I went to cook breakfast this morning and was walking back into the kitchen to check on it when I stepped on the mat in the kitchen. We have one of those cooshy mats that is supposed to be better to stand on. Well it apparently has water under it. Mat went away... legs went WOOP. One went that way and the other went that way... now my hip feels like its been ripped out of socket. Maybe I should just stop cooking all together.

Yeah... I am just gonna start this by saying I am sorry and I am apparently retarded. I was making spaghetti last night and in the process of opening a can of tomato paste I fucked up. I went to stick the spoon in and scoop out the paste and basically shoved my right index finger knuckle down on the can lid. Lid? Yes the part that like sticks straight up when you open the can... yeah that pos. So I cut my finger to the bone basically on the knuckle. I cannot bend my finger and its all bandaged. That means I am basically fucked when doing anything. Since its my drawing hand... no arting. Typing is pecking with other fingers and basically fucking everything sucks. SUCKS. Why must it be my favorite finger?! Ugh.

Someone on IMVU stole Sacha and is using her, but I dunno how to make them stop or what I can even begin to do. I signed up just to send them a message and now I am sitting in limbo frustrated as hell and feeling like complete shit. Lemme reiterate in case anyone missed it... NOBODY has any permission what so ever to use any of my OCs, ESPECIALLY my fursonas. So beyond uncomfortable with this right now.

Still no power after the hurricane. They were cutting a tree down behind our house and like one house over that apparently fell on a power line. They said we could possibly have power back tonight... but who knows. Even if we get our power back I am not sure we would have cable or Internet because their nodes are down too. (Hubby works for them, inside connections!) Right now it's just waiting in limbo... reading books a lot and sketching. At least businesses are starting to open again so we have been able to get food other than sandwiches. Bleh. Aftermath sucks ass.

Right now they are saying mid week we might have power back. I am hoping and praying it is sooner than that. Right now we are doing a round Robin plugging phones into the car to charge. Quarter of the way through my book and I still cannot find my sketch book anywhere.

He came, he went. There isn't much damage but we don't have power. Who knows how long it will take for them to get the power up and running again. Hopefully not too long. In other news I cannot find my sketch pad, which really irritated the poop out of me.

Okay so I am absolutely assuming that I will probably lose power at some point because of the hurricane incoming. Its supposed to hit us tonight and last till Saturday? I dunno... just going off what the warnings and what not seem to be saying. At any rate we are under mandatory evac, so chances are if we do lose power we will not be getting it back for a bit. So here is the caviat to that... there isn't much to do without power, but I could draw! Yeah I have a sketch pad and some pencils and what not. So I could possibly maybe do some traditional stuff for folks while the power is out and maybe even like transfer it to digital... we will see. No guarantees, but if it happens... nice to have options, yes? So post refs...

In another note... anyone who says the hurricane is "exciting" or any other happy thing is a freakin' douche. Hurricanes ruin lives and cost outrageous amounts of money. Bad on you! Bad. >:|

So first my tablet broke and hubby was nice enough to buy me a new one since waiting I'd lose more money. Well now my computer blue screened today and I am petrified to do anything. Copying all my files over after I finally got it running again, then I am gonna let the husband try and figure out what the fuck went wrong. -.-

Tried everything, uninstalling drivers, reinstalling drivers, tried it on my husbands computer, and nothing is working for me.
