The other day I had a bit of a scare. AS I was drawing with my tablet, trying something a bit more advanced then I usually do. (Perspective circles!) I noticed a strange notch in my drawing, like an ECG line. It was consistent too. My first thought was; "Oh crap! My tablet is broken; it lost a line of sensitivity! Better get a new one." That thought was quickly followed with "Crap! I still need a bus pass for June!" kinda hate that feeling.

But it's not like I draw much, so it wouldn't be replaced with an expensive one. However, sage is trying to be more responsible, and already made a big purchase this month. I'll try to draw on it too! Thought I will need a jot pen so my writing stops looking like a doctor's. Touch screens without styluses are fun, but they are crap for precision work, like clean writing, or art. Kinda sucks how the majority of technology is dictated by the market, instead of sense. I miss viewfinders on cameras, and so do all the old people who come into my store to buy one.


Anyways! My point! My tablet isn't broken, seems to have been a glitch, maybe a shitty cable. I don't know how wacom tablets break, but they are built like bricks. I know this. My old graphire from like... 8 years ago still works. It's just really small, really, really small. I'm going to take advantage of this and draw again, but I have a bit of rethinking to do on my perspective circle thingy. Like "Does illustrator have a tool for that?"

Sio's journal and review on "The Hunger Games" movie has generated quite a bit of drama, and a few people have told him that for his opinions to have any standing, he has to write a better novel, and get a better fan base.

Well I've decided to take up that challenge as well. I doubt i'd ever have as big a fanbase, as from what i hear, Hunger Games follows the success formula (leading to poor character, e.g.: Twilight.) No matter, I'll press on and write it my way.

So I've been doing some sitting and thinking as to why I haven't been able to do anything remotely creative. The answer I have come up with has blown me away in its simple nature, yet profound and complicated I'm actually mad at myself for not thinking of it sooner.

My theory is that there is a doppelganger of myself running around the city, being chased by sexy male nurses and a rather "excited" Sergal-like creature. Since it's during the winter things are frozen to other things and...

Honestly, I've been bored. I have fallen into a bit of a routine, where 75% of my time is spent at work. Not a good mix. All work and no play makes Sage a dull boy. Now thankfully those moments I get at work are spent doing something fun, however the notion that I have to go back to work still lingers on my brain, like the tumor the doctors missed (joke, I'm fine). I may be wrong but I think that has caused me to enter a circle of "I won't have time, I have to work." Those of you are unemployed you do not know how lucky you are some days. What I wouldn't give to be unemployed again, be able to relax at my pace and live my way. But poor...

Bleh, Anyways. I'm going to play an MMORPG called Wakfu. Square Enix helped with its North American release, and so far it seems fun! I'm only level3 for now, but who knows? I hate PayPal. but i'm not just going to rant about it willy nilly. I did my homework!

I have always had issues with them, be it a delay in transferring money, a fine for money that was used while I was transferring money or waiting until my bank account was empty to try and pull money out, two weeks after I had purchased something. Now granted these are small issues, except that last one, it cost me an extra 25$

I'm not going to leave you all hanging though. A proper rant should offer solutions and alternatives, and I found a few.

Solution #1: Interact E-transfer.
Interact is the system used in North America by banks and credit institutions for all card and digital fund transactions. Basically, if you live in NA and have a debit or credit card, you already use Interact. In Canada, they have set up the e-transfer system. For a charge of a dollar (oh no! a dollar! Paypal can charge you more.) you can send money directly from your back account to someone else's. All you need is an email they can be reached at. Interact doesn’t tell them anything about your bank account. they just say "Hey! <Person> wants to send you money! click this link to go to our website, then pick your bank!" you do that, your bank gets told you want to accept money, and then you sing in. 've used this system to collect money from my parents for school, as well as repay my friends for a lazerquest party.
Check and see if this is available in your country, please!

Solution #2: Google Wallet.
Google already knows everything about you (apparently), so why not let them know your bank account? wait a sec… oh hey! they only want my credit card info! Why is this ok? Because a credit card is not connected to your main account, can be frozen at any time and your credit institution probably does ACTUALL investigations when you claim fraud. Awesome huh? I haven't used this guy yet, but I've grown to trust Google. I'll be signing up for this and giving you guys a nice report on my findings.
Note: If you don’t have a credit card, this probably doesn't help you, huh?

Solution #3 Mail.
Until I can locate another service that could be used for instant payments, I will have to suggest mailing a check or money order. Talk to your bank and see if they can suggest other means to send money as well.

I just noticed today that I haven't posted a new journal in 8 months! Holy crap! So here I am, going to be the biggest creepy ever, and type this in bed.

So what have I been doing? Well for the last few months I have been on summer vacation, that why we got some art from me, but before that I was in school, and had no time to be creative! That did not fly with me, cause my teachers then wanted me to be creative in class. My brain does not work that way. I am creative when I get hit by an idea, or get time to be creative, not when someone says so. But I need to work on that, and whip my muse into shape. If I am going tomatoes a novel, this wishy washy "create when you are ready" nome sense won't make me a NY best seller.

So what else was I doing? Hanging out on SL! That's right, sage is on SL. A lot.

I've also been meeting some Cooleo local furs! I'm on my iPad so making a user like is too hard for me right now, so here is the name of the Cooleo fur; Sioteru.

Sioteru takes commissions, and she's good at art, seriously good. We were playing kinectimals, and she drew that annoying little bumble holding a knife having gone insane. Cause I swear. He's the one who killed the captain. If you play that game, beware. Of you tell him you have to go, he might snap and try to kill you. I've heard the kinect has a built in DIgitization Lazer.

So that is what I have been doing, now for what I am going to do!

Draw more. draw lots more. Going into animation! Starting with a class to teach me to draw better! So I'll be posting what ever I can up here for you guys to see, and then we can track my improvements! For those of you who want to draw but think you can't (you can! You can draw!) definitely reference your works. Look at other artists drawings, photos of people in the pose you want to draw as well and all sorts of things. It really helps!

OK, I have to get ready for work now, so time to get out of my warm comfy, Cody bed and into the cold harsh reality of daily life in a modern world....

Don't you just love going to a hair salon, getting a complex and really nice looking hair style? I love it, cause they always use the most expensive products that I could never afford, so for a moment, this little wolf gets to sit in the lap of luxury. (and that lap belong to a person who gives the most amazing head massages! whoo!)

Yes I go to a salon, I do not take shame in that only pride. *Murrs*

So the stuff they use is called "Shu Uemura" and I think there are only 3 cities where you can buy it here in canada; Ottawa, Vancouver, and Toronto. It's imported from Japan, and made with the most kick ass ingredients, like deep sea water and jasmine extract!

Anyways, my real story is; No matter how amazing the product and powerful the hold, you go to bed with that stuff in your hair, you are going to wake up with the worst case of bed head known to all living things. The cotton fiber extracts have prevent even my most powerful hair brush from taming the wild beast on my head.

Curse you Shu Uemura! Your comprehension for the art of hair and attention to the finer details in your products has given my a momentary nightmare!

I've been searching for a while now, and it's just not coming to me.
I'm starting to wonder if I even have a fursona.

Perhaps I'm rushing things too much.
I've found the most amazing place in my head, that I plan to use, along with a persona i've found.
