Posted 3 years agoIf you're stumbling upon this page and have no idea how you got here, well, you're in good company because I have no idea how you got here either!
However, I want to say welcome and Happy New Year to one and all. It is a new year and I want to make some changes around here... more than the ones I have posted about in the past. You see, dear reader/ myself in the future looking back, I am what some would refer to as a "procrastinator." Every year around January, I get this itch to reinvent myself, to do something more with my interests and hobbies. I know I am not alone in that department and like so many others, I have never followed through to actually scratch that itch in any meaningful way. So, this year, I really want to try and put myself out into the community more and share more about myself as time goes by.
I hope that as time moves forward, I break the mold that I seem to get stuck in every year, but if I don't, at the very least I'll post another journal about it next year!
So, to quickly summarize what that first paragraph was trying to say: Watch this space. Perhaps you'll find something to amuse yourself with.

*Ahem*
Well yes, I have not ever really been active in this community... or any community for that matter,
but I have been here for quite some time and while I've not been the most active member, I really
do want to start giving back to the community that has opened me up to be the person I am today,
and in the spirit of the new year, I want to make a resolution that I will follow. Starting now, I want
to become more involved with you guys, I know what I can offer, I just don't know how to go about
doing that, so please if anyone has any suggestions on how to start contributing more, I am all ears,
Thank you for putting up with my "Lurker-y-ness" for the past several years, (Actually almost 11 if
my calculations are correct, and by 11 years I really mean not just here but everywhere on the internet)
I love you guys and what you do and really wish to be a part of it, so from the bottom of my heart,
THANK YOU ALL!
