I knew this has been floating around for awhile but I've been busy with stuff and didn't have the motivation to do this until now. Instead of doing Ryuen, I decided to do the characters I RP the most besides him: Krissy the busty flareon and Crystalis the fangirlish gardevoir.
Krissy Threcer
Personal:
-Like any eevolution, Krissy was born an eevee. However due to her lively and rambunctious nature her parents predicted that she would be a flareon when she went through her rite of passage which occurs when she goes through puberty.
-For those of you that are curious about her measurements, she's 38D-30-36.
-She's quite the passionate lady when it comes to the things she loves.
-She's one of those 'mon that are hands-on in any activity. She's also a do-it-your-selfer.
-She's quite bi but she only lets friends know about...although it's been known to slip every once in awhile.
Family:
-She has a HUGE family that rivals that of Ryuen's biological family.
-Her mother is a flareon herself while her father is a jolteon. Her mum is a gutsy gypsy while her father is a renowned treasure hunter and master locksmith.
-Her Auntie Clarice is a costume designer and uses her along with Ryuen to try out new designs with stellar results. This explains Ryuen's interesting outfits...
-Krissy never has trouble finding something that she needs with her family, since their walks of life vary greatly.
School:
-She shows great promise in the arena as well as her academics; In other words, don't let her blonde hair fool you as she's more clever than her parents combined. She plans to learn to be a dancer as well as take a chance in the league.

-Her father is Markham Clyphus, a judge for the various circuits. Her mother Jade is a popular and energetic Broadway starlet.
-Ryuen was adopted into her family after a court battle with his biological parents. She's happy that she has him as a brother ever since.
-Her family due their lifestyles live like nobles and are treated as such.
-Despite this, she wasn't raised spoiled due to having great friends.
-Her extended family live far away but they keep in close contact.

-For all the fantasizing she does she does do her work and is doing very well. Quite a surprise to Ryuen and friends...

-In the arena she's a deceptively crafty combatant using her varied moveset to confound opponents and hit them when they least expect it.

-Like Krissy she's bi. When she opened up to her parents her mother's exact words were "I was worried about you! I thought you'd never come out of the closet!"

Part 1
Izumicon. An anime convention in Oklahoma City, OK. By a staggering coicidence, that's where I live. So this brave little eevee catboy decided to check it out marking the first time I've been to a con EVAR! The result: I enjoyed it!
Yes, people did dress up in anime costumes. Many of them were well done and thought out. Some...did surprise me. I did meet some new friends though!
The scary part of the convention was the costume contest. Some "performances" disturbed me as it has yaoi slash. One was quite...retarded.
But at least nobody glomped me. I did get asked where I got my cat ears only to explain that it was from an old costume. I was also called brave to wear them! Hehe!
Well, this brought much appreciation for anime...but most of the cosplayers were of popular anime such as Naruto, Bleach, and Death Note. At least there weren't any DBZ cosplayers...I would've grabbed the kunai sold there and stabbed them. And I wouldn't even care that if it was wooden or not!
But anyways, I'm going again tomorrow as I bought a two day pass! I'm also going again next year! I just hope I can grab some fox ears and tail...or maybe even some eevee ears and tail...hmmm...

Part 2
I would've gotten there earlier...hell I even woke up early so I could get ready for church only to remember that it was Daylight savings time so I was early for church! I thought that was a stroke of good karma...only to manage to score a flat tire and I had to change it out for a flat...because of my pitiful upper body strength it took me awhile to get the lugnuts but my ingenuity got me out of it...30 minutes later. After rushing back and asking my dad if I could borrow the truck under the premise that I was going to work he agreed and after changing my clothes and washing my hands I went to my usual IHOP for my usual meal. THEN I was off back to the con. Thanks to my misfortune earlier it was two hours before the con was over and the dealer's room was about to close up. Taking advantage of the deals going on I picked up 4 pins, a Castlevania Soundtrack CD, and buying yet more pins for one of my newfound friends whose name I forgot. In the last hours of the con I got to see Vic Mignogna, the guy who does Ed's English voice in Ful Metal Alchemist. I would've gotten his autograph but at the time I didn't cared. I now regret it as it would've made a nice addition to the collection of stuff I hoard. I did get to see him live. TWICE. I enjoyed it!
I also discovered that Izumicon was in its first year! So many firsts this weekend! My first con ever, first time to see someone famous, and the first anime convention here in Oklahoma in its first year! Man, this weekend rocked! My only regret is I didn't go Friday when it started and I should've gotten Vic's autograph.
I would've also gotten other autographs like Greg Ayers (Voice of Son Goku), Monica Rial (Voice of Lumiere from Kiddy Grade), Chris Sabat (Voice of Vegeta and Piccolo) and two artists from Playstation Magazine Jason and Heather Martin.
I'm still in awe that I did my first convention...I went as a catboy! Hopefully next year I can go as a foxboy or get better cat ears and tail. And maybe a school boy costume...nah male chinese costume. I'll need a really good excuse to tell my parents as to why I'm wearing a costume to work...
Hmmm...I'm gonna see if I can do a live even on Club 69 Radio next year at Izumicon. I'll need to plan this out and see what I can do...I do know this: I'll be needing LOTS of anime music to play as I'm wanting to do this on an event stream.
I would say something enlightening, but it was awhile since it first came up while I was driving about...why do the best ideas come up while I'm driving! All I can say is: I'm not a true otaku, but I'm a game freak, a nerd, a dork, and a geek and yes it is possible to be all of that.

