So now that the goals met, time to get crackin on some new Sally art! Hello again. Long overdue update!

So first of all, no, Iām not deadā¦beaten down a bit, yes, been a rough couple years, but still kickin. Honestly nothing that insane happened, nothing we all donāt deal with in adult life, no major tragedies really (in case you were worried)ā¦I just finally broke down after so many years of fighting to keep my head above water, and thatās really all that happened. Can only fight to keep the lights on so many times before it breaks you, turns out my limit is about 10 years (and 1 breakup). I checked out, completely stopped drawing, and got myself a new day job, was tired of the struggle and the stress, made a life choice that I desperately needed at the time that largely saved meā¦but it didnāt come without regrets.
Second, I just wanna say Iām sincerely sorry to a lot of you, namely those I still owe commissions too. I donāt want to make excuses, I failed you guys, I essentially gave up without much word or notice to all of you, left you hanging for a very long time. It was shitty of me to doā¦scummy even, and if Iāve lost any or all of your respect in that time, then I do deserve that. Either way I gotta make up for that now in any way that I can. I never stopped thinkin about you guys. So thatās largely why Iām writing this update, so those of you still waiting are aware of what I plan to do to make up for the work still owed too you guys.
If youāve got a sketch or some bit of finished work from me so far, then I do plan to finish, though I havenāt drawn anything in over a year, so itāll be a bit more time unfortunately as I ease back into things and finish what I can when Iām able. I do want to get back into drawing thoughā¦even though I wasnāt sure if I ever would draw this kinda stuff again, honestly. I thought for sure I was done, but then I read a little Sonic comic very recently, and it reminded me of how much I missed these characters, and missed drawing them. Maybe you stumbled on this too https://x.com/all_4sally/status/187.....YqX-9BrkHMbNgw. Itās a beautiful little comicā¦brought a lot of old memories and feelings back to the surface that Iād largely forgotten aboutā¦which is pretty funny, given the theme of the comic. Reminded me why I draw them in the first place; it was a way of keeping something in my life that made up a huge part of my childhood, kept me tethered to characters that brought me a lot of joy, and essentially raised me in a lot of ways. Makes them worth remembering. But I digress š , check it out sometime if youāre an old Archie/Satam fan like me, it goes pretty hard! š„²
Point is, I do plan to finish the works that Iāve started, so Iāll be working towards that. As well as maybe a few new things just for funā¦if and when I can. Been 4 years since my last Sally pinupā¦isnāt that crazy!? š Gonna ease into it thoughā¦itās been a long time since I picked up that pen, so I hope thatās okay.
For the rest, Iāve given out a few refunds already, Iām afraid to say I have to cut down on the list, or it will just defeat me again. I caved largely because of the age old artist trap of biting off WAY more than I could handle, and thinkin I could keep up. At the time it did seem possible, but I was only kidding myself as it turned out. Your patronage did help me immensely back thenā¦so itās very hard for me to give you that news, but I do think it would be for the best.
I have a few YCH Iāll probably still do as well (Iāll message you guys on that soon), but everything else I think it might be best that I work towards paying you all back with a refund instead. So if you havenāt received a sketch yet, then Iāll likely be giving you a refund. I know itās not the best news for some, but I hope itās enough to make up for things.
On that note, it will take some time still before I can pay everyone back. My current job is seasonal, Iām only part time for the moment, and wonāt start full time again until May. So Iām afraid I gotta ask for a little more patience again for everyone I plan to refund, but itāll be my main goal over this Summer to get everyone paid what theyāre owed.
So thatās largely my news for now. I do want to get back into drawing again āeven despite all this crazy stupid Ai nonsense happening lately since Iāve been gone š« ā but first I gotta make it up to a few of you, so thatāll be my goal for the foreseeable future. Iād like to get back into just drawing for fun again I thinkā¦I donāt think I was ever really cut out for doing this as a job, as difficult as that has been to admit, but I do love it still and wanna keep at it, so I intend too. Iām doing much better mentally, physically, financially latelyā¦never completely out of them woods it seems, but I think itāll get better as I finally clear my commissions, and get that weight off my shoulders, so thatās the goal!
Anyway, some of you Iāll contact a bit more directly soon, so keep an eye out. Catch yāall again soon!

I should also mention (because it was a question brought up), for those commissions and YCH I will be finishing, I donāt expect the last half payment from any of them, least I can do for it taking so long. This isnāt my main source of income anymore, so itās a lot easier now for me to waive payments, so no worries! I just wanna work on art now for the enjoyment of it mostly.
As for the Patreon, idk yet, perhaps Iāll start it up again in the future as merely a tip jarā¦as it was supposed to be originally. Weāll see what happens.

Was a busy one this year! New YCH, lotta new Patreon content, launched an online store, and been working pretty steady catching up all my commissions. And somehow I managed to also make 4 costumes and go out to a few eventsā¦pretty wild month! š My apologies to everyone still waiting on my commission list I wasnāt able to get too. I wasnāt quite able to get everything done that I wanted for the month sadly, but still took a pretty good chunk outta the list, so Iām making good headway! November Iāll be focused entirely on commissions, so just gonna stick that grind! So still lots of new art to come!

