day to day living (vote with your dollar, vote with your actions), does matter.

Please keep discussions and conversations civil and your personal political preferences to your selves, get vaccinated, put a gawd Ducking mask on....

Hey y’all. Been taking a Hiatus on art for the summer. Will be working at a summer camp working with kiddos until September 2021. It is something I wanted to do, especially since this is the summer camp open to the campers since Covid started back in 2020.

So.... I finally got around to publishing the Dandelion sticker pack,

So... that’s how it happened. Still intending to add more to it, but for people who likes it and want to use it/spread it around go for it. Dandelions are meant to multiple :)

Will be taking a break from the “Red and the Wolf” though I plan to do more illustrations with them. Some other projects have come up and want to give those projects my full time and effort as it is very difficult to multi task, but once I finish it, I hope I can get back to doing more for sure.

But I guess I am wondering? How are you liking these illustrations of “Red and the Wolf” so far? And would be nice to hear your own personal interpretations of the story, what have you taken away from the story? And if you can rewrite the story, what kind of story would you tell and what would be the intention of the retelling?

So.... it seems like I’m either going back to traditional, or I’m going to finger paint digitally from now on until further notice.

Awhile ago, even after my updates, my Apple Pencil was acting up and I googled search all the remedies I can do, resetting my Bluetooth, resetting the connections, shutdown and resetting my device all to no avail. My $100 Apple Pencil now is just a useless piece of technology wrapped in plastic. I contacted the Apple help staff, would probably need to go to a physical store or something.

So either digital finger painting or going back to traditional works in the mean time.

Currently living around Fresno, the fire complex is burning near where I live.

All of California is burning, it’s like Australia all over again. From where I am, keeping an eye on it, but getting ready to evacuate if needed.

The world is not going to be the same after the pandemic, California will not be the same after these fires run their course.
