I have the same Damm avatar on, I put it on yesterday because I am a freakin nut about halloween. I bought it last year from RedSwipe, along with like five others exactly like it. Everyone knows my bouncing butt. *Angry foot stomp.*

Power keeps flickering, so art may be on hold till it passes. Gotta love coastal life.

Okay so I am fairly certain I produce bases quicker and cheaper than most people on FA, especially for the sheet number that I own and can offer. I am happy to do it, since I find them quick for the most part and relatively easy. Here is the catch though... I am going to have to start tacking on fees. I am sorry guys, I really did not want it to come to this, but seriously. There is a point where it's just taking advantage of me. Most of these bases, unless otherwise stated, do not come with interchangeable parts. Asking me to edit multiple things, ears, noses, expressions, wings, etc. is incredibly taxing (especially if there is shading involved). It's also taxing to work on an oc or sona that is incredibly complex (IE: More than 7 colors, no color palette, shaded refs, tattoos, etc.). If you come at me now and ask me to change 100 things or your character looks like they hit every hex code on the way to their ref sheet completion, I am going to have to charge an additional fee. Sorry but $5.00 for an hour or more of work is not worth it.

Okie dokie kiddos... so Halloween is coming up. Don't you give me any lip about it either. Not only are the stores already stocking Halloween goodies, but Netflix has its Halloween films up and running. So here are my thoughts and I wanna hear back from you lovely people...

I am thinking about doing a stream every Saturday until Halloween. Cause Sacha's Saturday Spooktacular, that's why. Anyway I wanna get people to come in and duo/triple stream with me so it's not just me doing my thing. I am thinking we can go through the lineup of "Halloween" movies that Netflix has picked out during the stream while offering some themed discount commissions as well.

I always see the same artists begging for help all the damn time? People seem to always fall for it to and go out of their way to help them. It's ridiculous. Here is a huge clue kids, if you go through their journals and more than one journal post a month for multiple months in a row begging for help and yet miraculously they keep buying art... chances are their "emergency" is that they want more art or are too damn lazy to pay their own bills and they know making a big deal about it will get people to do it for them. Primarily this infuriates me because I have had A LOT and I do mean A LOT of problems... hell I even talk about them here, but I don't beg anyone for financial help. I have never had emergency sales that I can recall and I do not do so on a repetitive basis. It blows my mind how many people take advantage of people who are willing to help, because they are genuinely good people. I watched my mother's family screw her for years because she had such a good heart and she would give until she had nothing. Open your eyes guys... people are liars and manipulators. Oh and for those liars and manipulators out there GROW THE FUCK UP AND PAY FOR YOUR OWN SHIT!!!!!!!!

Okay so I am posting g this from my phone so bear with me. I am now delayed. Yep, delayed. Out ac is out again and has been for two days now. They came and fixed it today and then it died again 30 minutes later. By the time they got backicked, several hours later, a freakin storm is rolling in and now our power is out. It's almost 100 in my house right now and the means I was using to keep my chinchillas cool is now out the fucking door. I am trying to find a solution... but guess what, no power, no art. I'll keep you guys updated.

Okay so I am trying to sign up and its slow as hell for me. Anyone else having issues? I am struggling here. If it's just me I might have to reach out to my internet company. If it is everyone, then I will just tough it out. What is it anyway? lol

My extended family sure knows how to make me feel crappy sometimes. My aunt called and had to probe me about work. When I told her I was doing art she essentially scoffed and said, isn't there a real job you could be doing? I tried to explain I have been doing better with this than I was with my part time job, but she really didn't want to hear it. According to her, I need to be around people. What she doesn't understand though is that I do not like being around people, at least not new people. I have a hard time keeping my cool when situations begin to become intense or stressful. I have anxiety, I have depression, its a nasty combo. It makes it hard to keep jobs and not to just turn into a basket case and become even more stressed than I already am. It's really just frustrating for me. This is the kind of negativity from my father that pushed me away from art when I was in school... then I floundered for years and have only really started to be happy again when I started to put time and energy into art. Maybe it is dumb, maybe I never will make a decent living doing this... but I want to at least try.
