Ugh, I can not express the anger that I feel every time I stumble across a fur on IMVU that I recognize as being a popular fur artist's character, and the dumbfounded faces I get when I explain to the person wearing it or the person who recreated it that it's wrong.
Some idiots have even tried to tell me it's no different than fan art.

He asked why everyone likes dirty songs, I said they were awesome and he told me my statement was slanderous. I corrected him and told him slander is spoken, so it's not slander. When written, it's called libel.

Someone prancing about in something yours, meant just for you and only for you?
I know I would FURIOUS!
I just had a discussion with a "friend" that had someone make her a fur of a famous little otter girl on IMVU to wear on her avatar, and she doesn't see how it's wrong.
She considers it "fan art."
Not the same thing. By making it and wearing it on a 3D representation of yourself, you are hence CLAIMING the design as yours. It becomes an extension of yourself, and that is by no means "okay."
I ran around in circles for a bit, and she still didn't understand how it was wrong. This exact person, only a day before, had a hissy fit over someone copying her avatar's outfit.
Double standards much?
After repeating myself over and over, and her still not getting why it's wrong, I left the chat I was in with her.
Buh.. Some people seriously baffle me.

Would you hire someone to work at your company if you found out they harassed people every day outside of work? No, you wouldn't. That would just be stupid.
The same rules should apply when appointing a mod to an online group, chatroom or forum.
What the person does outside the group/forum/chatroom should be taken into account when considering that person for a moderator, right?
Honestly, would you want someone who trolls and harasses people given a position of power?
You'd want someone mature and responsible working for you, right?

Posted 14 years agoSo apparently on IMVU there is a way to get around products in your catalog being hidden so that people can buy them despite the fact that they are HIDDEN.
I just discovered that a certain individual who shall from here on out be referred to as "stupid-thieving c*nt" for lack of a better term, and she has been doing it to several developers including myself.
I am making it my personal quest to have this individual disabled and this "bug" fixed.
I messaged stupid-thieving c*nt already and informed her that actions would be taken, and I advise all developers with hidden items in their catalog to go and super price them.
I've also posted a thread in the forms about this "bug".
"Look.. ive had enough threats to me right now then i know what to do with.. Ive emailed imvu and they said thats NOT there fault that the client had a darn glitch... Ive bought ALOT OF your furs at the same time i so called bought your hidden furs so do what you wish. I paid for the furs i didnt STEAL them."
Hahahahahahaaaa....Bull crap. This is a message I got back after I confronted the person, then she blocked me. Of course she did,
She knows full well what she did and how wrong it is.
A friend of mine confronted her face to face and she admitted to never speaking to IMVU staff about the bug, so the message she sent me is utter and complete BULL SHIT!
I've submitted several help tickets as have other users and customers whose stuff she's stolen in an attempt to have her disabled and/or IP banned.

So, I was reading through the general discussions topic of a group I'm a member of, and two people started discussing babies because one of them is pregnant. This was all well and good until this comment was made by someone who shall from here on be referred to as S.
"i really dont want kids. id just have the thing aborted."
Now S, being very young, is a bit ignorant. But this comment, to be frank... PISSES ME THE FUCK OFF!
You don't want to have kids? Fine, close your fucking legs!
There are few situations where an abortion is okay. If the mother and/or baby will die if they don't, or if the mother was raped. If you want to willingly spread 'em without being on the pill, because we all know - condoms break, then take responsibility for your damn actions. No one forced you, and that human never asked to be inside you.
