So I have never played Monster Hunter but after getting my hands on the demo for PS4 I am super excited for it. Anyone else going to give it a go on PS4? The monsters are all so damn cool and I love the designs of the creatures, armor and weapons. Needless to say I will be doing fanart for it, I have already sketched up the Great Jagras doing his iconic omnomnom which will be coming soon! Maybe on release day!

I had thought to move all my activity there, to start fresh with new content and art for y'all to enjoy. After a good amount of thought I think I will try to maintain both accounts, one for my personal projects and characters, and another for dirty and fetish art. I have been learning art as a hobby for a few years now. It has been a fun journey filled with colorful people and interesting projects ranging from concept work to pictures that would make a sailor blush, hopefully. School has always been a priority for me. From 3D modeling to 2D art classes, I tried my best to choose an academic path which would improve my art skills professionally and for my hobbies. I will not name the school but everything boiled down to a big waste of time and money, resources I will never get back. The painful lesson I learned is that, for the most part, art schools are not equipped to teach Digital Art. The digital art industry is a new and thriving beast which walks the line between traditional skills and modern technology. My college did not have the staff experienced enough to teach, or the programs honed enough to improve their students. Every year classes were going down and popping up with new programs taught by adjunct professors (part time, under paid, professors who in my college's case were senior or recently graduated students) who did not have enough experience in their fields to get into the industry they were teaching students for. Students were basically teaching students how to improve and get into the art industry even though they had never achieved that result. The School was so toxic to its students that the few students who did get notable jobs in big companies distanced themselves from the college, most of those same students even ignored professors and spent more time learning from outside classes and professionals on their own time. Needless to say the last 6 years of my back and forth education has resulted in a giant waste of time and the intense urge to bitch about it to anyone who will listen. But what does this have to do with you, me and my furry artwork? I will tell you! I am going to take on a new name and pour my efforts into becoming the best artist I can be, relying on my own drive and the desires in the arts. I will be putting up new pages on many furry websites to get my name out there and try to make a living providing art to those who enjoy furry artwork, whether it be bad ass, sexy or both! This journal is to keep all of you, my watchers and fans, informed of my decision and the why of it, and to hopefully bring you all with me for the next exciting step forward in my career as an artist. Hey everyone! I am planning on attending Anthrocon in Pittsburgh this year and I am aiming for a spot in the Artist's Alley! This will be my first time holding a booth/presenting my work for people to see and buy. Anyone have ideas on cool things they enjoy seeing or buying when walking the convention floors? ^^

So it has been a while! I want to write this journal to let everyone know I am still alive and kicking! I have been struggling through some hardware/software problems over the last month but with the help of some tech savy friends I will be up and running soon! I tell you what, nothing makes me rage more than Photoshop lagging when it shouldn't be...it is the worst. Once these issues have been solved and I rearrange my work space to be more comfortable I will be well under way with my commission work. Except to hear more from me soon!

IT'S SUMMER! Time for some updates on life and my artwork! The weather is cool and sunny, the sky is blue and the semester is officially over! Going to an art college has been a truly awakening experience. Already I have met some inspirational professors and fellow students who all make me want to push my skills and follow my dreams! -so sappy-

Life Updates (skip to next paragraph if you could care less haha)

So I have spent the last four months drawing nonstop in traditional media. I have had some spare time to play around in digital but not much else. Needless to say I learned some things! Most of my work has been hanging in the halls for display, four of my pieces were specially selected for display at the college open house so I am completely floored about all of that. This brings me to my recent realizations. Over the last few weeks I have been talking to a recent graduate of KCAD and a friend of mine since I moved to town. He recently graduated with one of the highest honors in our program, the Excellence Award. One night I was talking with him about the school, the faculty and his and my future after graduation. In this conversation he told me "Kyle, you could out paint most of the faculty in the school. You are that good." he went on to mention there being only one other teacher at the school who could floor either of us with his skill. Normally I would not credit that statement much but spending time in this school has, in fact, shown me something about myself and my work. I AM actually good at this stuff. I started drawing for fun and for commissions about four years ago and I, incorrectly, linked the number of commissions I made and money earned with the value of my artwork. It is good to be critical but not when it prevents one from seeing their own worth. My skills still have a long way to go, but I have made the realization that I am farther along than I think. I have been the type of person who criticizes themselves into the dust and depends on the praise of others to keep themselves going. "You are your own worst critic" could not be more appropriate for how I think of myself and my art. This summer will be a time to beat that mentality of mine into the dust and start standing tall with my work. Not only that but I will be working on something else that has been bothering me, my weight! Now I will try not to sound like a douche here but four years ago I was one hot piece of stud. Between a self destructive relationship and sitting at a computer all day doing 3D modeling I gained a lot of weight. There is no time like EXACTLY THIS MOMENT to fix that. One of my old friends from high school is a doctor and body builder. This guy could dead lift three of me without breaking a sweat. He and I are going to sit down this weekend and get me started on a healthy meal plan and this little program called Insanity. I used it once before back in High School so I know it is going to kick my ass all summer. So yes, this summer will be a fun one for personal and physical growth. It will be fun seeing what happens!

