Gods I forget how much having the flu sucks (I haven't had the flu since I was in seventh grade--which was about twelve/thirteen years ago). Nor is it fun passing out for a moment and not remembering what the hell went on during that time. Scared the hell out of me. Yeesh.
But gladly I'm feeling better now. Now just to continue to rest tomorrow (today technically now that it's past midnight my time) on my day off (had to call in to work Monday) and hope to feel better by Wednesday morning when I go back to work. Ugh. Seriously hate getting sick.Artist Meme

Because I was born during the spring rains back home.

I look up to my parents and my other Kala (priestesses) and Kali (priests), especially our Tishkala (High Priestess) and Tishkali (High Priest). And of course our mother goddess and father god.

Back home, since my mai'sina'o are opposite sex to me, I suppose that would be straight. But more of the pansexual type of not mattering about which gender a person is. After all, at home, we celebrate love of all forms, whether it's male/female, male/male, female/female, etc.
Here, I'm an Aromantic Asexual because my mai'sina'o are with me in ways that are complicated to explain. Otherwise I'd be a Panromantic if anything because, again, I don't care about which gender someone is. Love is love.

Back home I'm just a young adult, but yes, I did go to 'school' in a sense. We are taught by the Kala and Kali.

Posted 11 years agoSo back in the day when the first Twilight movie was coming out and they had a lot of Twilight shirts being made, I bought a TON! It's been quite a while now and I had packed them away for a while (and finally found them again) and have long decided it's time to get rid of them. Most of them (just about all really except for a few) I actually never wore. I obviously cut all the tags off but never wore them. They are all large to extra large in size with one medium shirt (that I only wore once because it was way too small for me but it was a gift from an old friend who forgot that I couldn't wear anything smaller than large). Many I got from Hot Topic and some from Walmart. Most were all going for prices between $22-$26 but I'm only asking for $15 each since they're pretty much brand new. Um...none.Three Years.....Rebirth Day.....
Posted 11 years agoWow. It's been three years now. Man....time sure has passed......
What I mean is that three years ago on this day, I had an event happen that caused me to basically pass out in my apartment and I pretty much died. The whole floaty feeling and feeling free from my body and everything and even seeing the whole white light thing. But Nyx, my goddess that watches over me, told me it was not yet my time when I started going for the light and brought me back. She told me that I had much more to accomplish in this life. At the time, I didn't know what it was I was going to accomplish, but over time, I realize that it's just being here and learning and helping those that need my help in whatever way they need. And I've learned who I am in the meantime and I'm very glad so I can return home when I finish this life out. So today means a lot to me because it is literally my 'rebirth day' where I started over again and have started on a journey of self discovery (not that I hadn't slowly been doing so beforehand).

Yay. But alas, using a DVD/CD cleaner on the PS2 to see if that was the reason
it wasn't reading the discs didn't work so obviously the laser is shot. *sad face*
But hey I have a PS1 now (with a couple of controllers for it too)! Lol.
Just need to procure a PS2 console so I can play my DDR still
(since obviously PS2 games don't work in PS1).

Posted 11 years agoSo I've been thinking lately that I'd like to make a few things here and there in the
arts and crafts realm of things for a little extra change. I just don't know what I want to do.
And I also don't want to spend too much on something that no one would be willing to buy either.
I know how to make a little bit of jewelry pieces and all. And I have been thinking of some other
works with making wooden boxes to hold things in and all with painted things on it and stuff for
the person. Just would need a little of ideas that they'd might like on it. And potentially try my hand
at some fabric cross-stitching on bags and other items.
Obviously, depending on the item I'd be making would depend on prices charged for it but it shouldn't
be a whole lot either way. So if anyone would like that idea of having something made, I could try to
commission something.
But again I'm still in the process of thinking of what to do first and foremost. And I'd like to try my hand
at making a couple of things first and take pictures to show how my work is so if someone does like the
work and wants something done, I'll gladly make something.

•Where did the name of your fursona come from?
Both came to me in a dream. As my elven self, it was memories of my life before that came back.
As my tiger self, it was Kaelis himself that came to me and told me his name.
•What species is your fursona and why did you choose that species?
As my elven self, I was born that way in my other life. Though being sent here to live as a human for a bunch of lives is a long story.
As the tiger, it was Kaelis that found me. He is my kalo'sina, my soul mate (not in a lover way).
It was meant to be.
•What color is your fursona and why?
A white tiger with bright, blue eyes. Just how Kaelis looks when as a tiger and all.
•What is your fursona's personality and how does this compare to your RL personality?
Well he's always been modest both back home and here. Our personalities are very much a lot alike.

Well I do have a giant white tiger stuffie that my ex-best friend gave me a long time ago when I was like
twelve and named it after my mother back home. Didn't know about being of elven origins or Kaelis at that
time either. So it's pretty significant (since my mother also happens to be a white tiger as well).
•What is one thing your fursona would say to you if you could meet?
Well at home we can meet in person all the time since he is his own person. Here, because he's bonded
to my soul and all and we do not have the magic we have at home, he can't physically unbind himself.

