Status Update - Health and Heart
Posted 10 years agoHey guys, I know I haven't been super active on here lately.
I've had several old health problems kick back up. My joints are doing some very wonky things - primarily knees, but also the spinal cord, which is neither safe nor comfortable. I had an anxiety attack so bad I was incapacitated at work. My blood sugar issues are getting worse. There's more than that, but I won't state it unless it needs to be. I'll just say that I haven't been doing much lately, nor had the means/desire to. Both my body and my head have been aching in their own way.
My long-term girlfriend and I broke up, as well. I mean, I guess six and a half months is really that long-term, but for someone like me? That's the longest I've ever gone, and to be honest, I wasn't expecting it at all, and it rattled me quite badly. I haven't really done anything this last week and a half except stay home and throw myself into video games and eat a lot of things I shouldn't for someone with my condition.
Things are starting to look up, though. I'll probably be headed back to physical therapy soon, and my head is getting clearer as time passes. Hope to post more soon, friends.

Posted 10 years agoMy brother is just entering the furry fandom, and he's seeking a maker to do an ARTISTIC FREEDOM PANDAREN PARTIAL for around $500 or under. He's aware that's low, but I'm also aware it's totally doable for newer makers. I got my girl for $530 and she's way more complicated than a panda. Now, my question is -
Do my lovely followers have any idea on some newer makers who'd be willing to do this?
The maker I got my girl from is several years more experienced now and so of course their pricing reflects their experience. They're a possibility still but would involve me chipping in a LOT.

Posted 10 years agoHey nerdlings! I'm semi-back from FWA. I'm at my brother's house still in GA so I'm still away from home and I'm still a little busy, but I have a little more downtime.
I've started fresh on this account, as you may have noticed - all old submissions were moved into Scraps, and all my FWA art was put up! Expect a lot more traditional art from me. Unexpectedly I discovered over the weekend that I absolutely ADORE traditional inking and I'm coming to love marker work as well! I did decent enough in the AA that I plan on selling again next year, which means I'm gonna want lots of practice! I'll be putting up some basic commission prices over the week.
Additionally, if you're looking to find me other places, you can check out my tumblrs [rythos = main, puppyspawprints = art] or my weasyl [rythos] ! Look forward to more activity from me this year as time progresses. I'm looking for it to be an art-heavy 2015. :3

I think I watch a few too many REALLY active people, but... how can I not?? There's just too much talent out there, friends. Far too much talent.

I won't have enough time with my suit to practice for the Dance Competition, nor am I confident enough in my skills to participate in it at such a big con. Not when freaking MANGUSU is there every year. xD

Usually if you scream I will turn to look, but that's a little loud, ahhaha. Try my name, it's fairly unique, or if I'm in suit try calling "Sheep!" or something else that would get a border collie's attention. :D
What/where will you be eating?
There's a sushi place in the mall nearby (I think it's closer to the old con site? but oh well) that we'll be hitting up a lot. Not sure about other than that! The same pub we went to last time, I don't recall what it's called.
Can I come with you for food/fun/etc?
As long as everyone in the group approves since we'll be going most places together. ^^
Can I draw in your sketchbook?
Oh, yes! I love that since I've been introduced to it.

Posted 13 years agoHey guys. I had a really really busy life and I just wasn't arting much and then I lost my tablet pen and I didn't wanna LOOK at art and klasdjflajf I haven't even been able to hit up furmeets lately. :< But I'm back now, gaiz.
I'm doing an art challenge starting today (3rd) to draw a picture every day until the end of the month... I'll probably pick a couple challenges and pull from all of them for ideas? We'll see.
Point being, I'm back. -waves hands- I nuked everything so if you had a journal or a submission I was supposed to see up, I didn't see it. I doubt it, but just in case! I had over 5000 messages. It was crazy.

I SPENT it (lol, late) at a party with some other furries!
4. Did anyone close to you die?
No, luckily.
5. What countries did you visit?
I didn't this year, that was last year, silly.
6. What would you like to have in 2012 that you lacked in 2011?
More finances, and more friends. :3 And my PARTIAL! <3

September 14th - the day I realized I was a furry.

Getting my first job, at Petco. <3

Uhm, I… don't really know. I guess how suckish I did at my classes.

Just normal, unless you count new cavities.
