I would like to take the time and thank you all for supporting me for the past 10 years. I appreciate all those that showed interest in my art and those who commissioned me during these times. I have been in a slump about my art and decided to take a new direction. To better motivate me to get back into art, I have decided to create a new OC and a new page starting from Zero. This new OC will be the face of my new art brand and channel. I would like to introduce you to  TheSugarCoon SugarCoon.

The wolf is not going anywhere. I will still respond to Sable to all my close friends, but the little Raccoon will be my new face and avatar from this point on.

I have plans to double my efforts to get back into art. I would like to start making YCHs, and a range of commissions to build my drive and regain my love for art again. I plan on creating a Twitter account to hold raffles at certain milestones and occasions.

Once again I appreciate all the support you have given me over the past decade. I look forward to seeing you all in my new account and to meet the new faces that show interest.

I will be slowly moving things over from my old FA account "Sablesenizen" to my new account over the following weeks. Once that is completed I will be closing out the old FA account and moving full force with SugarCoon.

Me gustaría tomarme el tiempo y agradecerles a todos por apoyarme durante los últimos 10 años. Agradezco a todos aquellos que mostraron interés en mi arte y a los que me encargaron durante estos tiempos. He estado desanimado por mi arte y decidí tomar una nueva dirección. Para motivarme mejor para volver al arte, he decidido crear un nuevo OC y una nueva página a partir de cero. Este nuevo OC será la cara de mi nueva firma de arte. El lobo no va a ninguna parte. Todavía responderé a Sable a todos mis amigos cercanos, pero el pequeño mapache será mi nueva cara y avatar a partir de este momento.

Tengo planes de duplicar mis esfuerzos para volver al arte. Me gustaría comenzar a hacer YCH y una variedad de comisiones para construir mi disco y recuperar mi amor por el arte nuevamente. Planeo crear una cuenta de Twitter para realizar rifas en ciertos hitos y ocasiones.

It's hard to write this, but we've put our heart and hope in it, and without further ado we'll explain why we are doing this. We (Sable and Jale ) are from Venezuela and we have reached a point in our lives where we are found ourselves stuck and unable to move on because of many reasons, some of them I will explain on this note. You may wonder what is preventing us from moving on with our lives. Venezuela is currently going through a very critical situation, resulting in shortage of goods, food, medical supplies, hyperinflation and very high crime rate, just to name a few, that even most third world countries are in a way better situation than ours, making it impossible for us to live on our own.

HYPERINFLATION
It's so critical that our minimum wage is less than one Dollar per hour and it's already very hard for us to survive with such little amount. And it's not like everything here is cheaper, only one day worth of work is gone in a breakfast. To get just one plane ticket we have to save up to 4 years without spending a single cent.

INSECURITY
If the economic crisis wasn't enough, we're also facing the issue of insecurity. It's so common to hear out there someone has been killed to be robbed or kidnapped, robbed in their own house and the police simply does nothing, they even probably know the robbers. We're fearing for our lives everytime we go outside, to work, and never know if we'll make it home safely.

SHORTAGE
More recently, we've been facing severe food shortages. It's impossible for us to do a full grocery shopping, even if we find everything we need we can't afford them. Most of the basic goods are scarce and we're forced to form lines for hours to get them (if we get them), or return home with empty hands. By basic goods we're not talking about Pringles or M&Ms, but milk, flour, rice, pasta, cooking oil, meat... all of them are unaffordable. This is already affecting us greatly, we're only having 2, even 1 meal a day, we lost weight and got sick due to malnutrition.

If you've read up to this point we want to thank you for taking the time reading this. We just want to live together with dignity and being able to move on with our lives. We're living with fear everyday when we go outside, not knowing if you're going to be robbed or being pointed with a gun; being capable of taking care of ourselves, being independent.

<< OUR PLANS SO FAR... >>

Our current planned destination is Chile, because, after months of research and reading testimonies of fellow venezuelans who fled there, we felt they have a very welcoming, non-strict policy towards immigrants, even though we have already done formalities and papers legalization, which took over a year to complete. The next step once we arrive in Chile would be to acquire a work permit so we can find a job formally and according to their laws. After all of this have been accomplished, our next and final step would be obtaining a permanent residence in the country.

We currently have enough money for one (1) plane ticket, but this is a big step we want to make together. Prices of the plane tickets vary according to the season, but we estimate a rough of $500 ~ $700 each, and the amount needed to survive the first months are about $700 each, including food. We're expecting to find a job within the very first month.

If you're feeling so inclined, we would like you to support our cause by making a donation. Any amount will do. With all the money collected we could buy the other plane ticket needed and to survive the first months which are the hardest, all meanwhile we find a job to survive on our own.

- Ask for a slot down here in the comments section of this journal, after I reply directly to you and put you on the list you can send me a note with the info regarding what you want me to draw for you.

- I must accept your commission first by replying directly to you through note after reading what you wanted, so don't send payment before that!

- I can decline your offer if i don't feel comfortable about what you are asking.

- I will need full Colored references for the character you want me to draw, if that is not the case and you still want me to draw a character having provided only a B&W reference or even from no references it will add $5 to the final ammount.

- Commission must be paid in advance before I start working on it.

- As a mean to show your commission progress, you must add me on Skype only (sablenegro1). All major changes must be done in the sketching phase. Please, be very specific about all the details you want in your drawing (expressions, poses, situations, etc). Once we move on and you are happy with the resulting sketch, there's no turning back (may do some minor changes in lineart and color).

- All commissions should be finished within 1 or 2 months as much, starting from the moment I recieve payment, of course I'm going to work on them every single day, that way I will try to get them done as soon as possible.

- Only 1 character. If you want extra Characters or backgrounds they add 12 USD to the final amount. If you want your character to have detailed clothing, armor, weapons, magic effects or any other significant addition adds 5 USD each character to the final amount.

- I can add text to the drawing if required.

- For urgent works (such as birthdays and important deadline dates), I must be warned at least 5 days prior that date if you want me to take care of your commission with urgency it will add $5 to the final amount*.

* I can only accept 1 urgency work and 1 Ref. sheet commission type at a time within every new slot announcement I make.
