The current set of helldivers is set to be finished this week. I know a few people have been eager to get one for themselves and I know its frustrating to have such a small window, thank you everyone for being patient and understanding. I have been having a lot of fun working on everyone and making them into Helldivers and getting to work in that universe is very fun. So I have been going through a lot these last few years. I will spare the long explanation but the good news is: things are getting better! I have been working all the while, which means I have a LOT of overdue art to publish. I will be fixing this now by posting as daily as I can manage. Expect to see a lot from me, its going to take well into next year for me to post it all.

Hey everyone. I am posting this journal to let people know that I am closing all commissions until further notice. If you need a TLDR check below. I will try and explain what is going wrong for those who are concerned. Here we go: Currently I owe more work than I am comfortable with and I have a hard time saying "No" to all the fun ideas people come to me with. Due to the issues stemming from Covid and contracting it my levels of stress have been far too high to manage. To make this matter worse I have been suffering through a return of my Carpal Tunnel Syndrome which limits the amount of time I can work each day, if not making it impossible. These complications have slowed down my work immensely and I have fallen into the artist's trap of taking commissions despite having a stack of work waiting to be started. The terrible truth is: I need to pay rent. Right now I have enough in savings to afford a little time to focus on the owed work without taking new ones. That is what I will be doing. Thank you so much for reading through this, I look forward to being able to delete this journal in the future when I have overcome this hurdle.


TLDR: Covid sucks, my health sucks and its making it hard to work. I wont be taking any commissions until I have completed ALL my owed work.

As it says in the subject, I have received a positive test result for Covid. Since last Monday I had been feeling pretty shitty which led to getting the test in the first place. I am unsure exactly when I will get better and I will update as soon as I pull through. For now though I ask that everyone hold tight. Commissions will be worked on whenever I feel up to the task but my priority for the coming weeks is going to be bedrest. This isn't how I wanted to start 2021 but I pray it is only a small speed bump to a bright new year.

Hey everyone! You all deserve a long overdue update as to what is going on in Sajik land. It has been a while since I last posted anything and there is a perfectly good reason for that: I am lazy. Wish it was a joke but that is the truth of it. I have been more active on my twitter https://twitter.com/cinderkiss since its easier and faster to post on that, but I will be posting here again soon. The real reason, aside from the laziness, is that I have been super busy working on commissions and preparing for a big move into a nicer living condition with my partner. I will be upgrading from living, eating and working in a 12x11' room to a nice three bedroom apartment. That's right, I am going to have an office! The idea of being able to work and sleep in different places for the first time in a decade fills me with such excitement I cant even describe it. Until that time I am busy keeping up with commission work, packing for the move and keeping myself mentally sane throughout. This just means I am a little slow on the posting. Have no fear, I will post my backlog once I am set up in the new place in a couple weeks. From there I expect my art to become far easier to do with the dedicated work space. To be honest, part of the reason I can even afford that is from all the wonderful support from my commissioners who enable me to work as a part time artist. Yall are the real heroes of that story. So yes! I am alive, things are getting better and expect more soon!~ <3

So the year is pulling to a close. It has been an adventurous art year for me with some really exciting growth and development. I would like to ask my readers/watchers what they have enjoyed with my art this year. What content did you enjoy and what would be fun to see from me in the future? Another question I would like to ask is; how am I doing? How do you think I could improve moving forward into 2019? I would love to hear your thoughts <3

It is that time of year again. The end of the summer convention season. For me this is the marker to a new beginning, more so than New Years Eve. Before me rests a whole year to practice, grow and evolve as an artist, both in the Furry fandom and beyond. In the past I have left such reflections and plans to myself but I want to involve myself more with my followers and fans, so below you will find my roadmap for the remainder of 2018 and well into 2019! I look forward to my growth over the next year and I cannot wait to see where we end up! (TLDR at the end)

Rebrand:

Before anything else is said let’s address my “rebranding”. Many have come to know me by “Sajik” which is a name I chose before even understanding what FA was or where I was going to go as a young artist. Today I have grown into a furry illustrator I never could have imagined when I made my account back in 2011. With that in mind I have created a new name for myself moving forward: Cinderkiss. In the coming years why I have chosen this name will become more clear, but for now let's just say it is a term rooted in my head world where all non fanart or commission work is based. For now I plan to use Cinderkiss for my name in any new site or place I represent myself. For nostalgic reasons I will keep Sajik here on FA. I hope this clears up any confusion for people in the future and that it lays out my plans for all of my followers. Now, onto the goodies! What am I doing this next year?

Patreon
I have already launched a patreon which has produced some sexy content. I have chosen to embrace this platform as a way to enable followers to influence the content I draw through suggestions on my Discord server and voting on art every month. Growing this channel will permit me to spend even more time producing furry artwork and the various kinks we all enjoy from my gallery. Completed work will always be available to everyone eventually but being on Patreon will allow early access and sneak peaks well before public release. Here is how I plan to grow Patreon over the year with help from my supporters.

Offering sketches and work in progress artwork that normally does not get posted on other gallery websites.
Sexy Fan Art: I am here to produce sexy artwork and there are so many fantastic characters out there to draw! Your voting will help determine who shows their goods on camera
Animations! I have been practicing animation techniques in my free time and making some sexy animatics would be a huge treat!
3D artwork: I spent a lot of time learning 3D modeling for environments and characters. Exploring 3D modeling of anthro characters and animating them would be really fun.
World Building: All of my personal artwork takes place in a unique world filled with sexy creatures doing naughty things. This platform will enable me to produce materials for everyone to enjoy and get into the world.
Comics: With world building comes the world itself. I have two fantastic comics I want to start, one fantasy themed and the other science fiction. Patreon will help get both of these off the ground and into the fandom.
Tutorials: I have been at this art thing for a while and there is a lot I could teach aspiring artists, or even just to share my process. This is something I will do if the interest is shown.
More to come! There is no limit to what we can get out of Patreon. If I achieve enough support I could make producing furry art my full time job and offer crazy cool stuff to everyone!

Furaffinity, SoFurry, E621 and others

I have long kept a presence on many furry websites, some much more than others. I would like to change that, posting my work across new sites or reviving dusty old ones. Even with the Patreon mission above I still take commissions and work on my own stuff which patreon does not support yet. All of that will still be posted on my galleries for everyone to enjoy, and that will not change. I usually post one or two pieces a month, sometimes with large gaps. We won't be doing that anymore. There is a lot I want to accomplish, both in practicing my skills and developing my furry art as a place for people to enjoy many different facets of the fandom. Here is my plan for everything gallery related:

NSFW: I will always enjoy drawing sexy furry and scalie characters. Expect much more of it! I will be producing much more of my personal work and characters while patreon will be creating Pinups of popular characters. I will also be sharing more sketch work, allowing everyone to see what I am playing around with outside my official work and commissions.

SFW: About 80% of my gallery is NSFW and I want to make safe for work a little more common, in the form of clothed pin up pieces or even really cool sketches or illustrations. This kind of work will also be more common with the production of my comic and world art so there is that to look forward to!

Twitter: I want to be more accessible for my followers and I think this is the platform that will allow people to see what I am up to on a more regular basis between art releases. I will be most easily accessible on my Patreon Discord server, but this should be a great middle ground for people who want to keep in touch with me but do not want to use Patreon



In Summary:

I will be pumping out a lot of awesome and fun work in the future, branching into 2D animation, 3D modeling, comic work and Patreon. This will be an exciting year to follow me and my work here on FA or abroad on my other sites. If you have any questions for me let me know in the comments or on my twitter (when that is made).
