New Places to Find Me
Posted 3 years agoAlright so i have started up a few new accounts across various other sites. I have decided to open up a twitch account for Streaming. Now becuase of Twitch's policies i will not be streaming furry stuff there, only my blender 3d modeling process. I intend to start up a test stream at 7 PM EST, or about three and a half hours after the posting of this journal. No voiceover, just me working in blender.
https://www.twitch.tv/ryuukei8569
I have a CG Society account, again primarily intended for my 3d Work.
https://ryuukei8569.cgsociety.org/
I have started up an Art Economy account as a way for people to commission me through means other than paypal.

Likewise i have also started a Renderhub account so people can buy some of my 3d models. Nothing is posted there at the moment, but i intend to get some stuff up in the next few days
https://www.renderhub.com/ryuukei8569/gallery
Those same for sale models will appear on my Art station s well
https://www.artstation.com/ryuukei8569
I will also try and branch out into Sketchfab and BlenderMarket soon, but those options arent open to me at the moment.

Reflecting on 2019
Posted 6 years agoSo its the new year or rather the new decade, and last year was certainly my most active year by a long shot, adding quite a few submission to my gallery in the year. Also for the first time, at least in a couple weeks my FA, Weasyl and IB accounts will be fully caught up to my DA one. My spaceship models have finally gotten to where I want them. and in the past couple of weeks I have been working on ship designs from other nations in my sci fi universe.
So its a new decade, and my plans are to release my first webcomic hopefully within a month, I'll be doing some test pages over this month to see how it goes. This webcomic isn't a very serious one, mostly focuses on my ship models and is kind of an extension of my ship descriptions where the ships themselves are the characters. the title will be warships doing Warship things. But this isn't the only planned work I have.
I also have a more serious Webcomic, Broken down, in the editing Stage. I haven't drawn any pages yet, but I have finished my Draft for the story. It will be the first canon story apart of the infinite Cosmos universe, and my goal is to have all pages of this webcomic finished by the end of 2020.
I also have Two further webcomics in the outline phase of development, titled Wanderer of the Shell and Life of a Starship designer.
All three of these stories tend to cover aspects of Sci fi that are not uncommon, that is the lives of relatively ordinary people going about their lives in a Sci fi setting. A lot of Sci fi's tend to either focus in military life or they tend to focus on people like rebels or spaceship pilots of some form. While I am going towards the Military Sci Fi Genre eventually, that isn't happening until my fourth Canon Story.
I do have rather high aspirations for the series. MY intent is to get to the point of where I am able to support myself entirely by my works, but that is going to take time. I'll probably launch my patreon account shortly after WDWT is released, but since I am working a full time job as a Union electrician, and will be working a full time job at least until May of 2023, its not like I am immediately going to need financial support anytime soon, because of this I am not likely to take commissions unless they are simple ones.
However one thing I do need is proofreaders for my stories. For this purpose I have a Discord server discord.gg/M482DF6 for anyone interested in being a proofreader or just to hang out and chat occasionally. Fair warning its not a super active server at the moment, since it is fairly new.
In other news, I am making a new years resolution. I have deiced not to buy any more video games outside of Halo, and I am no longer making in game purchases on the one MMO I still play, world of Warships. The State of the gaming industry is terrible, gaming companies have just gotten scummier and scummier, exploiting both customers and employees with complete disregard, and I cannot in good conscience support such behavior anymore. Of course the fact that so many modern games are unfun grindfests now has done a lot to kill my interest in video games.
Either way I hope 2020 is a good year for me, and I hope everyone has a happy new decade.