Pretty much. Typical teenager and all...but he does have his secrets...

The jewel on his forehead is blue instead of red. Also he has anime-style hair!

If you consider bishounen-grade body types to be sexy then yes. He tends to attract gay guys and yaoi-lovers though...

It's hard to anger him but when he does, it's akin of him going insane...ya rly. :V

He has the courage to take charge, but in all essence he's more of a team player than one to bark out orders.

+ What is the main aspect of her personality? +
He's quiet. TOO quiet. He's you're typical shy, socially-inept nerd...unless you get to know him. Then you'll see that he's a magician and musician who's considerate of others.

+ Does your OC have a family of any sort? If so, are they still alive? +
Biologically, his family is alive. He just doesn't live with them anymore. Instead he lives with his adoptive parents. He still keeps in contact with his biological family, but never with his parents. See the next question for more details.


+ Has she encountered any traumatizing events? +
Besides the occasional close call with bullies, he had to deal with a legal battle as to who would raise him. You see, when he evolved into an espeon at his 12th birthday his psychic powers were more than average and his jewel was blue instead of the regular red of espeons. Those two factors frightened his parents and they started to isolate him more. In the minds of his parents, he became a failure because he evolved into something they could not understand; they wanted him to evolve in the traditional way of evolution stones. Despite this idea, they found that they could isolate him and raise him to be a cash cow so they can retire and live off of him. Upon seeing that opinion in his parents' mind this hurt and angered him to the point of running away. He sought refuge in one of four families he could confide with: the Clyphus. Upon hearing and actually seeing what his parents thought of him and what he would be raised to be, both Markham (pronounced Markum) Claire Clyphus fought for custody of the espeon. After two weeks of court battles one of Ryuen's latent abilities kicked in; the ability to "demonize" or exaggerate the bad qualities of one's personality to the point that they became the target of hatred. This triggered when the espeon was forced to take the stand and was constantly hounded by his parents lawyer. Soon not only him but his parents started to yell and demean him to the point that the judge got angry and held them in contempt of the court. While all of this was going on, Ryuen was hard-pressed to deactivate his demonization and soon his parents lept up to grab him and do unspeakable things to him. It took the bailiff and three other officers to detain them and when that was done the judge declared that they were no longer fit to raise their son and custody was released from them. After that, the Clyphus family gained custody of him, but it already left scars in the poor espeon's mind...

+ What was probably the best time in his/her life so far? +
Ironically, one event that stands out is what sparked the previous event; his evolution. When his 12th birthday came around, the families of his closest friends came together and gathered their family members so they could celebrate. Even relatives both biological and not that Ryuen haven't met in years came around! All of this plus his friends singing him "Happy Birthday" was more than enough to make him light up in happiness. Literally. Soon he emerged as an espeon and even to this day he calls his evolution "The best bloody birthday present I was ever given! ...yo!"

Yes and looking despite having crushes on three women, two of them being his closest friends. However, they all don't seem to mind that he's still looking...open relationship much? :o

Like previously mentioned he has crushes on three women and two of them are his closest friends. All three of them know of each other as his feelings for them and they've also developed feelings for each other! It's one really weird love group...or the makings of an interesting orgy...

He claims that he is and the way he acts proves it. HOWEVER, in truth he lost his virginity to one of his closest friends, but he'll never tell who though...

He does, but he's rather subtle about it and in his words: "Subtly is a lost art; it's lost to everybody!"

Does being wanted by bullies and criminal syndicates count? Yeah...criminals want him dead because he's your typical hero in a war against villainy. And he's not alone too!
Also he's wanted by gay guys because they truly think that he's gay but he's not...wait, does that count? O_o

-He's socially inept like any stereotypical nerd would be. He rivals Quintin in this category...
-He's innocent and naive and he's paranoid because of this fact...
-He has self-esteem/confidence issues. This is tied with his poor social-skills...

