Excerpted from auction:
 rattie-cookie is a Belgian fur who has been part of the fandom for many years. In December she was diagnosed with invasive stage 3 breast cancer, and since then has had to pay over 700 euros ($900) in tests and treatment - even with health insurance. She's now started a 16 week chemotherapy treatment, after which they will operate and remove her tumor, and the medical costs will run into hundreds more. With no family to help out, at this point Cookie could really use the help and generosity of the fandom to get her through this.

Earlier this month an appeal was put out to Cookie’s artist friends and anyone else who wanted to help this lovely lady overcome her disease. Many, many artists have come forward to offer their services to raise funds to help Cookie with her medical costs - and now you, the bidder, have the chance to help out while grabbing a huge host of amazing artwork from some very talented individuals!

Apparently there is a direct correlation between school (and drawing on the computer) and the amount of wear and tear on the seat of one's jeans. Most of my jeans are now too scandalous to wear, and I'm gonna have to save up to buy some more :( About $50 should get more than enough from the thrift store in town, but I spent a lot on Christmas gifts and orz my bank account.

Maybe I'll poke around and see if I can get any commissions.