Infintie Cosmos Discord - Calling for proofreaders
Posted 6 years agoI am now starting a new discord server for my own original sci fi setting, infinite Cosmos.
discord.gg/tTXHMcT
This server is primarily to allow me to gather people willing proofreader and edit my stories. My first story in the setting, Broken Down, has its first draft complete, and once I make a few adjustments. it will be open for proofreading either tonight or tomorrow morning. But the servers other role is to build a community around the setting, as i intend for it to be a great big sandbox setting. So what is infinite Cosmos.
The Galaxy of the infinite Cosmos
It is 3600 years into the future. Humanity is but one of many many space faring species across the galaxy. It is apart of an interstellar union of nations known as the OISU, an organization spread across the Orion spur and the Izakar super segment of the Perseus arm. The OISU is one of eight Galactic superpowers which shares the galaxy with countless numbers of smaller interstellar nations. The Galaxy is a vast place afterall, with over 250 billion stars, and a thousand times as many planets.
Compared to the life of modern day humans, life of the average person in this galaxy would seem to be paradise. Age Reversal medical technology is nearly ubiquitous, allowing people to live on nearly indefinitely, so long as they go in for periodic treatments. Manufacturing technology has progressed to the point of where even high quality basic material goods are very inexpensive by the standards of today. Even a fairly poor family can afford housing that would be considered a mansion by today's standards, well for most places in the galaxy anyway. Food shortages are a nearly unheard of problem, and many civilizations care capable of constructing planetary scale megastructures, making living space much less of an issue. Biological and cybernetic augmentations and modifications are common place, allowing people to transcend the normal limitations of biology. Most menial tasks are performed by automated machinery or robots, and due to the basic realities of robotics, the idea of a robotic revolution is as absurd as the idea of a zombie apocalypse. Interstellar faster than light travel is a common occurrence.
However this galactic society is not without its problems. Rivalries between nations are a common sight, as the various nations of the galaxy jockey for power, or even just the simple right to live independently from one another. There is of course a divide between the wealthy and the not wealthy, although the divide is more severe in some nations than others. Having some form of biological or Cybernetic augmentation, is not just a mere commodity in society, it is often a necessity for climbing the social-economic ladder, and not all augmentations are cheap either. While some nations handle economic inequality fairly well and maintain an acceptable level of balance, others allow the gap between the rich and the poor to grow to absurd levels, and of course create all the social tensions that goes along with it. But the age old struggle for power and dominance remains a constant. No one nation in the galaxy is truly innocent. Every nation, every ideology, every species has at least one skeleton in the closet.
But one fact remains true. The universe is an infinitely vast place, and despite the grand scale that even the largest nations operate on, they are tiny and insignificant compared to the vastness of the cosmos.
My plans for infinite comsos
My first infinite cosmos story, Broken Down, has its first draft completed, and is officially in need of proofreading/editing. My plan is to turn this story into a webcomic, no more than a hundred pages. But I want to get the story right before I start drawing. I am also open to the idea of hiring a colorist for the comic, so if your good with coloring, it is a possibility. But if you want to be a comic colorist, be prepared for a long term commitment, and ideally in clip studios paint, that way so we can share save files.
Broken Down is not my only story however. I have two more named stories in the works. Wanderer of the Shell is the title of my next work, and I have started a detailed outline for this story. The story after this will be called Life of a Starship designer. All three of these stories are intended to be fairly simple and not too long. But after these three is when I want to start getting quite heavy, with a work that is as of yet, untitled.
A side project of mine is also a fan fiction project. Unlike the others which are all going to be webcomic projects, this one is a written project only, and it is a crossover story involving infinite cosmos, Star Trek, Star Wars and Halo. This particular project is on hold at the moment, as I do have some content written, but its definitely a work in progress.
Right now I am working a full time job as an industrial electrician, so I cannot devote full time to infinite cosmos. my goal is in four years to be generating enough revenue to be able to work on infinite cosmos full time, as that is when I will be finished with my electricians apprenticeship. But I need help, and now is as good of a time as any.
My stories will contain mature content such as casual nudity, language and violence. It will not be pornographic however, as I have no interest in porn, and I'm not going into excessive violence either. casual nudity is the most common NSFW.
Anthro's in Infinite Cosmos
Infinite cosmos is not just going to be a standard sci fi setting, it is going to have a noticeable furry theme as well. In this setting however, Anthro's are treated as separate and distinct species from either Humans or regular animals. That is of course, for anthro's that where born as anthro's.
In infinite cosmos, where biological and cybernetic modifications are common place, it is not uncommon for someone from one species to alter their own body and make them look like another species.
For the most part however, the vast majority of anthro's where created about a hundred millennia before the current timeline by an ancient and long dead alien civilization. These anthro's where then placed across hundreds of different earthlike worlds across the galaxy. As such most anthro;s tend to have their own distinct cultures.

Considering Commission work
Posted 10 years agoIt is a possibility in the near future I may decide to offer up commission work. Not sure when yet, and there are a few things i would need to sort out, but I am considering it. I mam comfortable enough with my artistic skill enough that i may be commission worthy, but i am as of yet unsure as to how to go about it.
If i was to do commissions, there would be a few things I wouldn't do. Many of the odder fetishes that exist here on FA I wouldn't do, either due to distaste or just plain lack of knowledge on the subject. I am not entirely ruling out porn commissions though, however it is a fair warning, porn is not a subject I have a much of experience with. Most of what I have done is at most female nudity, so my porn experience is pretty darn limited.

may actually start up again
Posted 15 years agoi have been inactive on FA for a very long time, but i may decide to come back onboard. I am currently working on a 3D modeling program known as blender. Once I get up to speed with blender I may start posting true 3D art up, and maybe in the future may be able to do 3D commissions, as well as add in your favorite characters into a custiom game mod, if it is a game i am familiar with.
Hey I am back
Posted 16 years agoIf anyone knew I am in the army. So I have benn MIA for about 4 months now due to being in bootcamp and not having internet. so if anyone was curious.
kicked out of DA
Posted 16 years agolikely not something that is new here. I got removed from DA for a stupid and unjust reason. So I am new here because of that. Although I have submitted an appeal, even if they lift the ban, I might not go back. I am sick of their corruption, and their stupidity. Hopefully the admins here are not like that.
