Hey guys, thought I should make a post on here as I haven't done anything active on here (even though I check my FA quite frequently) in a while. Just been sneaking around in the shadows. Things are well with me. Taking life day by day. Just had surgery, everything went very well, just healing n feeling better everyday.

Heard from my mom! ;u; All is going well, her surgery went smoothly, although shes in quite a bit of pain now n has a creepy tube sticking out of her stomach to help drain excess fluids... :C I wish I cud be there with her.. we managed to skype for half an hour which was SO nice c,: Almost started crying cause I miss her so much but seeing her smile made me feel lots better ♥

Thanks to everyone who sent warm wishes yesterday when I was borderline hysterical ♥ you guys are the best ;A;

Mom is scheduled to come home on Wednesday late in the afternoon but wont prolly be wanting to do anything till Thursday. She thinks shes getting dismissed from the Hospital tomorrow, where she'll be taken to a hotel and monitored and fed accordingly.

Cant wait till she comes home, Im gunna buy her like 3 dozen roses ♥

Any artists out there feel like free doodling for a recovery surgery? My momma is in the US right now getting surgery and I'd like to get her a few pieces of "get well soon" doodles. If anyone's interested note me ♥

Hoping all my wonderful friends and dear watchers have a great Christmas Holiday. Okal, Policat and I are having dinner tonight n are all looking forward to the feast ^u^

We opened half our pressies n OH BOY there was some really great things :D I got a onesie! ^Q^ so fantastic, HEEE, Okal also got a onesie ;p haha!

Tomorrow is going to be quiet day, preparing for our trip on the 26th and cleaning the house n making sure its nice for when we return on the 3rd.

Had about 30 kids :) not a bad turnout. Over all the kidlings loved Geiger and his creepiness, but there was a few that were nervous to come to the door but they were giggling. Also accidentally scared a mom and little girl thinking it was a teen coming to the door xD had to put the bowl of candy on the deck n shut the door for her to come get some, felt pretty bad lol it's so hard to see! Specially at night. Had two black lights beside me so I was all glowy n awesome xD ill post some pics on FB later tonight \o/

Wednesday:
Flights were good, fast and smooth. Got to Pitt n met up with  vanillaslice :3 Unloaded all my luggage at his place and took off for food to Red Lobster (mm soo good), meal was awesome, sea food was def fresher than it is back home, which I was expecting xD Did you know American restaurants don't offer Canadian debit card payments :I Soo laaame lol thanks kitty for spotting me xD




Thursday:
Official first day of AC ^u^! Got to the con n checked in, room was ok, nice view of the city/river. Stayed in the Westin, which I think I can honestly say, I will NEVER stay in that hotel again lol As nice as it is to be connected to the convention center, the whole waiting 20+ mins to go up the elevator sucked toilet seats :U Also cause I didnt have to tred outside I found myself missing a lot of the sites outside of the con :I (one those people that likes to site-see) x3

While Nilla got settled in the room, I went out to get my pre-reg badge. On my way there, I stumbled upon  emberzcat,  TenseiCat,  fangsy and  ezwolf ♥ Sooo excited to finally meet them! :DD After a massive amount of squeals and hugs, Emberz (or rather Embrawrz ♥) gave me my badges she did for me. They are so SO awesome! I got a lot of compliments on them n was sure to tell them who the artist was ;3 After some more chittering, I went to get my pre-reg badge, book, and schedule of the panels. While looking through the scheduler, I was approached by a Robin Hood fox, who gave me hugs, I looked at the fur strangely as I normally don't get approached and offered hugs lol and she whispered that it was  Temperance :D I first met Temperance at Fur-Eh, held in Edmonton, Alberta (Canada) I knew she would be at AC as well but didn't expect to see her so quickly :) very exciting to see her there, we talked a far bit, walked around, then eventually got separated by the sheer amount of people exiting/entering the escalators x3 I made my way up to the Zoo and saw Emberz and Tensei again :D Fangsy and EZ were missing though x3 you would think losing a a giant armored wolf and a tiger with a light-saber wud be hard xD

