I don't know if I agree with all this but it is certainly interesting.

So I always prided myself on being independent. I knew I always wanted to get out of my hometown, and I wanted to do things my way.

I miss the friends I had so much.

I love scrubs. Love it.

And I just went on a camping trip. Good times.

I love my Jack Daniels.

I don't like my roomate. :(

This place is like a dirty little secret for me.

If my friends knew I frequented this place, I would be mocked severely. And if they knew there was porn on here... well I probably wouldn't have friends. But I like to keep up with some of my favorite artists.

*sigh* I'm kinda in a downer mood. I guess everybody has their days. :/

So I never update this thing but I figured what the heck. I also thought I would be leaving FA but that didn't happen. Maybe I'll actually start drawing again sometime soon... whoops, don't want to make promises I can't keep. D:

Anyway, I'm officially leaving tomorrow! (TODAY :D) I'm heading to Atlanta for school. Also, I just got home from seeing Bruce Springsteen in concert. W.O.W.

My original intent was to join and make friends but I ended up saying nothing, doing nothing, and, not surprisingly, nothing came of it. I also just do not agree with many of the accepted forms of "Art" that are available on this site. I know I can turn the filter on and ignore it, but I feel it would be much better if I simply left.

Thanks to those who said kind words, but I don't think I'll be back.

So I just finished Wolf's Rain, and I'm sitting here in a dumbstruck manner still digesting this.

Anyway, I got to go see The Golden Compass today (promised a friend I would take her to a movie and I had free tickets to this one! 8D) and I was politely let down.

I just didn't like Lyra. She was not believable, she was not the character I read about, and the only thing her daemon contributed was: "I'm scared. Don't do that. Don't do this."
BLah.

Nicole Kidman was not what I hoped for either, and Daniel Craig said like two things. :<

I guess that comes from having to rush the storyline like they did (it was quite jumpy) but I know they couldn't have fit it all otherwise. [I'VE HEARD ATLAS SHRUGGED IS IN THE MAKING. How the hell are they gonna do that? The book is EFFING HUGE.] *ahem*

The one thing I absolutely loved were the armored bears. Yes, they didn't develop them enough, but they didn't do that for any character. Yes, there is NO blood. Tough. It's a kid's movie. But in the book, I absolutely fell in love with the bears and loved that entire portion of the story and I guess because it was CG and there were no real people mussing it up I think they did fairly well.

The FREAKING ENDING. Why can't they end it like the book? IT IS NOT A HAPPY ENDING IN THE BOOK. It sets up for the next one and I guess they wanted to make everything all hunky-dorey for the kiddos but I really was let down there. :[

I want Sunshine.

Neither of which are obtainable. :(

In other news, exams are almost over, I have a party to prepare for (that I don't want to be involved in) but I get to see some friends who moved away and I haven't seen in a while!

Not too shabby.

Maybe I'll play some CS:S or GH in the meantime. :)

I'm having just a liiiiitle bit of trouble trying not to be overwhelmed. It's inevitable, but I'd like to post-pone the breakdown. That doesn't need to happen yet.

And I've been burying myself in my books again, (this hasn't happened for a long time) and I'm certainly wishing my imagination was tangible.

I really wish my imagination was tangible.

*sigh*

And I've realized how much easier it is to bitch online because you want people to feign interest. It doesn't even have to be real, just as long as someone acts like they cared. I hope I don't come off like that and I hope the depressed-me postings will be few and far between if I can actually get myself to do these journals.

I'm writing an entry now with a mouth full of gauze, a nice ice pack strap on my face, and a system full of meprozine! 8D Picture that if you will.

Everything went smoothly, and I feel fine (other than the aforementioned slight frustrations) so we'll see how things turn out when I actually begin to feel pain.

If I could smile right now, I would!

P.S. My tongue feels like the size of the Titanic.

Wisdom teeth out tomorrow. All four of them.

I don't really have a problem with it, but my end-of-summer workload has tripled and I just can't take 5 days to recover. I'm hoping I bounce back quick from this, but I don't think I will come out of it well, (I didn't come out of anesthesia well last time I had sugery) so I don't know how I will take it.

I do know full-well though that I have a good doctor, so things should run smooth as long as there are no complications out of his control.

And no I'm not nervous. I wasn't nervous when I had a sist (syst? cyst?) removed from.. down... there.

*Cough* Anyway, just here to say it's happening! ...to myself mostly.

Removed some art here. Didn't like it and I felt it shouldn't be in the gallery, though I thank anyone who favorited that stuff. (Which weren't many.)

Maybe I'll get some stuff up but life's hectic right now and it's not looking like my gallery will start to move any faster than it's been the past ....year.
