third, looking for some advice on the first topic.

what do i do to entice old and new watchers alike to go to my new account? since i have like NO watchers, how do i get attention? doing like a giveaway or requests would be pointless when nobody knows i exist, and even if people did go check the page for it, there's no sure way to get them to click that "watch" button. does anyone have any advice on this? how did you get new watchers? what did you do to bring them to yer page and keep them interested enough to watch?

i've been wanting to move accounts for some time now since i changed my online name. i go by cptmercier everywhere else and i'm annoyed at this account.

i'd prolly have moved ages ago if i wasn't watching so many artists. but since i don't have many followers i doubt i'd have much of a loss since nobody actively watches me anyways. LOL should i just go ahead and move? i might consider getting more active here again if so.

i'm curious, i'm having some issues posting more icons on the profile bit of my page. is there a limit to how many can be posted there? i know i've seen many profiles with many, many more than i've listed shoved in there. they seem to work if i use the tag+icon code, but i don't want that cause wow it's sloppy.

as i've explained elsewhere, i'm trying my best to try and snag a few commissions because my family doesn't have the money to celebrate christmas this year... but i want to make enough to get my brother a little something. and i wanna try and get something from the steam holiday sale(because then i could AFFORD to get my brother a thing or two off his wishlist) and that ends the 23rd.

i have a problem with how often i watch batches of awesome artists. it starts by me either seeing a piece of art i like and then going to check their gallery and watching them if i like them. then i look at their favorites and whatever icons they might have on their page. i tend to look at icons and if it piques my curiosity i'll check their page. and then check the icons on their page, rinse and repeat.

i've wasted hours doing this. i need help. i have so many amazing artists on my watch list i don't know what to do with myself. LOL but it is a fantastic way to find some incredible artists, and a lot of them at that. it's rather addicting. obviously.

i went and signed up for sofurry for some reason. figured why not? might as well. especially seeing what's going on with fa... again. here's my account for those curious. i'm wondering how i'm gonna handle this account... i'm probably not gonna submit any old art but start with one or two submissions of things i'm proud of-- like windblown. otherwise a totally fresh start. gonna try to submit there often and remember to post up wips and sketches-- something i don't do anywhere else!

should i consider joining inkbunny too? are either of these sites good? i know nothing about them and haven't looked into either before but now's as good a time as any to make accounts there. i don't have much of a fanbase on here anymore anyways. s'not like i'd be losing much. hopefully my more loyal watchers have accounts on these places too. if not you know to find me there!

don't forget i also have a da and weasyl i keep updated. i'm considering offering different things on each of these sites, like you can only find extra work(sketches and the like) that i do on sofurry, only "finished"(flat colored to fully done) things on weasyl and da being a mix, ect. those are just examples, not what i currently do as all three galleries(fa, da and weasyl) essentially have the same submissions and i submit evenly on all of them even if i'm slow to keep up with weasyl. but i'm caught up everywhere at the moment.

depending on the feedback i get about sofurry and how it is and how the community is and such, i might exclusively offer requests there at random times as incentive to follow my account there and actively keep up with my submissions and journals. o: if sofurry isn't the place for this, i might do it with weasyl instead to encourage people to make accounts and watch me there as well. i know for a fact weasyl is a great site with a wonderful community and it deserves to gain some more members and get some people back after people so lovingly abandoned it and crawled back to fa. LOL

so yeah! tl;dr: i'd love to know more about sofurry and inkbunny to get a feel for how the websites are run and how the communities are, as well as feedback for what you guys would be interested in seeing me do with them that's different from simply uploading all the same images across the board. let me know what you think about that and those two sites!

i signed up for weasyl a couple days ago but i just got to updating my info a little on there. i'm really nervous cause i haven't joined a new art site in several years and idk anything about weasyl. like do they prefer animals over humans/anthros, anthros over animals/humans, ectect. how friendly are they, is it a good place to get commissions and trades. all that good stuff. i sorta need a guide to show me the ropes a little.

i don't even know what to submit as my first picture there, i don't feel like i have anything that's good enough to submit. been sitting at 900+ pageviews for many many months cause i keep forgetting to be active here. somehow i managed to get 1,300+ on my old account ruskiee(and that account has even less submissions than this one???) and 2,500+ on my first acount, reamwolf.

registered reamwolf march 27, 2009, i watched 46 people and had 93 watchers on reamwolf; 206 submissions, 532 received comments, 358 given; active for a little over two years?

registered ruskiee on may 26, 2011 on i watched 184 folk and had 72 watchers; 73 submissions, 354 comments received, 358 given; active for five months.
somehow in that short timeframe, the stats above were acquired. o_o not sure why there was a big bump in it but it was cool. but i was pissed at the name, it looked so uneven... so shortly after i made ruskiee i made this account and am more pleased with the name.

registered ruskiiee on november 18, 2011, watch 228 and that list is constantly growing, 48 watchers(the lowest i've been and continue to seem to stay around); 61 submissions, 96 comments recieved, 85 given; active for a bit over two years.

the story behind the bad stats on this account is a long one. shortly after i made i moved off to new mexico and failed miserably at everything, and when i came back home we had no internet and that lasted a bit over a year. then when we got it back, i jumped into other things and overall forgot to get active here and post the sketches and wips i did while i was gone. and then i just kept forgetting and after that, every now and then i'd remember to post something.
i'm gonna be changing that and trying to submit things more regularly again like i used to on my old accounts~ maybe do more journals too but i've become a pretty private person over the years for reasons. but i'm always open to answer any questions tossed my way about anything. so if i have any curious wacthers, i highly encourage social interaction with me!