As the evening came around checked out the dance where I saw  wintersnowolf and her hubby  littlebluewolfleo so awesome meeting them :D! Also met  Crimes We danced for a bit then checked out the headless lounge, after a bit I made my way back out n saw  lanovran,  Kets and  strifeb n introduced myself. After a while I saw my ClockworkCreature group posing for pictures by the headless lounge <333 Ran (well.. hobbled) over to see them and introduce myself for the first time ^^ was so amazing meeting everyone finally ♥! We all headed over to the ballroom n shook our tails. Q dances so amazing @_@! Decided to go check on Nilla to see if he wanted to come out n party as well but he was too tired so I made my way back down to the lobby n met up with  Distiller (always such cheeky smiles! x3) and we went outside for him to have a smoke (yuck xP) But as we got to the crosswalk a cute blue striped tiger ran up to me n just stared, took a second for it to register but it was my  oztigah84 ♥ I freaked n clinghugged him x3 He asked if we wanted to go watch a furry themed drag performance and I totally jumped at the chance xD I LOVE drag queens haha ♥ The show was great! Def going back there, also is totally wicked that Ozzeh works there ^u^ From this point on the night got fuzzy xD All I remember is hanging out with Oz, Di, Meesa  ghettoimmortal and Jill  spyn0ff (Di's roomies, also yet very cool ladies), getting some punch from Ozzeh's room, going down to the waterfall step ramp.. area.. thing.. (o_O) Then remembering I left my tail up in Oz's room which turned out to be Di's room xD I cant believe I forgot my tail! lmao nice punch indeed Oz *waggles fringer at* After collecting it I went back to my room n crashed. Thursday was Amazing ♥





Friday:
Woke up at 10, felt great. Me n Nilla made our way down to the Dealers Den to look for awesome things of win, where I found myself a new tail ^^ (my old one was too long n thus dragged and got grotesquely dirty o~o) From there we went for food at the fish market, love that place, although quite expensive, the quality of food is worth it. Then made our way around the con again.

As evening came Nilla and I made our way to the Clockwork Creature pizza party at the Omni :D Was good to get outside of the Westin. So nice to meet everyone outside of suit ♥ I got my Clockwork's T-shirts from the awesome  manojalpa It was so surreal to finally be talking face to face with the people I had been talking to on the internet for over a year x3 We enjoyed pizza and had many laughs. Nilla and I then made our way to Images, where we met up with Distiller, Meesa and Jill. Ended up partying there for most the night until we had to take a certain drunk tiger back to his room. The night ended a lot sooner than I wanted it to but them's the breaks I guess.. Once back in the room, I noticed Nilla was snoring down every tree in the rainforest.. didn't get to sleep till 7:30am when I think my body just shut off finally.





Saturday:
Woke up at 11am n got ready for the day. Went to the dealers den again to see if I couldnt find anything else to buy :3 Ended up getting a fat little penguin backpack I named Pudge ^u^ he is so cute ♥ Went to the fursuit parade with Lano and Cindy (Emberz sissy :3), sooo awesome! cant believe all the suits this year! over a 1000 :D (and over 5000 people attended AC)

Nilla n I went out to Joe's Crab Shack that night, alls I have to say is if you like seafood OMG you Have to go there. The food was AMAZING n I ate to my little hearts content. Went back to the Westin to get ready for Oz's DJ act at his bar "There - Ultra Lounge" On the way I saw the Handsome Victor ( aikenwolf) n visited for a bit, gosh I love his suit ^u^ ♥ Also saw  autumn_sunrise in her very cool raptor suit :3 From there we made it to Oz's bar, partied there till about 1am we then made our way to Images again n stayed till closing. I ended up heading to bed shortly after, and Nilla stayed out for a bit longer. Think I managed to sleep for 45mins when I was woke up by the unrelenting continuation of the snoring of the rainforest. This time it only kept me awake till 5am as I strategized the quietest place in the room would be. Voting against sleeping in the tub in case someone had to make a visit, I decided on the closet :I it was small, cramped due to a safe mounted on the floor n claustrophobic but least it was quiet.





