Yep we are finally going to AC!  Rythal_Zak_Necodrale and I have been trying to go for two years and have had something happen every time that prevented us from going but now we are both registered and have a room at the renaissance booked! I'll write more on our current situation and other stuff soon but I wanted to say this because I'm super excited!

I have been really busy with my job so I haven't been on much and I also Have to use my old Vista laptop because my nice one bit the dust. X.x My motherboard finally gave up the ghost.

This being said I'm going to try and set up a work space so I can be on more and work on the few things I need to finish before working on gift art for a while! I'm not thinking of doing commissions for a while as I'm terrible about getting things done quickly enough but if I think I'm better about it I may open up a certain amount of slots or something but that probably won't be for a while!

Only rules are you need to be polite, clean, and if you want to be on video you must be in suit (had too many not in suit people on last time and I don't have as much fun then not to mention the lag). anyone can come in and chat or be on mic though!

Well I don't know many people who other would call popular but I am noticing a trend in how people treat them. So I'm going to talk a bit about it.

First "popufurs" are simply people who others like for a specific skill. Some like their suit and character some people like their art, others like their suit making ability or dancing. There are reasons these people are popular.
Popular people are still people. This means unless you have commissioned, traded, or bought something from them they owe you nothing. Yep nothing nada zip. They don't have to give you anything or even talk to you if they don't want to.
As a person they have every right to ignore someone they wish not to interact with. Everyone needs to understand this. If they only talk to others they know or maybe even a few they don't you have no right to a reply as they don't owe you one.
If you're super nice to someone that doesn't mean they owe you anything either. Even if you say something nice to a person every day for years they still don't even owe you a reply let alone art or anything else.


As a person I reserve the right to choose who I interact with. No one owes you interaction unless money or trade or something of the like is involved and even then it depends. If someone knows you like murrsuits and refuses to make you a suit that is also within their rights. If they know your a bad customer to others they can also refuse to talk or deal with you.

Think about this. The more you complain that no one answers you the more "interaction blacklists" you end up on. I don't know about others but I have a list of usernames from various sites that are on my blacklist for simply being rude, whiney, or bad customers to others. For instance say you made a super sexist or racist remark on twitter and you have fa linked in your profile there's a pretty big chance I've blocked you on both sites because I dont want to interact with a person with these views although I usually don't block people who simply disagree with me. These are people I see no point in interacting with that will be worth the time. I would rather spend my time talking to people I like talkjng to. (If you complain about popufurs a ton chances are your on this list for many others).


Tl;dr
Even if your nice no one HAS to do anything for you popular or not. Nope they don't even have to acknowledge you exist if they don't want to. Is that rude sometimes? It can be but no one owes you anything unless you have made an agreement with them(commissions, trades and the like). No one even owes you a reply if they don't feel like talking to you.
Its fine to talk about stuff like this and no one is going to take away your free speech, just know the conciquenses of what you say. Word travels pretty fast in communities like this and you can be blacklisted for simply being rude.

Hope this all makes sense as I'm writing from my half-useless smart phone as my computer is being fixed by our friend the wizard. Xp thanks for reading all of this or some of it or whatever you got through! I feel like this is common and that bothers me. Feel free to chat about your views on this.

I am actually crying. I really loved Robin williams and I feel like if his fans knew he was hurting we could have helped.... I Feel like he needed us and we failed (as dumb as that might seem). He made my childhood wonderful and as I grew up I found his other movies and loved them just as much.

If you think suicide caused by depression makes a person less of a person never speak to me. Depression is a huge issue that is barely dealt with and can happen to anyone no matter how "nice" their life may seem to you. Being famous or having money =/= not having depression.

It is the rape of an animal. Animals can NOT consent so you have no business doing things to them.

NO IT IS NOT WORSE TO EAT MEAT. Just because you think eating animals is bad doesn't mean others do. It is unhealthy 90% of the time to be vegan or vegetarian (in fact many need supplements to keep going) and has NOTHING AT ALL TO DO WITH WHAT TERROR AND HORRID LIVING CONDITIONS YOU ARE INFLICTING ON YOUR ANIMAL. They depend on you for love but not in a way that is RAPE.

