Yes its a silly little holiday but we need more reasons to be cheerful^^

So 2025 is here and I have some plans.

Fitness wise I'm going to continue to work hard and and start to increase my distances. I've signed up for my first Half Marathon in October via a charity place so I have a fundraising target.
If folks are interested I can link time to the giving page for it.

As of yesterday I have a Quest 3 so I'm looking to get into VR stuff more. I have a model on the way which I can't wait to use but I need to meet up with more folks in the VR space so any help would be apperceived.

I'm also looking to travel a bit more. I have park runs in country's I want to get done so I'll be looking into that solidly too. Job is currently still stable and house is fine so I'm very thankful for that.

As for this site, I want to get more art done, both of dragon and protogen me^^
I'm in a que for one place currently but would love to get more pieces sorted out.

Aside from that.....not a great deal has been happening. Funds are still survivable and still hunting promotion so I can get some more arts done and do more fun stuff like cons. Really need to get my protogen/FFXIV job picture done as it looks awesome in my head.

Been looking at starting up on VRChat as well...though I need a VR system and an Avi for myself. Again funds are hampering that but I have some ideas on what I'm aiming for. Not full body due to lack of room so probity a Quest 2 with a cable to run it via my tower.
Wonder if I could use my old custom SL model for it...probally not.

Aside from that, happy grinding away on FFXIV, No Mans Sky, Deep Rock Galactic (with Kobold mods) and Monster Hunter Now.

So yeah just a check in with base. Life continues and I'm still very much around^^

As for me, life goes on. Since getting a mortgage I've not been able to commission anything for a bout a year due to the Cost of Living Crisis here. I have ideas planned for both dragon and protogen me but until I can improve incoming money I won't be able to upload new stuff here that much.
Keeping afloat though which is the main thing currently.
Sadly aside from Furcation 2022 (which was great btw), life has just been boringly adult.
New PC tower now so I'm on 3050 GPU rather than the 960 I had but I had to ask family to help pay for it.

Working on my fitness a fair bit thanks to my PT. Getting new PB's for weights though my 5K time is down a bit due to change in body mass. Did my first Tough Mudder which was awesome and looking to do more.
Thinking about my first half marathon now.

So yeah, bit of a "Sorry for being quiet" update but contact changles are still there if you want to chat or catch up^^

So Towers United is awesome fun with friends.
And after using a protogen model (was a bit more angled so might have been prima.... Will need to check) I really want a protogen form for Saethwr^^ Protos are awesome ^^
So now I just need someone who can beepy beanify my dragon.....and he's gonna need a method of switching forms (Dragon form/MLP form/Proto form)......maybe incorporate my Fitbit into it somehow.
Gotta love having ideas but no artistic ability in the slightest.

Still i got stuff to keep me busy. Animal Crossing for one and Safi'jeva in Iceborne hit the PC last night too.
Was gonna drive everyone in my house to the Denny's in Swansea for a birthday meal (UK only has to, the other being in Glasgow) but pizza will do I guess.
My Personal trainer is going to give online session a go so hopefully I'll still be getting in shape. After dropping 3 stone in 2 and a half years as well as vastly changing shape i hope so.

Just wanted to give a quick update since their hasn't been any uploads in over a year.

I'm still about, just that Money hasn't been.
Having a mortgage means I've had no money spare to get any kind of artwork done until I either get a better paid job or a promotion at my current one. I did have one lined up but that fell through after being on the reserve list for a year. That and dental issues popping up out of noware means I've had to hold back on things art wise.

I'm still going to cons and I'm gonna to try my hardest to make it out to Eurofurance next year via the Furball run if I can.
Hopefully stuff should start to improve next year.

Tom is an awesome bloke who's thrown his heart into this project for the past ten years and I really want to see him do well. The book is being sold at the Tate Modern shop for hecks sake^^

Pride month is here and its given me time to think about myself.

I've always classed myself as bisexual for...best part of ten years now but now that I'm older I don;t think its the right one to describe me anymore.

After chatting with friends and doing some reading up, I think I'm more under the Pansexual definition, especially after taking to my friends, many of whom are Transgender or Genderfluid.

So yeah...not much of a change but more of an understanding of the words and broadening of the mind really.

Don't be afraid to rediscover yourself.

You might remember a while ago I got my photos taken by Tom Broadbent for his project "At Home with the Furries".

These were photos of myself and tons of fellow UK furs in suit doing everyday tasks like mowing the lawn, playing video games, hanging out the washing etc.

The main project is over but he now wishes to publish his photos as a collectable book.

As a result he has opened up a kickstarter to get the project funded.

I've been friends with Tom throughout this project and I'd love to see this book a reality.

Thats why I'm gonna yell about it and ask you guys ti check it out and maybe throw some shines at it.

Again...been ages since posted here.

Under a month now and I turn 30.
Guess that makes me a grey mussel or something?

Other than that going on...I should be in my own place by then summer. Was gonna be early the the pain of being stuck in a chain came up. Also possibly a new car but waiting for a particular version to come out over here.

Sound be a fun year all in all....already booked for Confuzzled and I'm planning on Furcation again.

More art is on the way too.

Aside from that some family stuff has happens. My Grandfather passed away last week but he had a full life so we're having a memorial rather than a church funeral for him.

Hopefully I'll remember t put updates here more often.

Also my Pokemon Go Plus arrived today.
Taken it for a test run and its so nice to be able to see wear I'm walking rather than the phone the whole time.


Anyway...here is a breakdown

1. Link your Go Plus to your phone via Bluetooth. Once successful you can safely lock your screen and keep the app running in the background.
2. Go out walking until a flashing light appears on your Go Plus.
3. If the light is blue and flashes twice, you've found a Poke Stop. Press the middle button to collect your goodies.
4. If it flashes green...A Wild Pokemon has appeared!!!
Press your button to attempt to catch it (will take Pokeball from your inventory)
4a. You'll get a pulsing white light. If this goes off less than three times then flashes red three times, it's broken out.
4b. If it flashes 3 three times then flashes a strobe of red, green and blue.....your got the pokemon^^
5. Any eggs you have in incubators and buddy pokemon you have WILL STILL get distance counted towards your hatch/candy distance.
Pros:
No more sore necks/becoming the next tabloid headline because you were looking at your phone and not where you were going you plonker.
You can enjoy where you are walking a lot more and you can be social without a phone in the way.
Huge phone battery saver. Since your not looking at the game you won;t be killing your phone.
Cons:
If it disconnects you won;t get a warning to say it has. If its not reacting in ages, just double check the game.
You need to be pretty close to the Poke stops to trigger them with the Go Plus.

Personally...I think it was worth the wait^^