Sunday:
Woke up at 11am again. Was not in a good mood today. Lack of sleep was catching up to me not to mention my ankle was getting increasingly sore from all the walking (and being cramped into a closet all night) Decided to try n relax by going to the pool, was nice. From there we wandered around the Artist Alley for a bit n got a badge for Pudge. I am naming him my official accompany along AC chara :3 Hung around with Ozzeh some more n got to see  mattpanther from my home province walking around :D Nilla, Oz and I went for food at the panini place. Met up with the Handsome Victor again to watch the Closing Ceremonies. I had to fly out early Monday sos we ended up not sleeping till my flight. Watched hours of Avatar Korra on TV x3





Monday came n was time to header to the airport, requested a wheel chair for the connections, flights were easy, fell asleep immediately once on the plane to Toronto x3 Travel is a whole lot simpler when you get pushed everywhere xD I even got bumped to the front of the customs line hehehe yay no waiting for hours xD Once I got home I was greeted by my momma with a large bouquet of dark pink rose and a pre-cooked chicken ♥ shes so awesome. Feels good to be home, I missed my mate and my cats.

Over all I met so many amazing individuals this trip it was nothing but awesome, only a few things that have to be ironed out. Look forward to going to next years AC, hopefully I will have my suit by then n can hang out more with my CC group ♥

Weekend was good, although on the first afternoon/evening it was blizzarding xD but guess you cant be all surprised when camping in the mountains, least there was no freaking fire ban x3 There was also a momma grizzly seen around are camp ground a day before we got there so we were on extra alert in case she wanted to come say hi xD

The next day was super nice, we went fishing (i got sooo sun burnt! lol) n 4x4ing to try to get to the summit, for which we didn't make it lol was WAY too muddy, luckily there was a big truck to haul us out or it would have been a long painful walk to the ranger station 4km away (i have a badly sprained ankle for those that don't know x3) The clay was so soft in this one area that we sunk down 3feet haha, wicked.

The nights (and well most the day too) were followed by drinking, just it increased a tad in the evening :P The dinners we cooked were sooo yummy! lots n lots of steak :o,,, man I love steak. haha.

Late Sunday night we (well Jeff and I) thought we heard some sort of large cat in the distance growl hissing across the lake :x that freaked me out way more than the bears in the area, cats are sooo sneaky/crafty, and they can also stalk from the trees Dx We ended up lighting a bear banger to deter whatever was around us. Didn't help that most of the camp sites we empty either, but was nice cause we didn't have to deal with annoying children or other adults being loud.

During the trip we saw the following animals :)

beaver (like 50lbs! thing was so huuuge)
muskrat
bald eagle
2 swans
whiskey jacks (constantly tried to steal out buddys dogs kibble haha lil monsters)
whole bunch other type birds/ducks
heard owls but it was super dark so couldn't see them :/ they sounded big though
loons
squirrels
and on the way home we drove past a momma grizzly with her cub :) so cute, dont think this was the same one that was seen around our area as it was a fair distance away from camp.

Got back yesterday but only had time to write now.

Well for being the first con in Edmonton it had quite a good turn out of con-go-ers, although I think the staff were a little struck off guard as there wasn't much planned to include everyone.. so other than the 8 tables at the dealers den, and the few information meetings/sessions, everyone was left to do things on there own. Normally I would have not cared as I could have entertained myself by going to west-ed but having an injured ankle and unfortunately knowing quite a few people in Edmonton, I was stuck to the hotel.... sure I could have gone to west-ed not dressed up n it would have been fine, but wth is the point of going to a con where you cant dress up? so sadly I spent most the time in my hotel room, having naps n visiting with my mom. Good thing she came with me or I would have been more bored to tears.

I sure hope that next years fur-eh will be better planned out, cause frankly I found this to be quite the waste of money. It was nice however to see that I'm not the only fur in Alberta but again most of the others are from Calgary/Edmonton. It was also nice to see all the suits, makes me miss AC..
