Artwork will resume shortly; since i've been at work (got a 4 week temp job as a receptionist) i've not had much time to do any sketching (except for the odd doodle on Photoshop)

I've used ToonBoom when i was at uni, and i've been thinking about downloading the trial version of Anime Studio, but before i do...i would like to know if anyone has used this software before.

And if so, could you tell me the pros and cons of Anime Studio among other things i may need to know.

Sorry for not updating, for the last few weeks have been somewhat busy.

First off, I got a phonecall from my old college (i signed up to do a course in ChildCare); they asked me to come in for a few hours to do a couple of tests (English and Maths-quite frankly, my Maths is pretty pathetic)

Anyway, after the test; i was then told that we would hear from them by the end of the month when the course would start etc.

Got a call from them sometime this week, letting me know that i got a place (must of done either well or alright) , the days i go in are Tuesday and Wednesday from 9am-3pm

Other than that, that's it really.

My agency called me today (why did they have to phone me when i was carrying several cleaning products in my grasp as i was climbing the stairs-including a bucket and mop-.... i don't know -__-; )

Got a temporary job-starting this Monday and will last until 7th December.



Pay's £11-something an hour, receptionist work (will find out more from the description when it arrives into my email)

Have to go to the agency's head office early on Monday morning to sign a contract (confidentiality contract, can't say any-more than that)

SO, apparently Furaffinity has garnered attention from paypal in the worst way. Transactions with information in the Subject or Description that pertains to Furaffinity will result in the user being blocked from paypal!

This, as only I've heard and I've not yet seen it happen, is due to the fact FurAffinity has been flagged by paypal as a pornography website, which is against Paypal's main Terms of Service.

This most definately affects almost EVERY commissioner, so please when sending transactions Do not mention your FA username, the words FA or FurAffinity, or likely derivatives on paypal.

Please repost this.

This week has just been...well, pretty much me running up and down the place like a headless chicken.

For example, Friday just gone- i came out of an job interview (for a part time job at Rymans) and got home to have some breakfast (made some French Toast) when i got a text from one of my relatives (let's just say that i nearly choked on my breakfast as i had to wolf it down)

But anyway, i've been working on my project (which seems to be going well on DeviantArt)

As the title of this journal states; had a job interview on Thursday- £12 an hour receptionist role.

Got the results from my consultant yesterday: i didn't get the job.

On the plus side, i've signed up for a course on ChildCare (will hear from the college when they've obtained enough people)

And only 77 more pageviews until i hit 1000; as stated from my previous journal whoever catches it will get a free coloured picture of their persona (human or anthro)

Things in real life have....well...i can't really talk about it for legal reasons...but yeah, things had gotten THAT bad.

I've managed to upload one old picture yesterday.

10 things about myself

1. I've drawn three (maybe four) x-rated pieces in my whole life: but those pieces have been destroyed (the digital work have been deleted, i don't want to be known for drawing SEX SEX SEX)

2. I have sensitive skin, so i have to be very careful with products i use.

3. In the past, i have come up with over 10 concept projects: (one project called 'The Animal Detectives' is on permanent hold -was created in 2001) most of them are on hold/have stopped altogether....

4. The project i'm currently working on is Key to My Heart (came up with the concept idea in 2008 and has been progressing since then)

5. Even though i've had pet birds in the past, i'm actually kinda scared of them (has had a Cockatiel named Phoenix and two peached face lovebirds-Peter and Paul: turned out they were both females and not males)

6. I've only cosplayed as three characters so far: Tony Chopper from One Piece, Rouge the Bat from the Sonic the Hedgehog series and Mama Odie from the Princess and the Frog. (my best friend Lizzie got me into the cosplaying scenario)

7. Rather than listening to other people's opinions (its usually people bitching) on games/anime/movies etc, i tend to go and research it and get my own opinion i.e. i was never a fan of the Bleach series: so i bought the first complete season of Bleach and watched it.
All i can say is that the series is okay...but it's not my cup of tea

8. I taught myself how to use PhotoShop while i was in college (my graphics teacher never taught us how to use it)

9. I love old school AND new school animations (do not go flaming me just because i speak my mind)

10. When i do character expressions, i use my own face as reference.

Anyone who suggests i draw 'Adult' rated picture can get lost or take me off your watch list, i don't do Adult rated work any more (i've only ever done 3-4 dirty pictures in my life)

All of my original adult rated work has been destroyed (original drawings- shredded, files kept in my external hard drive- deleted, binned and wiped clean).

Sorry i haven't written a journal for three weeks: I've been busy looking for work (stupid job cuts) and it's not been very easy as most of the places ask for experience.

I've only had 2 interviews this year (it's better than not getting any i suppose)

Anyway, on a lighter note:

I finally got my money from the three day job as a receptionist on the 11th of this month (which was my granddad's birthday)

Then it was my birthday on the 12th (i got a book about poses from my little sister-who also made my birthday cake, from my folks: I got an upgrade to my graphic tablet-I now have the Wacom Intuos 4 Large)

Other than what i've mentioned, that's it really.

Looks like the money i did for the three day reception job didn't come into my account Friday just gone.

I'm not going to go into details as it's no-one else's business but my own, all i can say is the person who authorises my time-sheet has apologised that it's taken so long to do all this.

One of my consultants will give me a call with any updates, that's all i can say.

Anyway, artwork will be coming soon, i'm working on a few comic strips (they'll be posted on my DA account and my blogspot account).

My apologies again for not updating my gallery here, things have gotten...let's just say...a little busy (as well as weird).

Did a 3 day job as a receptionist (it should of been 2 days-but i'm not to discussed about the extra day); so instead of getting paid £119, i'll be getting £178.50 (sweet)

Been working on my blog (which can be found in the profile section of my front page)

As well as working on a traditional commission (somewhat overdue, but my hand plays up every now and then, so i have to rest it)

Again, my apologies for not updating this account with work.

Not only have i been busy with my temp job, but i was asked by a friend of the family to create some badges for an upcoming event this Saturday (this is what's been eating up my time)

Plus, whatever spare time i have left over i've been working/creating a blog for my WIP series called 'Key to My Heart' (been working on this project since 2008)
