Since I feel weird uploading 95% of these anywhere else, made this for having one nice little spot where I can bug people with my three dimensional shenanigans. A fair warning, I am still in the process of uploading old stuff.

A Fresh Start
General | Posted 11 years agoSo, recently had a bit of a falling out with my dev group of the past almost two years (long story, very meh, but it was for the best for everybody). With the skills I developed during that time, and this new free time, I've actually resumed work on a much older project of mine. And with the help of
ShepettanPride, it's become something I'm really excited for. A mutual friend of ours has also come on board to handle the bulk of the programming at present, something I've been working on getting at least a barebones knowledge of myself.
But, why am I talking about all this? Well, as development progresses, I really hope to get some excitement churned up, and additional people on board, especially with regards to things such as voice acting. But, that's all well ahead of us, we're basically just starting out on this. But, never too early.
So, what is the idea? It's set to be a faction-based first person shooter, in which teams of players actually construct their bases prior to blowing each other off of the face of the Earth. The setting is an alternate Victorian era timeline, with healthy doses of anthros (furries), synthetics (robotics), Steampunk, Retrofuturism, and Dieselpunk, depending on your faction.
Our current roster includes ten player classes and a planned eight total factions, though the bulk of the factions are planned to be released once we have a working Alpha up and running. At current, we're set to be just a Source mod, but, who knows what the future holds?

General | Posted 11 years agoSo, got home from work last night with severe chest pain. We called my EMT brother-in-law over who after checking me out recommended I go to the ER. Despite the pain having subsided considerably by the time he was done, I still went, where they did x-rays, and found out I had a spontaneous pneumothorax, with 10-15% of my left lung having collapsed. Stayed overnight for observation (with an EKG that'd start beeping whenever I got close to falling asleep, so didn't do much of that at all), didn't show improvement, so stayed for most of today until being released, with a follow-up next week and an order for no work until they give the all clear.
So, that was my day (well, ~21 hours). Good to be back. If you'll excuse me, you guys left me a lot of art to go through. <3
