I'm going to try and make it to Morphicon, I live in Columbus so I really have no excuse not to go. I also want to try to get in Artist Alley, but before I do I need to build up some more work. Just need to recommend some choice viewing real quick. First off if you like action/romance animes I just finished watching Utawarerumono and it was excellent. It takes some weird turns towards the end but eventually it all comes together. Its definitely got its sad moments but for the most part its pretty upbeat. Its only 26 eps long, I watched it on youtube using a playlist. Oh and its littered with half furs, angels, and demons if that makes a difference. Anyway, the series deserves some love so check it out. Other animes I'd recommend, include Elfin Lied and Claymore, though neither are nearly as cheery as Utawarerumono.

Second, everyone should see Nocturna. Find a way, whatever way you can to see this film because as far as I'm concerned its animation gold. I would die to work on a project this moving, unique, and beautiful. Its about a boy adventuring into the night world and meeting all the strange creatures there. Its stunning, at least look up a trailer, you'll be glad you did.

I was hoping this would be funnier but oh well. ^_^

So I recently moved back to Ohio, with no car, no job, no pet, and virtually no friends. I had to give up the life I'd spent the past 5 years building for nothing and its left me confused and depressed. Now its a month later and I haven't moved a step forward instead here I sit 6lbs fatter in my pajama pants ranting to the net about my terrible fate.

Its pathetic.

So there was an earthquake the other night, which for those of you who don't know we don't get earthquakes very often in Ohio. It was surprising and unnerving. It shook things up, and I couldn't help but think that I ought to be shaking things up too. I guess I'm getting sick of feeling pathetic, of hiding in drawing and playing on the computer.

Granted this little break from life has allowed me to get caught up on all my commissions (for those of you who haven't given me current addresses expect a call from me soon so I can send these out). I drew an entire series of zodiac images (non-furry art). And I started work on my Halloween project. Hogwarts themed badges. I'll be posting two samples in a few days.

Anyway, now you're all caught up on my life and art. I'll be posting more work soon, so keep an eye out for that.

Ok so I didn't get anything I drew at the con up yet, mostly cuz i'm a lazy slacker, hehe. But I have some rough badges in the scraps section and I think I'll have 2 finished up tonight(one is actually done already I think ^_^ ) once these are done, I'm going to open up for commissions(not that I expect anyone will want one, heh) and start working really hard to get one of the things I drew at the con finished (I've been coloring it on and off for a while). Anthrocon was sooooo excellent, I made so many new friends, did an art trade and drew a couple new pieces. Theres a rumor there may be new projects in my future with some of the artists I hung out with (oooOOOooo!, mysterious) so you may start seeing some a big jump in my posting. I really need to get some coloring done, take a few tutorials find a functional style for myself. I think good things are going to come from this, I haven't been this excited about just drawing in a really long time. ^_^

So I got a lot of school work done today and submitted 3 things tonight and prolly gonna put up a forth yet before I crash. I wanna get opinions on a demon that may or may not stay in my flat work section of my portfolio. But all the good of the day has been over shadowed by the fact that my corn snake has gone missing. Anyone who knows about corns knows they are escape artists and at some point my little snowy guy, Che Che slipped out of his tank. Any advice anyone has to perhaps safely lure him out would be helpful. I didn't get home until late tonight but tomorrow morning I'm cleaning everything doing a full apartment search. Hopefully hes just curled up somewhere in the laundry, warm and safe. I really, REALLY, hope thats the case, but I also know that worrying myself to death wont do any good. So I'm just trying to keep going, like I said tomorrow I'll clean everything.