That I'm glad he chose me. Of course he knows already.
•How has your fursona changed over the years?
Well we've grown up together so I've seen him, like me, grown and go from being a kid to being an adult.

Well as my elven life, I've had him with me since I was around six, which is about the age that one gets their kalo'sina. As my elven life now, I'd be fifty six. And he was six when he became my kalo'sina so we're the same age.
Having recalled him in this life though, it's been three years since I've reconnected with him and known his name. But I have always known he was there with me from when I was very little as I could always feel the tiger spirit in me.
•Would you like to be more like your fursona?
As my elven self, I'll return to it again after this life is over.
As my tiger self, I just have to use his power to turn into the tiger form.

Depressed

Yesterday was talking with someone for a few days and hoped to be friends. But obviously that wasn't the case and wanted more to be mates when I specifically told them I'm an Aromantic Asexual. And wanted to move together. Again, way far away and I've already promised my two other besties I'd move in with them. So they decided not even being friends would be okay. Whatever. See how shallow they are. Done with them.
Besides, proposing marriage and such and being life mates in a manner of a few days....I don't think so. It takes time to build a relationship. And again, given I'm an Aromantic Asexual, that means I don't want a relationship.
(For those that don't understand Aromantic means I have no romantic/emotional desires for any gender and as Asexual, I have no sexual/physical desires for anyone. There are Romantic Asexuals who have romantic/emotional desires to be in a relationship with the gender(s) of their choice but no sexual desires still.)
Secondly, talking with one of my besties about moving with them, she still wants us to get a two bathroom place. But all places around here that are two bedroom at least (given if my other bestie can't do the move since it is to be all three of us together), only have one bathroom or a full bath and half bath. If one wants a two bathroom place, townhomes are more potential but they start at like $900-$1000/month and that's with rent alone (otherwise it's a house to buy). That's not including other utility bills like heat, gas, electric, etc that might have to be paid separate. And if she moves here, she'll obviously have to find a job (since she's moving from out of state). But to find a job that pays enough with enough hours is hard to come by here. Hell I've been looking and it's hard. Unless of course one gets a factory job, truck driving, something in the medical field (schooling required usually), or something on the feet all the time with fast paced work. Something that I can't do despite I wish I could. I just can't do it because of my health problems.
I love her to death and all, but I'm starting to see that being able to move like that isn't going to work out so well. I'd like to make it work but I just can't see it anymore. And given she wants to move as early as this coming February 2015, that doesn't give me a lot of time to save up money, pay off my debts I still have, find health insurance to cover my doctor's visits for my health problems that constantly needs monitoring (I'm lucky to be on my dad's until my birthday this year in October when I turn 26 and get kicked off his and can't afford to get any of my own), and anything else miscellaneous. And given that once I move out of my parent's house (again--since I was on my own for about four years prior before I lost my previous job and my health problems arose and had to move home again), he won't let me back home. Even if I fall into hard times to the point that it's either move home or be on the streets. Sadly he'd rather see me on the streets (and potentially die from it) than help me. Hopefully my mother will come to my aid once again like before and bitch his ass out and tell him to let me move home again if that's the case (she did this last time when I first had to move home because he wasn't going to let me home and she tore him a new ass bitching him out until he let me back).
I'm just sad that if I let her know that I don't think I can do this in half a year's time, she'll get upset and I might lose her as a friend. We've been through a lot and she's one of my last friends I have from high school (even though I met her through a friend (now ex-friend sadly)). I don't want to lose her because honestly, it will break my heart. It'd break my heart to lose any of my friends (and I've been there losing a lot from high school honestly). *sighs* I'll find some way to let her know that I probably won't be able to do it so soon. I'm at least a good two years away from being able to afford a place, with or without anyone else to room with.
(For anyone that doesn't know, I have lupus, which is an autoimmune disease that attacks the immune system. It's genetic and I inherited it from my father's side of the family as both of my aunts have it so it was kind of inevitable. It's not so much the pain that bothers me lately (it did in the beginning with whole body pain so severe it hurt to move much). It's more of the exhaustion I get after doing even the job I have with dish washing, sweeping/mopping, and trash takeout at my work. Some days it's to the point I can barely get out of bed because I'm so exhausted. Add on my right heel has been giving me problems that make it painful to walk on my foot. I have to walk on my toes, which puts pressure on my ankle and causes that to start hurting. It's at the point that it's bothering me so bad that if I get up and apply just a tiny bit of pressure, I about want to scream and cry in pain. And now both my hands are starting to bother me with the index and middle fingers and adjoining tendons going up my wrists and arms along with my wrists starting to be hard to pick up anything over ten pounds (which includes my cat sadly). Even if I move my hands a certain way to grip something light like a cardboard box hurts. Add in heat asthma with that mix and chronic migraines and I'm just a mess. Believe me, it sucks.)
