I, like most other furs, are going to FA:U, and will be strapped for cash for the rest of the month pretty much! XD So I will have this the week after, on June 3rd at 9 p.m. I will be there at 8 p.m. to talk with the staff and help set up for everything. :3 If you would like to come in early and hang before the festivities start up, feel free. ^w^ That way, you can get to know the staff. The ending time is whenever. They are open until 2 in the morning. XD You are more than welcome to wait it out, but most I'm expecting are to leave around midnight.

!!Description of the Place!!



If you have ever been to a Hookah Lounge, then you should know what it looks like. For those of you that haven't been to a Hookah Lounge, or are expecting something different, I shall go into detail. The setting is simple, couches, mini tables, a bar for the hookah to be stored, and red walls with red lights and simple white lights on them. If you want to take pictures, bring a camera with flash, because it is REALLY dark in lounge. XD

Since it is a Hookah Lounge, there HAS to be hookah! XD So the flavors are as follows:

!!Prices!!



Yes yes, the word no one likes to hear; prices! But these are good prices I must say. First off, it's CASH ONLY! There is a Chase bank across the street to use, but they can NOT accept cards of any kind! It is $18 per hookah, $3 per additional person on the hookah. When it comes to sharing, there is one bowl that has 4 hoses, a few that have 3, many that have 2, and you can request you own with one hose if you are not looking to share.



It is mandatory you buy a drink! Soda(Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, Perrier, Apple Juice, Orange Juice, Snapple Iced Tea, Non Alcoholic Egyptian Beer, and Bottled Water) is $3. Red Bull and Monster energy drinks are $5. Tea(Herbal, Moroccan, Egyptian with mint leaves) is $5 as well.



I personally would recommend, unless you are doubling up with a friend, that each person brings at least $25. This will cover the hookah, drink, tax, and tip. Tax is 15%. Please be gracious with tips! The staff works really hard to make sure everything is perfect for their customers!!



!!Other details!!



They have given me the o.k. for food, so brings snacks! I might make small sandwiches for people, if I get enough cash in time. XD Also, as this is a hookah lounge, you must be 19 or older to come in. BRING ID!!! Prepare to stay late, as I mentioned earlier, they close at 2 in the morning! The hookah they have is granted to burn for at least an hour, but I have had luck where it has burned for 2 and a half hours, and that's with sharing with 3 others! Be mindful, if you come early, and want more hookah, you must bring an extra $15 for another round of hookah! If you want, you can find someone to share with you, but keep the money issue in the back of your minds very clear!! Carpooling is also your best friend! If someone is willing to drive people around, be mindful and give them something for gas. I personally don't have a car. As for getting home, for people coming from NYC for this meet, getting too and from is simple. Take the train from Penn Station to Babylon! Bakuram will pick you up from there, and drive you to Islip for the lounge! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE provide at least $5 gas money, since he may need to pick up a few people from Babylon!! But if you have a car, and are on Long Island(or willing to drive from NYC for this event <3), you just gotta get to the address listed above in the info box! ^w^ The location of this lounge is great! The lounge itself may be dry, but if you want to get a drink, there are SEVERAL bars within WALKING distance of the lounge! Also, Hoyle's Ice Cream Shoppe is around there as well! I will list more shops when I go back next week to talk with the manager again ^^ But there is alot around, such as restaurants, bars, and even little places for photo opportunities!

Yeah.. Kinda never did a journal... Oh well. XD

I am not doing much.. College has taken over my life, however I plan on doing a nice yaoi comic about my 2 characters Bryce/Broken Infinity and Vex/VX3. Why? Only cuz I need to draw them, and I wanted to draw them in a comic.

Also, you know how I know college is consuming my life? Cuz I am there now! As I am typing this journal, I am sitting in my cafe at my campus... And let me tell you, it is BUTT FUCKING COLD!!!!!

Oh well.. It happens.. Then again, winters in NY suck!!! >_< But that is o.k... I need to work on my drawings, and make my comic. XD Chat later ^^