Art Account Update

So it is that time! Summer! The time of freedom and fun~ I have spent the last four months drawing from 8am to 6pm every day. Now classes are over and I plan to turn that time toward artwork for my portfolio and for my gallery here! Some of you may have noticed I took down my commission price sheet a couple months ago. So I have been on FA for a while now. It has been a fun time all in all. Over the years I have evolved as an artist, always looking to improve my skills and tackle this thing called a "style". Still working on that bit, however, I have drawn a great many things in this time, from honest G rated work to things most people who enjoy R rated movies would need a moment to process. Mental scaring aside I have always had fun working with my commissioners and filling out my gallery with interesting things for people to view. What I wonder at this point it: What is it YOU watch me for? I am very curious! No need to be shy about it, I would not dare judge anyone for their tastes ^^ It will be fun to talk about what people like in my work, or more importantly: what they want to see! What would you like to see more of? What do you think could make my work better? I consider myself a professional when it comes to artwork so constructive critique is something I gobble up~ I look forward to hearing what everyone has to say <3

So it is that time again! School is in session and I am grinding my face on the drawing board. All sorts of fun art and sound design classes this semester. I am still working on commissions and personal art but things will be slow due to balancing the fun and homework projects. So after 35 hours of flying, layovers, and driving...I am home! It was an exhausting trip back from New Zealand but worth every second. I will certainly miss that country but I am glad to be back home. Going an entire month with nothing but a cellphone with no reception is quite a shock for someone like myself who is connected to the internet almost 24/7. Anyways I will go into more detail later, for now I am home and on the road to recovery...this 16 hour time difference hurts! Will post more soon! It has been a busy week. Looks like everything will be going down this Saturday. My final move, at least for the next 2-3 years. I cannot express just how excited I am to be able to stay in one place for more than a year. The constant moving has made it hard to settle down and relax, not when I have to plan for another move in only X months. Now it will be in only X years! BWAHAHAHAHA. Regardless I want to thank the friends who have been there for me in this stressful time. If my journals earlier did not give it away, I have not been handling stress as well as I would like. Hopefully time does heal wounds, and hopefully the next three years will see to that. Concerning the next few days I will be going dark Friday and hopefully back on Saturday or Sunday. My new place will be a real bachelor pad, just me in downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan. It will certainly be fun to test the waters in the dating pool now that I am living someplace I would like to bring someone home to xD (My current apartment sucks fyi). Once I have unpacked I will have a good amount of free time before my trip to New Zealand, lets hope I can get some fun artwork into my gallery before then. Anyways, thanks for reading friends!~

So time for some better updates on what is going on with me and life. Over the last few months I have been struggling with life decisions and where I want my artwork to go from here on out. Not only that I have been busy with those concerns I have to deal with quite a few immediate issues! I move out of my apartment in two days. After I move I need to find a new place within a couple weeks to move close enough for school in January. Normally I would have more time for finding a place to live if my family was not planning a trip to New Zealand in mid December. It turns out that apartments near campus are at a premium so nothing is available till November 16th. Needless to say I have let the stress get to me. Here is what has been eating me the last few months:

My artwork has been an interesting roller coaster lately. The more I work towards developing my skills the more my work stresses me out. I go out of my way to provide as many types of artwork and styles I can. This turned out not to be the best way to go, I got into art for fun, and to spread that enjoyment with as many people as I could. As much as I enjoy working with people to create beautiful and sexy works of art I could not help but feel the sting of displeasure. Without realizing it I strayed away from the original intent for creating my account, to draw for myself and let people experience the worlds I have dreamed up, even find themselves within it. Once I have settled into my new place I expect to start funneling a lot of artwork into FA so people can finally see what I have spent so many years dreaming up. So I have been doing a lot of sketching lately and I find it incredibly fun. It is so loose and carefree. When I work on commissions I am always keeping in mind what the commissioner wants and doing my best to provide an enjoyable experience. I love working on commissions but it is nice to change things up and do something a little more relaxed. I want to do something that is not just about me though, I want to include all the wonderful people who have supported my artwork and helped me realize how great a community this fandom can be. Starting next week I am going to start holding journal based events where I provide three sexy or adventurous themes and my watchers can put forward a character of theirs to participate.
