I recently left my big kid job, so while I look for something else I'm taking commissions again.
I'll be open for the following:

⋆ Taking commissions for custom tea blends on Adagio, like this one of Bitty for Tantrum and this one of Cairo for mlktea with full blend consultation and artwork for $50.

General | Posted 8 years agoMy beautiful, sweet, precious guinea pig child Poe has severe pneumonia from an infection he got at the pet store and his vet bills are adding up fast. I'd be much obliged if anyone would be up for commissioning me! I have two examples of the style I'd be doing, like this one of Frankie for Spoonyfox and this one of Nan for Evanrude.
Shoot me a PM (You can also message me on telegram @salemkittie, this is the easiest way to get ahold of me) if you're interested with a ref sheet that will help me do a good head shot for your icon and we'll see about making this work. I'd also consider other small commissions so long as they aren't pornographic (pinups of female-presenting characters OK). Terms of Service located here; required to look over before commissioning me.

General | Posted 10 years agoI'm really casual on this site, but I'm willing to do commissions for my teas on a small scale. I'm currently in school so I can't exactly guarantee a super-fast turnover- I'd rather be transparent about that. I will do my best to communicate regularly with you all the same.
I decided that a personalized consultation for blending and the custom art label would run $50.
The tea blends are made by choosing three flavors and three accents (single ingredient inclusions). I'm very familiar with adagio's products as far as what tastes good and whats not so good (I've worked in the tea industry for years!). I'll be able to help you produce a final blend that accurately depicts your character as well as tastes great, and even has health benefits specific to your needs. To be clear though, I don't actually produce the tea, Adagio does it to the specifications given. I can provide $5 coupons to get your tea, though. It would be real and available to anyone!
Things we'll discuss:
1. Is there a health benefit you're looking for?
2. Is caffeine a concern?
3. Is there a particular flavor palette you'd like?
Feel free to look over the list of flavors adagio offers here. I made up a chart with a little info on each type to get an idea.
I always send updates on sketch options, lines, and anything that I think may need approval so the final outcome is perfect. I don't take many slots at a time in order to be sure that output is up to my personal standards and no one has to wait too long.

Nickname: Salem, Ouija (these are a stretch, really, everyone calls me Kittie)
Location: DFW, Texas
Age: 25, but not for long
Height: 5'4" on a good day
Zodiac sign: Virgo-virgo-libra, but I act all Libra.
Pets: I have two wonderful geriatric boy dogs; a yorkie named Bam and a dachshund named Hurley. There's an asshole guinea pig named Caesar, and two very dumb axolotls named Peony and Pekoe.
Favorite thing about yourself: I think I have a decently variated skill set and I can do a lot of very cool things, although I don't consider myself a master of anything that I do.
Worst habit: I'm very compulsive, which can make me delightfully fun but also very lazy and gluttonous.
Fun fact: I got into the Dallas Museum of Art at age 17!!! But I bet it won't happen again, I mean, luck doesn't work like that u__u

Do you work or are you a student: As of this moment, I have two jobs at Teavana and Ulta and I'll be starting (one of?) my final semesters at University of Texas at Arlington soon as a drawing major.
What do you do well: I am damn good with the intricacies of tea and can find a tea for anyone. I can draw a rockin' set of tits. I can make things smell nice.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years: Either moving up the ladder with tea and art or even doing tattoo work.
Habits (Do you…?)
Drink: No. Don't enjoy the taste or the hangovers.
Smoke: No.
Do Drugs: No.
Exercise: REALLY should, but don't.
Have a go-to comfort food: Garlic/Green onion rice noodle soup.
Have a nervous habit: I pick my nails. I've broken this habit five times now, but it keeps recurring. :c

Physical quality (in yourself): I love having white hair. It feels like I'm supposed to look this way. I've had it for years and I can't imagine changing it.
In Others: I love looking at the curvatures of people's bodies in an artistic kind of way. Ribcages and waists are a favorite, though, along with forearms and wrists.
