1) something that's happened to you that feels unfair. Or something that's happened to someone else that feels unfair.
2) something that's happened to you (or someone else you know) that feels fair.
Why? Because I think it'd be interesting to read. And it's a thought experiment on what people deem fair/unfair treatment from the world. Most people are quick to talk about what's unfair, but what about fair? What feels deserved, whole-heartedly? And it doesn't have to be a punishment, a discipline... what about something honestly good and earned?
Anyway. Pardon my curiosity, but I do also like getting to know people. c:

Essentially, being verified might help your channel stand out more and be more easily accessible, or at least prove to viewers that your channel isn't a fraud or knock-off. If nothing else, it's a cool way to prove your prowess!
Y'all don't need to do anything. They just require you to post in your biggest social media (or gallery, I hope) and send proof of your connection to it.
On another note, I'll be doing some streaming later today, so join me then!

13 THINGS ABOUT ME
1. I've been drawing furry art since I was seven without know it! My first characters were a gay couple named Todd (original fox boi) and Coalla (a doggo). But I didn't start drawing porn until 2010.
2. I've always wanted to be a teacher at some point in my life. When I teach, I feel more at home than in any other job.
3. I've worked in a lord-of-the-rings themed bar and yes, we occasionally wore elf ears on saturdays.
4. I love horses and took several college-level classes in equine studies. Sadly, I don't have any way to afford one right now.
5. I tend to pick up hobbies and try to learn languages periodically, which sadly has to compete time-wise with drawing and school, so I'm not very good at anything I try. So far, I've tried belly dancing, ukulele, rock climbing, swing dance, salsa, aquascaping, sculpting, Chinese, German, Spanish, Danish, Fursuit making, etc... I have approximate knowledge about a lot of things.
6. I collect animal bones and have a fairly big collection. All my bones are found in the woods, hand-cleaned and kept for their beauty and to show the animal respect.
7. I legally changed my name at 17 with the help of my parents. Normally there's at least one person who asks 'so what is your real name' and I ignore those people as best I can.
8. I own a lot of books. I mean a lot. And I can't stop. Send help.
9. My parents are just as weird as me and encourage all my creative endeavors. They know I'm a smut artist and don't care, which is a big relief.
10. I'm almost 25, have been driving since I was 17 and SO FAR have been in no wrecks and received no tickets. -knocks on wood-
11. I suffer from major depressive disorder and panic disorder. I'm on medication I may need to be on for my life, and finally coming to terms with this. I've had these disorders since I was seven and don't really know life without it.
12. I'm lactose intolerant and hate coconut. (unrelated)
13.I'm the most capricorn person I know and hate asking for help or relying on anyone.

Cat Behavior Problems...
Posted 8 years agoSo I have three cats. Only one was planned, but the other two happened due to my own stupid 'save every cat' instinct. I also currently live in a rented apartment with my boyfriend. One cat, Finn, is a little over a year old and he's a problem baby. His behavior has become worse lately and I'm at my wit's end. Finn is a social boy who wants to play all the time. He's very needy, verbal and worst: destructive. He has torn up the carpeting under every closed door he can find and it's getting beyond the point of reasonable. My boyfriend isn't getting enough sleep at night because he also can reach up and tug on the door handle of the bedroom and the sound is very loud when it springs back.
We've tried clipping his claws, capping his claws (I feel awful at how much time he spends tugging at them and it stresses him out further) and putting no-scratch sprays on the doors. The only solution is leaving the door open BUT then my older cat, Stella, pees on the bed. She's been having territorial peeing issues since Finn happened, and I don't know what to do there either. This wasn't an issue before...
So now I feel like I'm at an ultimatum... I've been told to think about rehoming Finn, but I a. don't trust rehoming him to anyone I don't know and b. feel guilty about the amount of destruction that he does going to someone else's home. I don't agree with declawing, either.
Any suggestions? I'm seriously at my wit's end with this...

