So uh, yeah. Howdy. How's everyone doing? My days are rather bleh because health problems up the wazoo (a lot of pain related stuff) but still breathing, so that's a thing. And continuing to get commissioned art because I'm an art whore. What can I say? xP

Also increasingly lonely. That's a thing too, bleh. Yay for half-optimistic, half-pessimistic journal entries! *thumbs up*

Salutations!

I'm dropping some nuggets of lovely information here for those following me that are interested in the fact I am creating a Visual Novel. As of current I have the Prologue/Chapter 0 if you will completed, I am currently going through cleaning it up and making sure it's all to my liking but realistically I am on a set path to have the demo out there sometime next month. I also have a good portion, perhaps 25% of Chapter 1 completed, although it'd only be the first draft of all the collected scenes so I still have a ways to go with that.

Now, the problem I am facing. Yes, I basically have an entire script ready to shove into Renpy and get going. The problem isn't the writing and getting this stuff chugged out, although the state of my hands do make it rather difficult to do so. The actual thing giving me anxiety is the assets that will go along with the package. As of right now I have sprites to be made, the artist in question I have already paid, although I am not sure of an ETA and I am hoping I'll hear something from them soon. The music... well I won't lie, a good portion of the music starting out is going to be royalty free stuff, things I can use without getting my ass reamed. But I do have a track being made by a friend, and am in talks with another musician in hopes of getting a custom piece made by him as well. But I haven't heard back yet so yeah. Wee bit anxious.

The other thing I am kind of lingering over on the inside, though not as big as the things above, is using Renpy itself. I do have mild experience with it but I'm not very well trained in some of the special effects or things I can do with it, so I'm hoping I don't bugger up the demo right from the bat. I don't expect it to be perfect, I'm sure everyone knows that perfection isn't something you really attain. It's more about getting better day by day. But I am hoping for at least a certain standard with this first real showing of what I want to make for you guys. I want it to be a good result. ;w;

So yeah! That's my spiel. If all goes well and on time, I'm looking to have the demo released within the first half of October. More journals and stuff to come just in case if something changes. Laters! ^^

And there is no way I can possibly put myself through playing it again seeing as my attempt to do so had a certain character telling me "You really want to undo this perfect ending? That would be so cruel." God dammit.

Also, I've been going crazy adding new images to my favorites. I think it's becoming evident who one of my favorite characters is. xD

I need concept art for my Visual Novel that I am designing. I need that sort of push and inspiration. I do have an artist for another project but this one in particular I need someone similar to say "Nukde"'s style, given the apocalyptic/thriller-style genre.

Like, someone who can do 8 or 16 bit sprites, or a program that will let me easily do that? Just curious. xD

It's still coming @ my fic... just I've been failing miserably at staying consistent. I have 4,000 words written for the chapter yet for some reason I can't just buckle down for at least another hour or two and just finish the dang chapter which is really frustrating myself. At this point I don't even know if people are still interested in it. :( I hope so.

And in terms of needing an artist, there's been a project I've had for about two months that I haven't been able to progress on because every single artist I've tried to find is either closed, asking WAY too much for their art, or very hard to communicate with. It's just incredibly frustrating being in my shoes right now; if I had all the money in the world, sure this would be no problem but I'm struggling to get by and I have no idea how to progress with what I want to do, being in this position.

Really I am looking for somebody who does commissions for a fair price that are open right now. Where the quality is good. Like, Visual Novel / Morenatsu-level sort of good. If anybody knows anyone then please, I could use the help in finding them.

Okay so we've improved from a whole month waiting for the next chapter to three weeks... well its a start at least.

Chapter 3 I've made progress on. I am just before the actual sex scene and you'll have to forgive me, its been a while since I've written a sex scene in fanfiction so it might come across as a bit rusty but you guys have been awesome viewers/watchers so I know you won't judge too harshly. :) Hope you guys will enjoy it! I would say it'll be up in about 2-3 days... don't hold me too securely to that, I'm giving it 100% but you know how I am with my timing and consistency, ehe.

EDIT 3/17/14: Wow I totally jinxed myself and I feel like shit. XD Sorry guys, I swear to god this isn't on hiatus.

The 1 Month delay between chapters was completely unintentional although still my fault because I'm still not very good at managing my time well. See, next to this I also have a Cardfight Vanguard Romance fic going on over at fanfiction.net and these are my two major writing projects. Making sure to alternate and complete chapters between them can be pretty demanding, especially because I set the bar really high for myself. I don't like putting out lackluster stuff, I put 110% in what I do. Which admittedly makes me somewhat demoralized over on the Vanguard front since I don't feel many people are digging what I'm doing with that, but what can I really do besides keep going since its a story I conceptualized and fell in love with? Really that's probably the most important thing, writing something that yeah... the readers will enjoy, but also something that I feel inspired and passionate about writing too. Future Card Buddylust and my Vanguard fic over there I am both enthused over.

