So a few months ago I decided to take a look at e621 to see if any of the artwork that I had commissioned had been uploaded there without me knowing. Just as I thought there had been, pretty much all of the pieces I've had done were on there. I will say that they were all grabbed from the artist's pages so there is a slim chance that the warning I have on my page was never seen. After seeing that those were uploaded there I put in requests to have them taken down since I did not give permission to upload to the site and I did not upload them myself (all artwork I get I only upload here). I checked to make sure that whoever uploaded them wasn't the artist as well since they have the right to upload their art to other sites since it is their art.

Fast forwarding to now I'm seeing the artwork of my characters being uploaded there again and on other sites too. I'm putting in requests now to have those taken down, I know in the long run this really won't matter, however, it will annoy those that did upload them at least a little bit.

As of now, I'm contemplating a few solutions to make sure it doesn't happen in the future:
1) Ask the artist I commission to watermark over the "assets" of the piece as to censor them and to upload those ones to the sites and only send me the uncensored version (artist obviously can and probably will decline this option as is their right)
2) Never upload the artwork that I have commissioned in the future and ask for the artist to not upload it as well (again the artist can and probably will decline this option)
3) I could just stop commissioning artists altogether (obviously I don't want to do this since I like having art of my characters done and would be pointless to have characters and do nothing with them).

So those are some of the options I'm currently contemplating on doing right now since people don't care or clearly don't understand not to upload other people's artwork to other sites without permission. If this makes people want to stop following me on here or be pissed off at me altogether than that's what it is. I clearly have it on my page that I don't want this to happen with my characters and artwork that I have had done, as to protect the artist's and I's property. Despite that people disregard that wish and will do as they please.

As of now, I have a YCH from coming up, and I'll probably be asking him to see if he is ok with either option 1 or 2.

Again I apologize if this makes any of you upset, but I'm fed up with people not having the common sense/common courtesy to listen to people when they say "don't upload to another site without my permission".

So after almost 7 years of being a lurker and just on the sidelines of the furry community and this site I've decided that I should make an attempt at actually talking to and getting to know some you on here and make some friends. So as of that I also decided to get Telegram because from what I've seen other people say on here is that a lot of us use it and it's a decent messaging app to keep in touch.

And so the first step in talking to someone is to introduce yourself, so here's a little bit about me then:
-Age: 25
-Served in the US Navy for 4 years
-Big into gaming (Final Fantasy, Assassin's Creed, Pokemon, Kingdom Hearts, Elder Scrolls, etc.)
-I play MTG, not the best but I really do enjoy the game a lot
-I mostly read fantasy novels when I do read
