Pirates of the Carribean tomorrow night.


Karaoke contest Friday night (WISH ME LUUUUUUUUUCK~!) Still have decided if I'm going to do "Motherland" from FullMetal Alchemist or "Gravity" from Wolf's Rain. (Motherland is in Japanese, and therefore looks better as an entry for an anime con karaoke contest, but I'm more solid on the lyrics of Gravity, which is in English - even in the original Japanese version of the series). I thought about doing "Passion" from Kingdom Hearts, but considering the overwhelming number of "Simple and Clean" and "Hikari" entries there were last year, I think I'll pass.

Tried something new today that I've been told I've done before, but don't remember doing... way to put it in neutral, go me. @_@


Pondered over creepy things that occur in my head, like dreams that turn out to be premonitions, the crazy levels of deja vu I have on a frighteningly frequent basis, the mini-visions I have from time to time, and my occasional inability to tell the difference between what I have dreamed, what has occured, and what is yet to occur. I have memories I'm not entirely sure are real, because no one else seems to remember what I remember... Facts about myself that may be false... I dunno, I try not to dwell on things like this too much, mostly coz it rather weirds me out... My mind likes fucking with me way too much.


No definitive answers from the endocrinologist, I have to have some bloodwork done before we find anything out, and the analysis of said blood tests will take a few weeks to get back. I go back to the endocrinologist in July (appointment carefully scheduled to not interfere with the Rocky Mount tourney, which I still need to ask off from work for)... I might have Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, or I might have some other condition (which is oddly enough CURABLE, versus PCOS being merely treatable). Once we find out what is going on with my body and get me into a routine of treatments or whatever, I'll hopefully start losing some weight (finally. All these years of trying desperately, only to constantly gain more weight, may finally be coming to a successful end), and my period may finally start agian, and, for the first time in my life, regulate itself, instead of coming and gong as it pleases. It's been just about a year exactly since I even HAD a period last. Yeah, I know you guys TOTALLY wanted to know about all that. =3

Not been sleeping well (like, worse than I have been the last few months) lately, and it's starting to fuck with me. *sighs*


Work is good, I've got like... 36 hours this week (what the hell, why can't I have hours like this EVERY week?).


Surviving on like... $40 till I pick up about $30 in tips next Tuesday, and then surviving on the resulting $70 until I get paid on the 25th, most of which I will likely blow on Animazement, aside from the money to pay off my bills. I'm prolly gonna handle that on Friday morning, before I have the opportunity to spend all of my money, lol


Going to the endocrinologist next Tuesday to find out if I have Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, since I haven't had a period in about a year now. *worries* It may also be the answer to why I'm constantly gaining weight, despite all attempts to get more excercise and eat healthier. It just isn't working. If there's nothing that can be done in terms of handling the PCOS and that helping my weight, I'm going for the gastric bypass surgery. Enough is enough.

I am looking to put about $400 (at most) into this computer. I already have a brand-new printer/scanner/copier combo, and would really like to settle myself into a desktop for a while before I go bothering with a laptop again. Buying this computer will allow me to continue with commissions and such, which would, in turn, help me pay for my car repairs (which my aunt is already graciously offering to help me out with).

I looked up at him from where I sat on the floor, my head at the level of his hip, and laid my head on his lap. The air in the lobby was just a hint more chilly than I would have liked, but he was warm, and it comforted me. My head swam with thoughts of the day, the events that had lined up, one right after the other, and tumbled over each other in a clumsy cascade. Washes of panic and calm swept through me, one after the other, over and over again. I pressed my forehead to his leg to block the light from my eyes and nuzzle at his jeans a bit; I felt his hand in my hair, and purred softly, letting him know the soothing gesture was greatly appreciated. The smell of him, his clothes, his hair, worked its way into my brain - he smoked, and the sweet aroma of his cigarettes and their smoke somehow calmed me, despite the fact that the scent usually sickened me or gave me headaches. Somehow, his presence made it a scent I enjoyed, but only from him.

My mind, wrapped as it was in his presence like the finest silk, drifted to the days that would lie ahead, and those that were behind me. I swallowed back a quiet sob and fought back tears valiantly, swallowing hard and pushing a smile into my lips as he gazed down at me, still running his fingers through my hair. I'd never looked at him like this before, never seen him so affectionate, and it made me rethink him, and the image I had formed of him in my brain. Suddenly, I found myself lucky to have his number saved into my phone, and thought to reserve that number for serious times when an ear to speak to would be needed. I knew in that moment he could be trusted, despite the unkind words I had received about him in the previous hours.

I just got the news from Dad that they'll be moving my mother to the hospice unit in the hospital.


She'll be gone within a month, at most.

I can't even begin to grasp this. I really can't. It's just beyond my reach right now. My world just stopped spinning.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, it seems that one of my roommates
wants out of the lease, which kind of puts the rest of us in a bad spot.

condition. She's been in the hospital for over a month now, and I
