I was advised by a friend that I should start posting all the art I’ve been getting from other people in my scraps gallery, though I’m still a little nervous over doing…I can easily link to artists if need be, but it’s more a factor of ‘how much of a case-by-case basis will it be to get artist’s permission?’ I’ve already gotten permission from two artists to put work on here, sure, but part of me is like…I dunno. Maybe I’m fretting over it too much.

There’s also the factor of ‘should I post my past art fight content on here, too’ (and trust me, there’s still a HUGE backlog of art I haven’t gotten to yet), but part of me’s worried about the previous factor AND the dissonance in content that I’ve been posting here.

Curious to hear other’s thoughts here, might push myself to put a bigger variety of art here in some amount of time. (Or at the least, finish a few more character reference poses…)

Sooooo, anyone who knows me off-site knows that I have…a lot of art. Like, a lot a lot. Art Fight’s been helping me feel more open to just drawing whenever and whatever, so I’m gonna start uploading my backlog of art on here.

But not all at once, though. I’m gonna test the waters with a few pieces, then once Art Fight’s over…I’m gonna start drawing up new Character Ref poses, then upload older art of them. For now, though…stay tuned!

Hello, Xeno here. Dunno how many people ever followed me to see art, or pay much attention to this account, but I’ve been considering uploading some of my newer art here for a while now. Been really self-conscious about it, though, since I still rely heavily on tracing for practice and drawing references for my characters, as well as a few being a bit derivative in design...that, and I’d need to explain character lore, which is a...personal hurdle I’ve been needing to get over lately, anyways.

I’ll think it over, and mark things as needed. If I earn anyone’s scorn for mishandling upload policy or ripping off others, then I apologize in advance.

Consider this a filler journal, of sorts. like...a thing. You don't have to read this, but if you did read it, then you no doubt feel better for taking the time to listen to my dribble.

Yep. Today, May 31st, is my birthday. Not making a big deal about it because, well, it's not really that big of a deal, I guess. But yay for obligatory Birthday journal?

It seems to me that there's MORE people writing journals warning people to be cautios about joke journals (or just not liking April Fools in general) then there are people writing actual Joke Journals. I counted, upon the Journals I had...4 such "warning" journals, and 1 actual joke journal?

Maybe I just follow smart people...or maybe ACTUALLY MAIKNG Joke Journals has fallen so out of favor that it's suddenly become "the hipster" thing to to, just by how "un-hipster" it's made out to be.

Me?

...I'm making a journal complaining about complaint journals. That's gotta be meta on some level.