-He's a VERY powerful psychic! More than average thanks to his intelligence...
-He's agile and flexible. He uses his speed and flexibility to dodge attacks and fake out attackers and bullies alike.
-He's a scoundrel. This could be seen as a bad thing but he revels at what it entails...
-He'll use anything at his disposal: every day items, friends, social functions, alcohol, even authority figures and the law! If it's tangible in anyway, he can use it. He's that resourceful; he's know as the asian "McGuyvor"! He'll use everything including the kitchen sink! "Sweet! A kitchen sink! I think I can put this to good use... ;3"
-He can conjure up anything from his person as long as it's not bigger than what he's pulling out of (Like something from his pocket or shirt...the item has be small enough that he can actually pull it out)

He has a fear of bug/poison-types. However he's working on that as he has friends that are bug types...
He's also scared of failure and losing his friends. He's know to go into hysterics if he loses a friend...

Hurt his friends or anybody that doesn't deserve it. But be warned; he's VERY vengeful...

If it's for lunch, then yes. Very much so.

Oh dear gods...the ideas running through my head now. You see, I've stumbled upon MUGEN a long time ago which is a customizable fighting engine. With the advent of PCA, I think the creations of PCA characters in MUGEN is quite possible! Can you imagine Long or Stunner fighting like Ryu? I can sure can imagine Weaver in MUGEN for some odd reason!
In fact, I'm really tempted to make my team in MUGEN. Problem is that I hardly know of anyone that can create sprites save for one person. Coding...I might have to study some the code from characters that I already have (Homer Simpson and Peter Griffin being two of them; they're staples for any MUGEN rosters.)
Oh gods...the want to make Ryuen and Rucus is growing...will I ever get off my lazy bum and actually MAKE something? I dunno with work and soon the new semester coming up...

Now to write out performances that Team Prestidigitation will do. Most of 'em are done to Praga Khan songs but I will take suggestions on what music. Technoish stuff is recommended but anything goes except country, rap, and hip-hop. Exceptions can be made on hip-hop as I do like some of it.

Split Psyche war (Pending title)
The ones who make up Labarc suddenly find themselves in another world in which their dreams come true. However, they soon find out that they're caught in a two front war in between two factions that vie for the destruction of conflict and drama by either wiping out emotion or life altogether. Need a better title and a theme song for this.
Hidden War
This one is set a couple of months after the previous one which will explore my fursona (the eevee one) and his personal demons he will face when his dark aspect "Ruiner" breaks loose from him. Aptly named because nobody but the open air asylum (which is a village dedicated to heal the mentally disturbed) he ends up in knows about it. That and he keeps this to himself until he's finally rid of his demons. Theme song of this is Hikari Utada's "Sancuary" English version of the theme of Kingdom Hearts 2.
Devotion
Fursona goes through some odd breakup with dubious causes. He goes off after the one he gives his heart to in a desparate effort to show how much he loves her. Theme songs would be either Roykosopp's "What else is there?" or Praga Khan's "Luv U Still"
Guardian
Almost after the events of Devotion My fursona and his love try to return back to their home. The path however is fraught with nightmares created in the wake of his love's departure from him. His devotion is proven further but using both his espeon and umbreon aspects to protect her. Might add another to the cause but I dunno. Theme song and the one inspiring this idea is Assemblage 23's "Let me be your armor"

Other ideas include a colony ship that goes from planet to planet to wipe out the Nightmarora and the Diva Machina (the two factions in the first idea). Me being a planar shifter will shift into a form that's indegious to the planet and explore it and establish relations with the inhabitants if needed. OF course, I get "thrown off" from the colony ship when it goes into "Phase mode" (the colony's version of warp drive/hyperspace. Think of it as the Improbably drive from Hitchhiker's Guide minus the random shifting into random things) everytime we visit a new planet. Yeah, KH ripoff in a ways really.
...I'm feeling better...the dread will still be there but at least I can try to gather any saving graces as I can...I'll need them. And luck...and good karma...

I'm sorry if I'm sounding like an asshole, but these authorization requests have interrupted me constantly, even when I go on air! Yeesh...

As I sit here after a strangely...easy workday I've finished my food (chicken salad and popcon chicken! Nummy! :9) and thinking of the theme of 2005. It's in its final hours for me and I'm still thinking...I've come to a conclusion that this year for me was a year of transitions. I've transferred myself from one job (Sonic) to another (EBGames) from one MMORPG (Final Fantasy XI) to another (World of Warcraft) from retirement to activity (Phantasy Star Online) and becoming from a friend to a team leader in a Team(PSOW) and from chatting in AGNPH to partying up in Second Life. I've also gone from feast to famine from an altered cash flow. There are other transitions I could list from that's the main ones I've thought up.
I don't have much to say for the year as I want to move on and forget about the bad times. OF course, that won't last long.
