So I know I never post journals (though I really should), and I know you’ve all probably read your share of tribute journals, but I definitely think this warrants it.

Dragoneer, though I never met him in person, was one hell of a leader here on FA. Him, and his team, managed to really create a community here on FurAffinity. While I used DeviantART before, I found a home here on FA. And I genuinely don’t think I’d still be around if not for the work he put in, and the sacrifices he made. Not to mention the few times I had problems on here (looking at you mid 2010s lockout scare) and he personally responded to me attempting to help me, and assisted in the move over from my old account (which will not be named) to my current account. He was one hell of an admin.

Truth be told, I really don’t have any other alternatives to FA, and that really makes me nervous. I know there’s been rumors of FA being in jeopardy or closing down for good, and they are just rumors, the knowledge that a pillar of my social life, where I keep nearly all if my art and all my stories, where I’ve met most of my friends, is in jeopardy…well…scares the living hell out of me.

So while I don’t intend on going anywhere else in the short or medium turn, I know I probably should start looking. But, and this is a big but, I am confident that Dragoneer’s legacy will continue to live on in this site. The other admins will step in, and keep FA going for years to come in his name and through Frost Dragon LLC.

RIP Dragoneer, and a very much deserved thank you. You will be missed.

So after thinking it over a bit, I’m actually going to delete the earlier pics of Penny, using the story of the new one instead. I definitely like it a bit better, and I feel I put a slightly more cohesive story together for her.
So if you faved Penny the first time, definitely do so on the newer uploads!

So…I just realized I made a slight mistake with the whole “Penny” pics. I seem to have submitted (or scheduled) them twice, with two different stories I came up for her.
So now, I’m going to leave it to you guys, which series and story I keep for her.

So, I had a thought to ask this time:
What type of content do you want to see from me?

I do a lot of world-building (usually to keep me sane), often though the use of pictures and commissions. But what content that I post, and what characters, does everyone want to actually see? More of my sona Sabrina? More of another of my OCs? Or more side characters that I tend to come up with for a specific short story and world building element?

Hey, so, I don’t usually make journals. But, I just thought I’d ask in general:
What do you think of my current posting schedule, or do I need to attempt to increase the amount I post?
I have a massive backlog of pics I need to post still, numbering over 60 pics, with most of those hidden behind a creative block. Every pic generally needs to have a story for me. Something I somewhat struggle at writing at times.
So, am I posting too many at once when I do? Not enough at once? Too infrequently? Let me know.

They’re an amazing artist and friend, but they’ve been getting absolutely tortured recently. They need as much love and help as they can possibly get. Yes they draw other stuff besides just limbless, but they are relatively diverse. Please, help them out a bit. Show them your support! Give them a watch! I can assure you, they damn well earn it.

Last night, January 23rd, 2021, my long time icon and more recent friend  arakaraath, died from heart failure. He was...something else to me. While I may not have been as close to him as many have, the past few years I was close to him meant the world. He was the definition of a gentle giant. Large in the community, but very approachable. Although it took me nearly six years to actually contact him, the last six have truly been great. In many ways, he is why I'm so big on taurs and multi. His art was a huge influence on my character, and even his good nature is who I've largely inspired to be. And there is one story in particular that comes to mind when I think of him:

Back in high school, when I was still technically an underage fur, I had a tradition. I did indoor track for my school. I ran the 2-mile event. I’d run and be done. Then after the race, while I was cooling off, I’d rest up against a pillar or wall, and on my iPad, read Ara’s comic. Getting caught up week after week, for a comic that had been submitted years before. Very rarely did I break that. When I finally gained the confidence in college to contact him, that majorly changed things. It boosted my confidence even further. In a way, I feel like he was with me through those years. Boosting my confidence as a person and fur right when I needed it most. I would wait between seasons to continue reading his comic, year after year.
To this day I don't think I've ever finished his comic. Definitely something to get back to.

Ara, you are and will be extremely well missed.

So after two years of no journals, and through these tough times, I think it’s time to support one of my friends.

 Tydrian has come under constant attack for being transphobic and homophobic. Why, I have absolutely no clue. A simple look through his gallery will prove just how contrary to facts that is. He’s always been one of the most open minded people I know, so why suddenly in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic and BLM protests he’s become such a target, I will never understand.

Please, as my watchers and friends, I ask you to stand up against this treatment. Unless someone has done something truly and visibly vile, something that breaks from all human morals and customs, defend the innocent. Attacks of this kind are unwelcome and very much against what actually needs to be done to change the world.

So I ask one more time, support  tydrian and others being needlessly attacked, and fight for what is right, not what the mob says.

I don’t normally write journals anymore but this time I feel it was necessary. The greatest mind of our generation, Stephen Hawking, has passed at the old age of 76.

Hey everyone,
So in light of what happened the other day I am leaving...
Ah, not so fast. I am NOT leaving FA whatsoever. I simply rely on FA way to much both psychologically and socially. But during the attack, I nearly lost access to my account due to a problem with the associated email.
So, I have created two more accounts tied to safer and more readily accessible email accounts:  Headless-Sabrinataur, and  Sabrina-Wolftaur. I ask that people PLEASE give at least one of the two a watch, just in case FA is hit with another attack like that.

It is sad to say that Leonard Nemoy, the actor who played Spock many Star Trek films, has died at the age of 83 in Los Angeles. He made Spock the icon he is today. It is quite something to have him go. I...don't know what more to say than to quote his most famous line: Live Long and Prosper.

Just going to help raise awareness of a great artist, and a personal friend, who I feel could use a bit more exposure. Daniela Estrada, aka Danielaluv, is an upcoming artist. She focuses on photography, traditional arts such as painting, sketching, and drawing, but is also quite capable with Photoshop.

Hey, Sabrina here.
I'm just puting something out about my head collection I'm doing. Originally, it stared out as just a fantasy of mine: to have all of my friends heads in one spot to use and play with. Over the years however, it's gone the way I hope it would. Now I consider it more a collection of head shots, showcasing the most recognizable parts of most furries. At this point, although I do like having the heads in a collection and plan on keeping it, even if you aren't a modular (or didn't have your head taken off by me ) I wlll try to get you a head shot if you request it.
Just a quick little thought that I had to get out.

Oh, and for everyone who has been watching the news, you may have heard that my area got slammed by a record-setting blizzard. I actually had to leave my schools campus due to the high risk of flooding and large amounts of snow. I fled to my grandparents in the City of Boston, where we got slammed by more than 2 feet (~600 cm) of snow. Nothing we can't handle, although we were shut down yesterday and my school is still closed today. So I will be around most of today, and plan on catching the train back to school tomorrow.
