Much like with  Lipton, end of June marks the anniversary of an important point in my furry fandom thingamajings.
Around this time of this month, three years ago, I first picked up a pencil and decided to draw.
Like, actually starting to draw, on my own terms. The only stuff I drew ever before were art class assignments in school, and the occasional doodle on my folders and paper margins throughout my educational career.
But then I found this fandom. <.<
And I wanted to create shit.
So I learned.
I read a few books, found some people who were a great help and good critics (you know who are <333), and started to progress, from my first black-and-white what-am-I-even-doing-heres to nowadays shenanigans, in colour and ink and with a better grasp of basic anatomy, I think. °^°

Ahum.
Thanks to all you kind watchers, silent or not, talking to me or just faving. You're the ones who keep my spirits up when I struggle with myself, and each new watcher still gives me a stupid grin that I carry around all day. X3
Also, great thankyous to my friends. Who have been supporting me throughout the months and years and still like me despite having seen what an unfortunate bag of emotions I can become. You're awesome. <3

I'm slowly starting to get my ability to smile back. Need to get away from my becoming of a cynic asshole. <.<

I've had a talk with one of my dearest lately who made the glorious suggestion that I should stop putting so much pressure and expectations on myself. It has been starting to break me apart slowly with all the other things happening in my life.
Especially with the weeklings, on which I'm hopelessly behind by now anyway. I will retract my plan to make one for every week of the year, but rather pick one everytime I want to do something smallish between the big stuff I always yearn for. (^ °o° )^

So, totally without pressure, deadlines, or anything, just when I really want to draw. Commissions, however, take precendence.

Upcoming things, for now, are:
Horsecock, Greyscalebitch and Cuntlessface®, a taur, visualisations of a couple of awful puns, and whatever I'm gonna do with my friends' characters. Mehehehe. >w>
Sprinkled with the occasional not-quite-weekling.

Back to drawing now~

I like the look so far, but there's still a hella lot to do until it looks smooth. So back to the old one for now. <.<

But really now.
Wednesday, when I made my last journal, was the first day in months I felt really great again. Powerful and ambitious.
On Thursday came the downfall. I'd like to leave the reason undisclosed here, so please don't ask. Right now I don't really feel like doing anything anymore, drained, and especially not able to draw properly.
I'm sure most of you don't expect me putting out art, but for those who do: It'll be slow.
Also please don't fret if I do not answer your comments and inquiries or quench them down quickly. My breathing space is really narrow right now and my introvert qualities are dominating. I'm sorry. :/

Gonna curl up in a blanket for some weeks.

Last week was hella unproductive. I've been hanging somewhere between depression and trying to not get onto my friends' nerves with my whining. Art slowed a bit. ^_^'
But now that the weather is getting warmer and sunnier, I'm starting to feel better with myself. Getting my art drive back and such. :V

I think you know my weeklings by now, and ... I wanted to have them as randomly picked characters from the FA, but that's somehow not very fun. So...

I'm opening for suggestions for characters that I draw for you for free. Approximately one per week for the rest of the year.
Each of you can post references to up to three characters here. It doesn't even have to be a character of yours, but I'd ask you to make sure that they allow fanart.
Weeklings are kept SFW.

I'm just asking for these things to post: Name of the character - species - reference(s) (I also allow written ones) - and, if it's not your own character, then a link to the owners page, please.

And since these drawings are free: It's wing-it, though I'll try to do a fitting topic. Also, if the result isn't what you expected, I won't make corrections. Also, there's no guarantee that I'll pick your character. Disclaimer over.

I'm still creeping around in bed, half alive, brain congested with the ground muck of the river Styx, but before I sink into total boredom, I thought I'd write up the announcements I announced.

First off, a bit advert for other people. >.>
 Lunakia does really fine art and is holding a big giveaway to..win...stuff. The more people enter, the more can be won.

 Ravica wants to give away spots in a full painting for a few active watchers as soon as she reaches 2000 followers. Go stalk. :D

Hrmm, back to personal stuff now.
First off, since most of you have been following me for less than a year, you should read my review for 2014 (and the beginning of 2015) if you haven't done already. It shortly describes my current struggle with life and art, and I do it every year at the Chinese New Year day... thingy.

Second, I scrapped all the art made by other artists, keeping the main gallery solely for what I draw (or write, for that matter). It hurts a little to put a lot of awesome art into a folder which's name basically says "stuff that no one wants", but until FA implements a proper folder system, I have no other viable option. :I
New uploads of other artists' works will stay in the main gallery for a short duration before being put into scraps as well.

Third, the weeklings ... erm, yeah, I will change that up a little. Instead of browsing for random characters, I will draw small pictures of yours instead. I will open a freebie journal sometime in the near future where you can promote your characters and I will pick from them once a week. Should save a bit brain power.

Fourth, I have Twitter now. I don't really have an idea whether I'm going to use it much, but you're invited to stalk me. Might get odd, though.

I'm turning 26 today while lying in bed, feeling sick like a domesticated canine of some sort.
