He is home, but...My grandma is ge tting more mad/upset about the doctors "Smart ass comment" considering my grandpa is ...doing worse, Today he wasn't able to get back up out of his chair to go back to the bedroom again, as in..not enough to get out of the chair into his wheelchair to head back there like he has the past two nights... I suggested they contact the doctor to get him checked on again to see whats up as he says his arms were not working quite right with strength and all, They said they will in the morning as it's too late to do so right now.

Grandpa is coming home, The checks said that if everything continues as it does, he will be good to stay and recover at home, though he wil be having medical checks locally every so often to make sure, otherwise he goes straight to the emergency room, otherwise he is good to recover at home, even though he can't drive himself around for 6 months.
Yeah he is home today, though he fell once at the hospital when getting out of bed to come home, another time at a gas station they stopped at on the way home, so...He is kinda rather weak in the knees right now from being bedridden for about a week >.<

So, His heart trouble is probably done, and he would of been able to go home, but they need to send him to the neurosurgery hospital, so they can do some work to basically 'drill two holes' so they can remove/relieve the pressure of the bleeding in his brain cavity, as it doesn't seem to be getting worse as far as I have heard, but it's not getting better either, ...

First, the good news, My grandfather, several years ago, got struck by lightning, so since like, 1992, and had "Ventricular Arrhythmia" of sorts, so his heart was beating weirdly out of rhythm, Apparently the..uhm... 'falling over dead' and coming back from the defibrilator, ..one of those two imes -FIXED IT- as it was gone w hen they were checking him in the hospital where he is currently staying, it was commented by one of the nurses they had never heard, nor seen that happening, but...it apparently happened to my grandpa so...in a way this has 'fixed' a problem he had been suffering, that was causing several other problems in his life too.

The ."Eh" news is...there has been very -slight- bleeding found in his brain cavity, not major and currently super minor, t hey are taking him off blood thinners he had been on, to see if it will go away like a bruise, but they are paying close attention so if needed he can be taken to the nearby surgery where there is apparently a world renown nerosurgery team in case it gets worse instead of better. So..not exactly bad news...It as the potential to just be "IT was a thing, it went away." but it has the potential to 'end up' b eing bad news, but currently is..just "...ehh...." news.

Within the past few weeks my grandfather has gotten incredibly dizzy, and fallen over, just 'collapsed' before getting back up a bit later, We didn't know why, local hospital saw no reason, ...they have had more and more appointments, finally the hospital they went too today, has discovered the reason. He Died. Twice. But each time the defibrillator in his pacemaker brought him back.

They believe it is some medication he is taking and are trying to change it, hopefully for the bettor, but...are not 100% sure as they say it could go well, or go badly...depending on how his body reacts, so he is under watch in the hospital for the next three days while this is going on.

Yeah, as of about 5 Pm, it was found that he has passed away, 9.5 days through the 'quarentine' though considering he was still drinking, eating, and of normal behavior and everything, We believe he was 'clean' of rabies, but His heart finally just stopped on him.

At least for is last several days, we were able to give him attention, good food, water, and a safe place to be, rather then how he was almost starved out and super dehydrated when we found him.

Other notes we found is...well, as grandba said "He realy likes fried chicken after removed from the bone" (For the dogs safety removed from bone obviously) and..He -really- liked ice water, aka cold water rather then room temp water.

And we have been keeping him in a quarentene of sorts just to make sure of no rabies risks, and he is still without symptoms and fine, so far it seems then like he is fine, just really old, he is getting a lot stronger though, even if he struggles to walk with his bad hip dysplasia, so we are helping him get stronger and feel better, with some potent pain killers to help him stay calm and be able to rest properly now.

*Sigh* So, there is this Ooold Great Pyrenees in our yard, has been around here in the area for -ages- .....Normally across the way near three other homes, found him lying in our yard, basically nothing but skin and bones, dehydrated it looks like too, we tried to feed him, but he is hurting too so we can't carry him to put him in a kennel or something as he is too weak to break out at this time, his back leg is hurt, furr is matted and dirty as heck.....can barely walk from both his starving/dehydrated issue combined with his hurt leg and age.....But we can't do anything for him other then try to give him food and water...since with the pain he is in, he won't let me try to pick him up to take him to a more secure area, since he is in such pain, though I got a minor scrape from his struggle when I tried to pick him up, and well, since he can't but -barely- hobble along, we don't want to make him walk all the way either.

EDIT: Grandma was able to put a collar on him, and lead him over, into the garage, so he is now in our garage, ...just kinda loose in there because WE don't want to try to fight him into a kennel or something and well, ..It's a place we can make sure he gets plenty of food and water for now.

Yep, TOday is/was my brithday and I turned 31 today, So ...things are going well been a good day, nothing 'too special' my brithday present from my grandparrents I got about a month early, and it is a nice gaming laptop thats pretty powerful, so yay for having myself a proper laptop finally and..overall things are being nice.

Grandma called my cell phone just a moment ago (11:30am-12:30 Pm, not precise time), They are heading to the hospital in Fayetteville Arkansas because of steady and sudden sharp pains in my grandfathers leg, they beleive he may have a blood clot in it and are heading to the emergency room there to get it checked to be safe, so I'm currently on edge because of such, and just worried, though praying about it.

edit: 4:pm central Okay, it's not a blood clot, it's a stuck/pinched nerve...and he is going to be okay.