Question for FTMs!
Posted 8 years agoHey so, as some of you might know, I'm in a weird place where I dont know what to do about my gender identity. I almost feel too busy to think about something so 'self indulgent' as presenting myself the way I feel, but then every time I take a moment to think about it... God, I wish I could transition easily and smoothly. Seeing as that's not an option right now, I've decided to get back into binding and trying to present better... But I blink out for a few years and the market has become absolutely flooded with binders and packers and new products! (this is the opposite of a bad thing, but... it's making it hard to know what to get)
SO
if you're FTM or know someone who is, i'm just curious what people's favorite binders and packers are. Heaven knows spending up to 50 bucks on a nice binder sucks when you get it and it doesn't feel good at all.

What a rough week!
Posted 8 years agoPhew, school kicked my ass this week. I've not been feeling super awesome in my inking class, but managed to get to a point in our assignment where I feel good about my progress. I had two 12 hour days back to back due to make-up classes, and that just about wiped me out. Add on a dose of seasonal blues, commission worries and money troubles, and well... god, I'm just glad it's the weekend. Now to catch up on some work and also grab a little R&R. Three weeks left in the quarter, and I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.
By the way, would y'all be interested in seeing school work, or no? I'm in a concept class about designing characters, environment, props and other things to make a cohesive story. Mine is about monsters taking over a castle~
I also have my new 24 page comic that I need to start posting, so you can look forward to that.
I can't wait for winter break. Because of my internship this summer I've had basically no break since LAST winter. I've got a lot of work to do, a lot of comics to work on, and I just can't wait!
PS: I've been playing Divinity II when I can get the chance and omg, this game is awesome XD Highly recommend if you enjoy DnD!

Taking Commission Submissions! [CLOSED]
Posted 8 years agoHey everyone! So last time I took commissions, I opened up a submission system, and today I'm going to do the same with a few tweaks for fine-tuning. My goal is to have a system that's fairer for those who want commissions of different types, but might not be able to respond the fastest to this journal.
So: submissions are open until 11:00 pm EST, which is approximately five and a half hours from this journal's posting. To enter, fill out the following form in a comment below. I'll assign everyone whose commission I feel capable of a number for a random lottery. After 11, when submissions are closed, I'll run a random number generator and get the three winners. You'll be contacted in a comment reply if you've won!

If you are interested in a commission, comment below with a filled out form. Submissions will be open for 30 minutes 1 HOUR so you have time to fill out your form! Afterwards, I'll use a RNG to select from the posted submissions. This is the fairest way to insure that there's more time to submit your ideas.

Been having a slightly rough time...
Posted 8 years agoHey y'all, I'm just checking in/venting a little bit to get things out of my mind. I've just been having a rough time lately, and I don't think I've been completely honest with myself about it. All summer I've been working at this internship that has taken up 40+ hours a week of my life and has left me more stressed than I'd care to say. My main coworker is downright emotionally abusive at times, and while the rest of my coworkers are alright, the level of stress I'm under has been somewhat debilitating. I haven't been drawing outside of commissions, really, and I'm plagued by the worry that I'm degrading, or losing love for drawing or... anything else that comes from that.
My homelife has been a little shaky too, and I think my stubbornness has made me distance myself emotionally from a lot of things bothering me. Throw a big old batch of bad political atmosphere, empathy for disasters, money issues and impending school and... god, no wonder I'm stressed out.
I've also been thinking a lot lately about whether or not I'm trans. Once I thought I knew, and then I thought I was comfortable with not knowing. Now... I just wish it were obvious to me. I wish I knew what would make me happy and confident and body-positive. Instead, I keep losing myself in things like games, shows, and other distractions.
My meds are working pretty well, all things considered. Without them, I think I'd be doing a LOT worse than I am now... but I think my meds plus my natural tendency to swallow emotions and keep things bottled is making me cold-hearted. I almost feel like encouraging stress and negative thoughts because what more could it do? At least I could get these negative things out of the way.
Life has been good, too. I really shouldn't complain. I just wish I could cry it out and know the answers for some stressful questions and fast forward to the end of the month so I can quit this job properly and focus on school. I miss having friends, too. A lot of mine went away for the summer so my only connections have really been my stressful pantomimes with coworkers and my homelife with my partner, which has had a lot of recent fights.
I dont know. Sometimes I feel like everything I do is a lie, but if I were to be honest my life would be sleeping all the time and doing nothing, alone. Adulting is difficult.