And I just wanna say thanx to everyone for the interest and all the support. The response was fast and everyoneās so nice and generous. >.< I donāt say it often enough, but this community never ceases to amaze me, you guys are truly awesome! Itās really a big help for me, and takes a stress off so I can focus on art again, so thank you all, so much! I tend to be a bit hard on myself, like to keep to myself and wrestle with things alone, and never sure if I deserve such an amazing community thatās always ready to helpā¦especially since I havenāt been the best at staying consistent over the years, and Iāve let a lot of people down Iām sure because of it, but Iāll keep trying until I am, because I want to do better! Life just gets hard sometimes, It was a rough year, but it was also a good wakeup callā¦so as difficult as it was, itās not all bad.
Anyway, thanx again everyone! Itās really appreciated! Now I can really focus on art again. ^_^ I got a couple more YCH to roll out this week, and a few coms being finished, gonna be streaming the progress on things for most of the month, so look out for that!

Itās been a tough few months for me and I lost a lot of time on commissions, Patreon, and other projects due to my mental health slipping a bitā¦maybe it started a long time ago, I just wasnāt admitting itā¦but itās been a struggle, and it came to a head over the summer where I just couldnāt function anymore. I was in a dark place, and I donāt ever want to feel like that again, so Iāve been working and focusing on my mental health a lot more lately. I am doing better, at least enough to be working againā¦but the worst part is the after effect of losing so much time, which is catching up to me financially.
So Iām opening a couple commissions today, as well as a few YCH later today, to help keep me afloat and get back on track. But I donāt do this lightly, because I have a lot on my plate currently, lots of commissions already that I have to finish first, as well as Patreon work, and this does add to that work load. So if youāre interested just contact me here anytime, Iām thinkin Iāll open up two more slots for now, same price and details as last month. Details below! :)

- Single character pinups only (for now).
- Can be fan character or original character, itās all good.
- Preferably female, but Iāll draw male too, Iām just more into female, so Iām far better at it, so keep that in mind.
- Sexy, cute, or cool, Itās all good.
- No extreme fetish (gore, vore, scat, that kinda stuff). Goin for simple sexy pinups, so keep ideas classy yo! (If youāre unsure though, feel free to ask.)
- Tentacles and off page/floating dicks are fine, but these are single character, so focus will be on that character, so tents and dicks will be kept minimum.

Many do like YCH and thatās awesome, but I know a few of you now have mentioned youād prefer good olā commissions, so what the hey! :D Been a long time (6 or 7 years now, yikes) since I had commissions open, so itās about time I give it a go for a bit, see how it goes. :)
Gonna keep it simple for the first few, ease myself back into it. So hereās the deets for this batch of commissions.

Posted 4 years agoI havenāt done a YCH in years, probably 4 or 5 years, but Iāve been pondering to do an Xmas themed YCH for a bit now. Just wondering if thereās any interest at all for that? Do people still do those? 0.o
Iām back to drawing full time but itās been a bit of a struggle to get the Patreon back to where it was, itās gonna take some time, so I figured running a YCH would really help, especially to help offset the costs of the Xmas season. But I really havenāt been paying attention to the YCH activity lately, so Iām gauging interest. Any interest out there to see a 2 maybe 3 character YCH from me for this Dec?
Iād probably set a solid deadline to finish it before Christmas, so could make for a good gift for someone. But Iām curious to know how YCH auctions do these days, so let me know. :)

We were hoping to do a lot more before putting out a playable Alpha, because it is still very raw and unfinished, but we and others put a lot into the character sprites, character art, music, maps, and battle mechanics, and itās been sitting awhile now just collecting dust, so we figured why not! Seems like a waste to just let it sit without being played!

About the new Lola Bunny...
Posted 4 years ago...here's an interesting question thatās been fuddling around my brain today. Remember when the internet lost its shit over the Sonic design and the studio then listened and made some changes adhering to the fans input? Well, first of all, is there cause for a similar outcry from fans with the current Lola movie design? And would it be sexist to push for it? I mean, Iām clearly bias on this, as Iām definitely one of those old dudes who grew up with a crush for the character, and sheās 1 half of the reason I started drawing furry smut to begin with (the other half should be pretty easy to deduce), so my vision here is more than likely clouded on this subject, by my desire to see her sexy as hell, in full animation again. So my motivation is pretty clear...Iām bias as fuck. xD
But...Iām reading a lot of comments from peeps on various servers, from both male and female perspectives, that are mentioning how itās kind of insulting to woman in general and the powerful woman character type, when you remove so much femininity, in favour of a more masculine look...as if masculinity is the only measure for power and confidence. Seems a bit sexist to me, to force woman out of strong features that are inherently feminine, a part of their very nature, features that are just as powerful but from a clearly feminine perspective, and for, why exactly? Just to remove the sexual context? So we focus on her abilities and character this time around, rather than...well, the more obvious reason why we liked her. I mean...I get that, but thereās a line right? Right? o.o;
Sheās far from the first female character to get this kind of treatment, seems to be a growing trend these days...and I never cared really before, cause it wasnāt done to characters that had an effect on my life directly...but whatās the olā deal here? Am I just an old pervert, thinking with his Johnson again, whoās out of touch? Or are female characters being forced into a new form of modesty, under the veil of equality? The former is rhetorical of course...Iām a fuckin scumbag, but I am a curious scumbag.
I know, itās a battle as old as time these days...and my motives are probably not the purest, but is there a point there? Or am I grossly under educated on this issue? Or what? x.x
Just think itād be interesting to discuss really. I understand why they made the change, I see the logic, but was it a good call? Is it just society being a prude again? Hidden forced modesty, or a good just fight against sexism? Perhaps Iām just yelling in the echo chamber here, but Iām curious all the same.
Not looking to spark a fight, Iām really quite neutral, could care less in the grand scheme of things, and I see both sides, just interested to learn more is all.
