It really has been a hot minute hasn't it? A lot has happened in...once again, about 5 years

The biggest one is that I live with Jet now <3 and I live a life I could have only dreamed about even 5 years ago. Best thing to happen to me, honestly.

The second biggest is that I'm not a boy any more. Not sure if I'm a girl, definitely not a boy, some kind of gender cryptid as far as I can tell. That's been quite the adventure so far. They/She/Pup are all fine. Maybe I should redo the colour version of Strange Sensations sometime? I dunno, it could happen. How I didn't figure it out sooner is a mystery to me, I obviously kinda knew something was up in twenty-fluffing-fifteen with my ref sheet!

So half of that was true I guess. I make leather gear now too~ from pup hoods to harnesses to a nice little ferrule for my cane. Also I'm on a cane now because when you turn 30 your bones apparently just fucking turn to dust

Wrote off a car thanks to brake failure, been ebiking around basically everywhere, moved to Sydney and now I spend a whole bunch of time in VR as well :3 Turns out I get extremely immersed and phantom sense is a wonderful thing~

OH right yeah I do VR avatar textures now too, that's pretty neat

I'm not gonna pretend I'm going back to being active here but it'd be pretty cool if I did. I don't see it happening necessarily but otherwise I'll see you all in 5 years, or when I think of something I missed, whichever comes first <3

An awful lot has changed since I last posted a journal; I thiiink it was around 2011-2012 where I was coming to terms with being gay, now I have a boyfriend, I draw even less than I used to, I still sometimes write, but mostly I narrate and do radio these days. I've been in and out of studies more times than I care to count, I now make beer, collect and archive old furry media where I can and maintain a computer that's about as old as I am :3

I've reduced my watchlist...significantly, in the hopes of making this site vaguely useable to myself again, we'll see if I actually stick around.

Yep, got my provisional license yesterday ^.^ I can now drive on my own =D *does a happy dance XD

Completely safe from the flooding that happened in Queensland recently, my area was far enough from anywhere that got flooded to be at risk, nice to have some sun again after so much rain though o¯o

So some other stuffs - found out recently that yes, I can go to uni this year =D failed -one- class of four in the most recent semester ^.^ oddly enough it was marketing actually o.O it's kinda got me thinking back to year 7 with media studies though and wondering if maybe I'm in the wrong degree >.< I'll keep it up though methinks, an information systems degree definitely wouldn't be a bad thing to have =3

Also, I found a book that I've yet to see mentioned here actually - Freaks! How to Draw Fantastic Fantasy Creatures <-- first thoughts, "...appropriate title", first impression, "hmm...looks decent", after a decent look "...well damn this could really help o.o" so...yeah, another one to keep in mind for those learning to draw =3 I'll also be picking up a copy of Draw Furries maybe closer to my birthday and saving for a copy of Drawing Fantastic Furries *nods*

Also, also, I got a camcorder at christmas, already had 2 SD cards, though I find myself facing a problem now - my 17 inch macbook pro has an ExpressCard 34 slot, I don't know where to even start going for a card reader for this...any recommendations =3 ? Preferably one that sits flush with the side of the macbook >,.,> because...yeah, didn't even know what the point of that empty slot in the laptop was from when I got it till now ._. XD

Unfortunately, not everything is all smiles and happy around South East Queensland. You've probably heard on the news about floods right? Well, I came home on Saturday, the Mary River was over all roads leading south from Gympie...dad drove through the water and I'm bloody glad he did - yesterday, Gympie was pretty much cut off and stores were starting to evacuate. Today, Gympie is pretty much fucked, if I hadn't left when I did, I'd be stuck at Rainbow Beach for at least 2 weeks ._. the house there is on a gentle slope fairly high up, not in flood range but still...good to be home.

Fingers crossed for everyone in Queensland to be alright, what with all this flooding happening ._. best of luck everyone *nods*

So the swarmers were killed off, turns out they came from a lump of wood buried a good way from the house but still on the property that dad disturbed today, no idea where they are but it looks like they won't be at the house itself so *YAYS* this also means I'm back XD
