Posted 2 years agoIm really sad to see the forums go. I miss forum spaces and i hate that everything is becoming discord. Big discord servers give me anxiety so I know i sure as hell wont be joining this one.
Discord servers feel so much more... you gotta be active unlike forums where you can come and go as you please. I dont feel pressured to be active on forums like i do on discord and having servers i dont use just clutters my discord space up imo.

Commission Interests? Also Life Update

First starting with life update, I am set to be moving out of my parent's house, FINALLY, by early next year. Moving in with one of my normie best friends and bros in his own place. So in order to move out I have a savings account towards a moving fund. In order to put extra money down I'm going to be opening commissions.
I just want to know, should I do an Iron Artist, YCH's, Adopts, or just regular commissions? For regular commissions im thinking colored sketches, icons, character design customs.
But yeah! Let me know feedback is appreciated

Emergency icon commissions
Posted 4 years agoMy laptop has taken a shit on me and i need to make money to repair it.
I will be taking fully shaded icon commissions for 25$ each. I can do connected icons for 40$ and blinking animations for 30$ per icon.
4 slots open at a time, completion time estimated is 1-2 weeks from placing the commission. Payment after you approve the sketch. I have Tuesdays and Thursdays free to work.

An Update
Posted 5 years agoHowdy. So I know i've been pretty quiet in updates I guess, almost 2 years since my last journal.
Let's talk about how i've been, lately not the best i've ever been, but you know that's just how life goes. I've had a lot of stress and issues with work, and I think a good portion of that can also be related to Covid. SO that's a thing.
About art; I've been, really struggling to find passion to do art lately. I've been really low energy and it's been a struggle to do much on my days off other than watch youtube and sleep. Which, I would love to be creating art and working to improve my ability. You've probably seen me experimenting lately on different shading styles or with painting. Sometimes it's nice to just, relax and not worry about if everything is perfect for a commission or art for someone. Which is often why commissions take me a while to finish is because I want them to look perfect for the commissioner.
Uhhh, I don't know where I was going with this. But if you wanna hang out or chat feel free to note me for my discord ^^'

New Year, Goal Time
Posted 6 years agoFor the first time, I actually have life goals??? Wow. So, my new year's resolution is to draw more!!
If you've been following me for a while you've probably seen my art production decline. And guess what? I hate it! Mostly depression, like a lethargic all I do is work and I just wanna sleep after work and you get the idea. But as the year went by I felt, shitty. I hardly drew anything reasonable at all last year. What the fuck right? Sure I went out and did stuff and hung out with friends and I enjoy that! BUT, at the same time, I love to draw. I like to create. I wasn't happy with the way last year turned out with my creative side. So, I'm going to do better.
Starting a little late with it, but it's going better. I've been shitting out art at work on receipts and shit, I made a folder for those to share with y'all. I started just doodling on my phone? So whenever I have a day off it's like, what can I draw?
I also am watching a lot of art youtubers? DrawingWiffWaffles and SuperRaeDizzle, little bit of KaseyGolden and of course DrawWithJazza whom I've been following for like 4 or 5 years now. Lemme tell you, this gives me so much motivation to try new styles and play around with my art! I really wanna do more traditional as well because, well.. damn I miss that shit! I drew so much art traditionally when I was in school. Mainly from whatever the fuck was in my pencil case (and that one time I had a mega set of gel pens my freshman year).
So really I wanna get back into traditional, I'd love to do shit with copics, but I'm broke as fuck let's be honest. I thought about it and my past skills from school and.... I want to be a pen artist! Not fineliners, but maybe fineliners? I dunno, I prefer gel and ballpoint pens. I've been looking into like, good pen sets and I want to take a trip over to Michael's or HobbyLobby and see what they have in store for pens so I can try out the inks they have you know how stores have like little notes for you to test the pens out?? Yeah, uh, who knows?
I also wanna get a pocket sketchbook I can put in my work apron so I can do better stuff on days I work instead of wasting the receipt tape, lol.
I think that's pretty much all I wanted to say? I'm gonna look into doing some pony ych's or art sales to help fund my traditional art goals, so look out for those!

I purchased a head to be done and shipped last year for MFF as part of a rush auction. I still have not received it. They refuse to answer my emails asking what happened about it. They are totally active on Facebook and updating, they said I'd have it by February yet I have gotten nothing. Do not waste your money on this scam of a creator. From what I've noticed on their media from others it isn't a unique issue that im having. Others cannot get in contact with them, have not received what they paid for.
My head has been finished for months!!! Why haven't I gotten it?? They ignore and ignore me and make so many excuses!

Grand Rapids, MI is hosting a comic con that weekend of my birthday, Mercy's VA is gonna be there! I'm hoping to go one day to get her autograph on the drawing I got of Shira as Mercy by
jagal. I also wanna see the MLP movie with my dad since we used to watch the show together. then I dunno what i'm gonna do with my friends....
If anyone wanted to do anything for me, happy birthdays are always nice <3
But I do have an art wishlist if you wanted to get art for me.