If any of this is unclear I'll explain any of it to you. If you are a "Zoosexual" aka Animal rapist hiding behind a fake sexuality you need to go get help and unfollow me right now. I want NOTHING to do with that.

EDIT: Being vegetarian or vegan isn't bad it's simply hard to do and quite often leads to needing protein supplements and other things you would normally intake by eating meats. Human bodies are set up to be omnivores not exclusively herbivores so maintaining a diet like one is more difficult. (this is off topic)

So I've been planning a ton of videos but I haven't had time to film any of them between dental issues, the animals, my family, and this oppressive heat!! It was better yesterday and today but things have just not been going my way.... I'm not feeling well because of my wisdom teeth moving and causing my gums to swell and hurt and the heat which both make eating very difficult. -_-; I haven't taken advil or anything today and it was better so I hope my teeth are about done... tomorrow I'm going to go get the air conditioner so that will help as well. Also may have missed the fireworks again....

I hope my friends are having fun at AC! I miss them and I'm sad I missed an opportunity to see those who are farther away. I'm sure we will find a way to go next year and maybe we will go to a con in march? I'm just sad because I always miss out on the fun stuff :/ bleh I'll stop being a butt now! X3

So I'm not moving! YAY! The plans my dad had made fell through but another door has opened for him so it's all good! Things got a little wonky because of our dog but it's worked itself out!

I've been gone from most of the interweb for a couple weeks now and I'm not sure how much I'll be on for a while still but I wanted to keep you guys updated!

So all in the course of a couple of weeks my grandmother passed away, I was scheduled to tour a college I want to go to, my ferret had to go into surgery, my parents finally decided they are in fact moving to nebraska for a year, and we did a three day yard sale from about 8am to 6pm all of memorial day weekend. On top of that a very close friend of mine decided to try and join the air force, not a bad thing but still more stress. All of this while I'm working 9 to 5 almost every weekday.

So things are pretty stressful and busy... I'm ok but I won't be able to be on as much for a while until things calm down. I've had very little time for myself lately and have spent most of it trying to relax a bit x.x

This is not a discussion for people that disagree with my statements, you already have your way, this is for those that want to change how things currently are because we see it as a toxic ideology to society and especially women, and it needs to STOP.

My hope is that once the fandom can be made a safe space, the world can be as well. My hope is that people will take this as inspiration to do better, and to make more conscious efforts in regards to how they act around the topic of rape.


1. Rape is not okay. It is not a joke, it is not normal, it is not something that should be taken lightly. The fact that it is usually taken this way and how people that speak up get mocked, is wrong, and we will not sit idle and let it happen any longer.

2. By making rape into any of those things above, it normalizes rape and the concept of it becomes socially acceptable. When this happens, the real crime doesn't get taken as seriously anymore. Part of this is when someone brings it up it gets compared with other crimes and concepts to try to justify it in that it "isn't that bad". What people need to realize is that it is one of the worst forms of torture and it destroys lives, and it needs to be treated like what it is.

3. Rape culture is real and it exists, and it is a problem that affects many individuals even today. It is imperative that people speak up when they see any glorification of rape, as public disapproval is one of the more effective ways on ending this culture. They thought it was a good thing because people said it was okay, now we will make it an awful thing by telling them it is not okay. Some people just don't understand and need to be educated, though this is not an excuse.

Rape culture is a concept which links rape and sexual violence to the culture of a society, and in which prevalent attitudes and practices normalize, excuse, tolerate, and even condone rape.

I hate commenters on youtube. I really do. 90% of the comments left on videos are dumb questions or statements that make no sense, are rude, or annoying.

DO NOT COMMENT ON A VIDEO WITHOUT READING THE DESCRIPTION. Just don't. Or anything else for that matter READ BEFORE COMMENTING.

I swear if anyone asks me a stupid question because they didn't bother to glance at the description they will be blocked.(NO MERCY) If you don't bother to read and at least try to figure out the answer with the info given then you are not worth anyones time to explain things to you.

I hate dumb questions but I think people who think they are smarter/ know more because they are older than the person who is in the video or who posted it are horrid.