Besides that, there's of course IRL stuff I have to deal with and there's my Youtube channel I maintain on a daily basis too, being a Let's Player. Call me a full blown entertainer and people lover, or trying to be anyways. :P In any case that's essentially it: A Youtube Channel to maintain, my IRL life to handle, and two different fanfics I am equally motivated to push and make some of the best in their respective fandoms.

One would argue I'm trying to do too much. I totally disagree. :D I'm just stupidly ambitious!

So to be quite honest I didn't expect the first chapter of Buddylist to hit off so well like it did. I expected maybe one or two comments, perhaps a single favorite, but its actually becoming quite popular and its a pleasant surprise. Its also got me realizing that I need to be pretty consistent with my chapter uploadings so I don't give any sort of impression that I'll never update.

So with that being said I would expect Chapter 2 by this weekend I'd reckon. Besides this I have one other card fight fanfiction project that I'm working on so I have to balance between both of them as well as some other life priorities. But I do have to thank everybody who's favorited the fic or are watching me now. I hope to make Chapter 2 just as great as the first one with our stud of a dragon. ;)

Anime Reality House, or ARH for short. It is a place that exists everywhere and no where all at once. How that is no one but the gods of this realm of existence knows. And they won't tell anyone the truth of this place.

Who brought you here and why is also unknown, but many feel that it was the will of these supposed Gods. They don't say. And no one really knows who they are anyway to actually ask. Others feel that people get brought here because the reality that they came from and the reality that is ARH crossed and they got dragged along for the ride. And several other theories float about on how people come here.

One thing is certain, you can not leave. At least no one knows how to leave. Sometimes people just disappear as mysteriously as they appear. But how it is done no one can say. Maybe those gods take them from here? Maybe realities meet again and they are dragged out. People assume that they are taken home but who is to say, no one can account for where these people end up.

Will the romances from Mass Effect 1 continue in Mass Effect 2?
Part of telling a great action / adventure story is having a love interest to give deeper meaning and character development to the relationships. So much like in the original Mass Effect, you will be able to develop relationships into love interests over the course of the game.

Will there be new romances to pursue?
Yes. You may see an appearance of your love interest from Mass Effect 1, and there will be completely new characters that can be developed into the love interest for Mass Effect 2.

And the two most common questions: Did you fix the slow elevators? and Will there be alien love scenes?
Yes and yes. We actually had our new level transition system on display in the demo, which replaces elevators and other transitions from the first game. The new system did its job perfectly in the demo it was a natural part of the visual narrative and went by fast enough that no one noticed it even happened. As for whether there will be alien love in an elevator, youll have to play to find out.

Well the fact they said yes to "Alien love scenes" sounds promising. Probably just going to be limited to the Asari. I'm not complaining but come on, what about the turians and krogran? *sad face* Haha well the game will be awesome either way.

Star Fox Fic ~ SF: Undiscovered

This fanfiction is going to be my new "Smut Project" and although I don't expect a big reception right now, hopefully consistent posts and this being an interesting read will draw some people over and be intrigued by the story. I can say right now that viewer interaction is going to be emphasized because at the end of each chapter you will be able to pick between a few options of what happens next. Note that although some choices may be minor, others can be major plot effecters and influence the main character's romantic interests.

Oh, which leads me to another thing...

There will be a total of four to five+ choices when it comes to the decision of who the main character wants to approach for romantic relations -excluding her sexual encounters, I mean a ROMANTIC one-. Each choice will be determined at different points in the fic and I hope to get everyone incorporated in the fic so that you will have as many choices as possible, if not from all in the list of characters that I'll show shortly.

Story: It revolves around a 17-year old short-haired fox named Kira who has clairvoyant abilities and suffers from cases of hallucinations and pseudo-reality. Sounds somewhat like "Indigo Prophecy/Fahrenheit" I know but that isn't the case. Although I won't reveal much yet I will state that the new enemy that will eventually threaten the Lylat System has a peculiar interest in Kira and will stop at nothing to apprehend her and use her powers, visible and dormany alike, to their liking.

Now although this is a NC-17 fic and will have lots of sex, I am going to balance it out with plenty of action and drama too. That way I can satisfy all the viewers as well as myself.

And yes... I do plan on trying to show some sex scenes with your favorite characters @ the perverts out there. XP.

I do hope whoever sees this journal or checks up on my fA page finds an interest in what I plan on doing. It's a story/lemon I will continuously build upon and I hope you guys, the eventual readers, will keep it alive too.
