Hey guys.

So its been about a year now, and I have gotten to the point in my life where I have decided to retire from the glorious lifestyle of being Rykken. I already had posted a hiatus journal a year ago, but this is just making things a little more solid than a shaky "Maybe"

As of today, my page and my sona are to be retired until further notice. Her likeness, art, name, you name it. Its all still mine to own, and keep. But there will be no more posting of pictures or journals. Any outstanding commissions I may have had are cancelled, and I will be moving on from here on out. I just have too much to deal with in real life, that escaping to this fantasy just isnt possible anymore.

Snag the art while you can, it will be coming down in the next month or so.

I am posting this journal to let all of my watchers, commenters, shouters and friends know that I am very thankful for all of the love and attention I have received on this site over the past few years. I've got almost 45k pageviews, over 1k watchers, and it's crazy to see those numbers go up and up. So thank you again.

But, it is with lots of thought and deliberation that I've decided that I am going to be taking a hiatus from FA, for a number of reasons. I've had a lot of stress and anxiety, and what used to be a reprieve from that has now become a source of it. This isn't any one fur's fault, and I don't want anyone to single themselves out as the cause. Maybe someday I'll be able to come back and see myself as Rykken once more, but for now, I need to step back and figure out who -I- am as a person first.

But not just any computer!! With a TON of help from my absolutely wonderful friend  snougar, I was able to actually select parts and build my own!!! It was an amazing and enlightening experience, and I would love to do it again sometime!

I am really thankful that I have friends like  snougar, who spend a lot of their personal time helping me out with tons of different issues every day, from sitting for 7 hours walking me through how to build the computer on Skype, to helping me make good decisions to help me as a person. To all of my friends, I thank you~ But  snougar, you absolutely deserve a shout out in my opinion.

So I received Beta access for Destiny, and the only thing I can say is HOLY FUCKING CRAP.

I am in love with this game. Everything about this beta is wonderful to me. From the concept art you browse as you await the install, to the wonderfully orchestrated music playing in the background. I also managed to snag one of the few "Ghost" Editions of the game!! Awesome sauce!!!

So! I just wanted to bump away the "Selling" journal, seeing as absolutely nobody is interested. Which is ok! I mostly wanted to talk about friends in this little journal. I have a ton of people that I talk to, whether it be on Skype, F-List, or just through notes, and I am always looking to make new friends and such! But I have a quick question for all of you guys, its just some food for thought! When you look at your friends list, do you see a lot of friends? Or are they more acquaintances, friends in passing, friends when -they- need a friend, so on? I took a look at myself this New Years (tacky I know) and saw I had a lot of names, but not a lot of friends. I would love to be your friend too, if you felt the same way I do!

Really quick, know what really bugs the crap out of me? When people ignore your notes. Its like, "I can see you read my note you jerk off, not going to respond??" Seriously. Wouldn't it be easier to just send back a little note?

(In that response, I also notice the hypocritical me in there, seeing as I ignore notes from time to time. I, however, only ignore the notes that say "Hi Rykken how are you." Instead of anything meaningful to say, like wanting to be my friend)

Hey all!!

Due to circumstances beyond my control, I am being forced to move out of my house in a few months. However, in order to do so, I need to finish paying off some of the bills that I have floating around the house, and to do that I am going to see if I can sell some of the stuff I have lying around the house!!! So today, I noticed something wrong with my dog, Amber. She has this black looking thing on her tooth, and after taking her to the vet, they said they need to immediately remove the tooth, since it's got a massive abscess. Total cost for the visit including the surgery would be upwards of 600 dollars. Im absolutely a wreck, I miss my dog and I dont know how im going to pay for all that.

Just had to vent a bit, sorry. Hope you all havea better day than I have had

Thats right!!! Its my birthday today! I turn 22 years old, getting old! This shows me progress with my cancer treatment, I was told I wasnt going to last this long but LOOKIT ME NOW!!! Im feeling better than I have in a while, I have been reunited with an old friend of mine, things are looking up!

So!!

I decided to go with the Samsung Galaxy S4 Active! Huzzah!! Now to learn a totally different operating system!!!

That being said, I am thinking about selling my iPhone 4! Its white, 16GB, and spent all of its life in an OtterBox Defender case!!

Anyway!!! I'm trying to decide on a new cellphone for myself and am having a hard time doing so. I currently have an iPhone 4, and want to upgrade. I absolutely do not want another apple product, I've had such shitty luck with customer service, slow operating system, fragile product, etc. So I want y'all's opinion!! I was thinking about getting either the Samsung Galaxy s4, or the Samsung Galaxy S4 Active! I'm open to other ideas as well! Tell me what you think! I want to go shopping this afternoon for a new one so after work I'll read and see what y'all had to say.

I will be taking a small break from the Internet, starting today. I have been over taxed, getting over stressed, and overall am just unhappy. She regrets to inform you that she is going to have to take a fairly long hiatus, for rehabilitation from both the breast cancer she has been fighting, and also from a recent car accident she was in. She is fine, but needs to have some space, and checking on here isn't going to help her out right now. She also is asking that people speak to her through emails and notes here on this site, as she will not be checking her phone any longer. She cannot afford to keep receiving texts and she doesn't have the ability to type back just yet. She shares her love for everyone, and is sorry for get continued absence.

I haven't been around for a while, as some of you may have realized. I haven't uploaded any new art, an I've hardly talked to anybody in a month or so. I do apologize to those who feel neglected, it was not my intention. I had a life crisis happen, and it kept me from getting online and checking in. I am really struggling, in all honesty.

For those of you who don't know yet, I'll announce it here. I was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer 2 weeks ago. It runs in my family, I've honestly been expecting it. I just didn't expect it this soon... My past family and friends that have had it take such an uplifting look towards their breast cancer, they fought it off and are still around. Their lives changed for the better. Myself, however, am a miserable wreck, who can hardly get out of bed in the morning, it's harder to look at myself in the mirror. I feel like I'm on a timer. I lost my health insurance on my birthday, so I am relying on a possible job promotion to reinstate my insurance, if I last that long. I can't afford treatment right now on my salary.

Anywho. I don't want to alarm anybody or have someone start a "Save Rykken" fund. This journal is not a pity journal, or "help me I'm dying" journal. I'm just explaining to my friends here of the scenario. I'll keep y'all posted as things developed, but for now, I need to retire to bed. Goodnight, and take care.