NO do not try and tell me how to handle MY SUIT. I have knowledge of fursuits and how to care for them, and the dumb comment you just made is not only UNhelpful and sometimes completely misinformed but extremely rude.
No pulling on a suits jaw will not hurt it unless it was made badly. No brushing it with a slicker brush will not pull out too much fur as long as you don't brush it all the time. No picking a suit up by it's ears won't hurt it as long as it was made well.
Do not judge a persons knowledge on a topic by their age! Don't give advice when you know nothing of the suit/ suit maker/ person/ fursuiting in general.

*EDIT* I forgot to mention that picking a resin based suit head or a heavy foam head up by it's ears might cause damage. At this point I was ranting about specific comments on light foam heads in videos and didn't even think to mention this xD oops! (thanks Uruei for saying something!)

KNOW WHAT YOUR TALKING ABOUT BEFORE YOU POST THAT COMMENT. No I don't mean "well I heard someone say it once" or "I read it somewhere" I mean actually go look into it BEFORE you post.

If you post about how the person is not taking care of their suit properly be ready to back that up because it's a super quick way to piss people off. 90% of people who have suits know way more about how to take care of THEIR suit than you ever will so don't run your mouth where it's not welcome.

YOU ARE NOT ENTITLED TO ANYTHING, No one HAS to do anything for you. Don't expect them to drop their prices for some person on the internet they don't know. Makers prices are that way for a reason and if you don't know/understand why then find out first. Clockwork did an entire post of what costs what and where your money goes when you send it to them.


(And just to be perfectly clear telling someone who is selling something completely hand made for a higher price than you think it is worth that "no one will buy it for that much. I'll give you 500 for it" Makes you a complete ASS and I hope someone breaks your face.)


So as far as what you should take from this journal here is a do and don't list for youtube comments about fursuit videos:

-DON'T post any comments until you've watched the whole video and read the description
-DON'T give advice on subjects you don't know much (or anything) about/ when not asked
-DON'T ask someone to make you something for free/ reduced price (the rest of us had to save up and so do you!)
-DON'T complain about how suits are too expensive for you and how sad you are and blah blah (No one likes these comments and they are really annoying, DON'T BE A DOWNER)
-DON'T ask "who made the suit/ how much it was/ how can I get one/ do you do commissions etc." if it is clearly written or talked about in the video or description (What, are you dumb? GO LOOK)
-DON'T tell someone how terrible their suit or a part of their suit looks unless they ask about it
-DON'T spread misinformation (don't pick it up by it's ears or they'll fall off, if you tug on the mouth it will break, I heard febreze makes stuff clean etc. ARE WRONG, if your suit isn't fairly durable it was made wrong)
-DON'T text talk (you not "u", why not "y", etc. or prepare to be ignored because if you don't take the time to write correctly they won't take the time to answer)
-DON'T EVER BASH SOMEONES CHARACTER (If you do I hope you know how terrible you are)
-DON'T expect people to give out personal info / private facebook / skype or whatever. If they know you then you're not a stranger and it's usually ok. (get to know them first jeez)
-DON'T post creepy comments. Don't tell some person you don't know that they are sexy/ F**k-able/ hot as these comments are creepy from strangers and usually really rude. (NO IT'S NOT A "COMPLIMENT" KEEP IT TO YOURSELF)

-DO say kind things about how the suit looks/ is made
-DO ask questions about the character or how the suit feels to wear
-DO ask questions that are not already answered
-DO talk about your suit/ a suit you like and are reminded of (this one needs to be centered around talking about fursuits not talking about yourself)
-DO ask makers how they do things that you like about their style
-DO comment on how the person presents the character



OK I think I'm about done... this was mostly just a vent but I will gladly have convos about it if you guys want. XD
I try to make these a little silly as it's a little better to read them that way. So the "overreacting" is mostly for fun Xp

So if you saw my last journal I'm sad to update it.

It's supposed to snow about a half hour after the whole thing starts so I'm going to have to say it's now a non-suiting event and to keep your expensive animal stuff at home :(

A light dusting isn't a big deal but it makes things really slippery and could be dangerous so I'd rather just call off the suit part unfortunately.
Also I don't know what snow will do to a suit after a certain amount of time I assume water damage and possible glue problems from the cold.

first off my grandma is not going to make it to march (doctors say). I'm not going to get into this too much publicly but she's my only grandparent still around and I haven't talked to her in a while because of issues between her and my dad(her son).
