Haven't checked my page for like, 3 weeks because I've been in Russia, and I have so many effing messages.

Just thought I'd share. ...and I'm having a blast in Russia.

I have just been introduced, and I need MORE.

GOD I NEED MORE.

Or rather, Bonnaroo. This weekend has to be one of my favorites in the calendar year, and the last two years have been made even MORE enjoyable due to the fact that my brother and I have been able to procure VIP tickets for free from a friend. I cannot express just how wonderful four days of nothing but music and freedom to do whatever you want feels like. I hope I can continue to go for many years to come.

Side note, it bugs me when people bitch about the line-up. Seriously, it's pretty much one of the best experiences you can have no matter WHO'S playing. I'll be honest, one of the best show's I think I EVER seen was B.B. King. Someone who's show I really had no intention of going to because it's just not my music and not my crowd (shout out to the old people!), but when you're with a group of friends (old or new!) you have a good time no matter what.


Post-script: no one noticed my journal about the role-playing games. Guess I'll just keep looking.

I would love to kind of get into some Werewolf: The Apocalypse or The Forsaken, but it all seems so complicated. I spent today looking for some sites to try it online, but damn if it doesn't seem like if you don't know what you're doing from the get-go, you can't really start.


I guess I'm just wondering if anyone plays. I'd love to learn.

Try and picture this: A bear (think country, overalls with no shirt) on a rope swing (over a river) that he's obviously a little large for/doesn't feel comfortable on. One guy (the person whose lead he obviously followed) is already in the water, and his other buddies watching from the bank with some brews (maybe moonshine) and laughing hysterically.


...I wanna draw that, but I certainly don't feel up for it. Seems fun, no? I know I've done that once or twice (minus the moonshine).

I need some serious stress reducers. I think I'm gonna spend some time meditating tomorrow.

So I went through my favorites today, and there about half of them had been removed. So now, I just have a bunch of gray x's in my favorites. Is there any way to get rid of these? I feel like if the submission was removed by the poster, there shouldn't be a random blank box left it should just be ...gone. No?

I feel it's relatively hard to meet and make friends on here because if you post comments about their art to try and strike up a convo, they feel you're just another annoying sucker. And if you beg and plead for attention you ARE just another annoying sucker. (And yes, this applies to everyone, not just the "good" artists.)

:/ Really I wish there was something like DA's system with multiple chats of different topics. Even though I can't stand (couldn't) the people there. It's all little children or jaded assholes.

Took a much needed break and went hiking with family and friends in middle TN this weekend. We decided to stay at a campsite quite close to where we parked (2 miles) but we went on a 10 mile excursion on Saturday which certainly got my muscles hurtin'. All in all, about 15 miles were walked, and we had a good time! Now I just have to get back to my 17 page research paper looming in the near future and my multitude of trials and tribulations I've gotta go through before the end of the year. (School-year, that is.)

This may be old news, but I just found out about WoW: Cataclysm and I cannot tell you how excited I am. Worgen vs. Goblins? Alliance seriously got the better deal there (and I was always Alliance), and I wonder how many furry horde die-hards are gonna be making a secret Worgen on different servers. ;)

I quit playing about a year ago, and I'm definitely gonna have to pick up a copy of the new expansion and give it a whirl when it comes out. I'm also gonna have to upgrade my comp too though, because I wanna play full specs.

Dragon was a fantastically fun ride. The animation was great, the 3D was great, the storyline was predictable (but, as always, cute) and the dialogue was actually pretty good (There's a few issues, but the movie was so enjoyable overall, it's easy to overlook.) And actually, some of the scenes were pretty intense for what my pre-conceived notions of the film were. The big 'ol bad dragon is MONSTROUS. :D

I can't wait to go see it again in 3D when I need an emotional boost.


Also, I hope some art starts showing up on FA, though I'm sure someone's gonna Rule 34 it. I just hope some good clean works come out of it.

but I got to see Chiddy Bang and Kid Cudi last night. I'm still lovin' it, and I had to take a test this morning! @_@

This is just another random post to bump my previous. :) I still haven't decided what I'm gonna do about that.

This place is just the pits. Nice people, nice art, but I just feel like I could find that somewhere else. The inundation of porn doesn't help, and I can't help but think I should just create a new account and keep the filter on. I really do like anthropomorphic art, but people seem to think of the furry fandom as a place to throw every little shed of inhumanity into their drawings of sexual practices that are just absurd and monstrous. I know people have their kinks, and I don't fault them for that, but this stuff is just heinous. Some of it is my fault because I have added artists that produce mainly porn, but, again, I feel if I just start over with the filter on I'll find new artists who are awesome and totally worth watching without losing a little shred of my sanity every time I log in.

Just found out today that one of my teachers was Chris McCandless' college advisor and teacher during his time at Emory. For those of you that don't know this is the same Alexander Supertramp of "Into the Wild" fame.

I feel like such an ungrateful ASS, but I simply cannot STAND talking to my parents. I just... don't care. I really don't. It's not that I don't love them, but if I could, I don't think I would call them or answer their calls the entire time I was at school. THEY AREN'T EVEN PUSHY. I realize that they just call once in a while to talk but it always seems to happen when I am in a bad mood or simply have no interest rambling on about nothing of any importance for 30 minutes.

I literally just cut my mom off while on the phone with her because I simply.. didn't want to keep talking. How pitiful is that? I'm even aware of it. I... I don't know what to say.

So my relatives went a little nuts on the iTunes cards this year and I have $80 bucks to spend...

I'm not ungrateful in the least, but I actually just bought some cd's and don't really have anything at the front of my mind that I want to buy. So does anyone have any suggestions? I know I don't post often here and so my chances of getting any responses are probably slim but I figured it was worth a shot.

Figured it was update time. Hope everyone is having a good winter thus far (for those who like snow, enjoy! and for those who don't... spring isn't really too far away!). I've been dealing with school and life, and haven't really communicated with anyone on here for a good while, but I've been around shamelessly stalking the artists I like and fav'ing things quite often.