After going around and around and around with windstream today, I got told "You should of never been at 6 Mbps in the first place, as whoever set you there several years ago had apaprently for some r eason set you up to that without meaning to be so we have set you to the 1 Mbps speed that you rarea has been for and we can not change you back as it is IMPOSSIBLE for you to get those speeds." ...so yeah we have basically been half lied too for years and then now they refuse to give us what we had been given -anyway-


So yeah...after a recent complaint that the internet was going at 0.1 Mbps, they checked, set us to a maximum of 1 Mbps because "That will be stable where you live" and now refuse to set us back to how it was before, because "It is impossible for you to get the speeds your claiming to get and our own records -say- and show you were getting, because there is no support for those speeds there so we will not set you back to that speed."

...So quite basically said "You know what, Fuck you for wanting the internet service you were promised on contract to get, we are going to restrict you to this speed just like everyone else in the area normally gets." ...And yet even the tech out here saturday said we could get -up to- 10 Mbps, and yet of course windstream themselves claim thats impossible. ....Thanks windstream I believe your going to be loosing my family and all as a customer...even if we have to end up resorting to something horrible like satalite internet or something >.<

Grandpa is guessing they are trying to scrape every cent they can with such actions before they go bankrupt, or sell out to another company, because of getting a reply from the BBB today through windstream saying pretty much "How about you all fuck off and switch to dish so you leave us the hell alone."

They got the response of, "Because you know that's not an option, and are the only providers in this area, and so your going to keep getting complaints." from my grandpa.

I called to try to get our internet speed back, We are paying for 6 Mbps

They claim we are changed to 3 Mbps, we never made that change, and are paying even on our bills for 6, they are trying to short us, but they barely sucesfully supply us with 1 Mbps because of a defective part in one of the local internet boxes.

I confronted about that issue, and pointed out multiple times "WE got our 6 Mbps for -seven years-" before you all starts to lie about copper wire and 'bandwidth allocation' because of things, when we know those are both cop-out answers, Not to mention even if we are supposed to be getting 3, YOur barely able to get one, and currently for a few hours we have been basically getting -no- internet. (0.08 Mbps)"

This is all related to the currently closed beta game Crossout, Easy enough to look up, made by Gaijin games, the people who make War Thunder, though to keep it simple, think "War Thunder" mixed with a little Robocraft, and post apocalyptic theme.

When I joined, they had this mechanic based around repairing your parts as they took damage whenever they lost, If they hit 0 condition, they would basically be un-usable, because they would do severely reduced damage, and have insanely reduced HP, let alone be hard to repair.

This system was disliked, but it got more dislikes as changes were made to make it harder to repair items.

Eventually, from what I have heard, since I have not played too recently just yet, that this system has now been removed, but it got me thinking just now....


World of Warcraft, Had a system when it first came out, where people got normal experience when they logged on, but after playing for a long ti me, they started to take a de-buff that would reduce experience gain by 25%, and...this was to discourage long grinding sessions. But people hated it....

They didn't remove the system, but instead, renamed it, and changed how it was perceived....

Rather than removing it, they made it so when you are logged out you now "Gain Rest" ...that gives you a "Boosted" 50% experience rate while it is in effect until it wears off, and then it returns to 100%....THis is the exact same feature, except rather then being "Exausted" From long playing time, and therefore being 'penalized' for playing a long period of time, A person is now 'rewarded' for logging on, after being offline a while...... The expereince gains in between those never changed, Just now it is a "Bonus" that wears off to "Normal", rather then "Normal" Experience, becoming "Degraded" Experience...

I was thinking though, It was not a change in the mechanic, so much as a change in the perception....

So why not do something similar for a game like Crossout...True it would be a minor mechanical change though to fit with it...But why not have it, so when you get a weapon, it's in "Poor/salvaged" to "Average" condition...Meaning it would be basically the "Low" or half damaged state...However, rather then making it behave worse, Just leave it normal..and instead, rather then making it so you "MUST' repair, to use a weapon properly, You can ignore that, and instead use it fine without that...but if you -repair- and replace parts....you gain a very, very minor bonus, like, maybe it's slightly more durable, because "Hey, it has better parts in it now." ...or can keep from overheating -slightly- longer then a 'un-repaired/salvaged' one, because "It's been cleaned up and things lubricated." ...So rather then punishing the players, for 'not taking care of things' Instead, You just let the players have no real issue, since it's the apocalypse, parts are -hard to come by- so you just deal with what you deal with...but if you go out of your way, to improve, to fix up this stuff...to make it better...it -rewards- you...

..TLDR in some ways? Basically Just saying...why not change the terms, and maybe very minor mechanics, so rather than having things start normal, and becoming 'punished' Just change it so they 'start' Normal (punished) and improving it, makes it a Bonus (normal) ...A change in terms...can change how something is perceived quite heavily...

TLDR TLDR: Calling something "Bad", compared to "Normal", comes across worse then something being called "Normal" compared to "Good" even if the only change, is the words used to describe them.

So today/Tuesday this week, he was supposed to get a call for a biopsy appointment, He didn't get it for most of the day, ..He calls them, They didn't have an appointment set up yet for him, and when they asked "Could we get an appointment sooner if we pay with cash, rather then using the VA?"

....they say "If you choose to pay with cash, -YOU WILL LOOSE ALL YOUR VA BENIFITS." ...as in..permanently, .....for wanting to get medical help, for something that coudl potentialy become -lethal- if it's left too long......."Goverment regulations." ...
