i watch HE-MAN from the 80s that did an episode on drugs.

and BRAVESTARR in the episode 'the price' in which a kid takes a new drug, and in the end of the episode, actually freaking dies.

cartoons need to have the balls to SHOW the effects of this bath salt shit.

besides... why take 'smiles' and 'bath salt' when you can use actual weed and hemp?

i am rediscovering the show i grew up watching.

it has humor, adventure, slice of life and love-fluff.

also the males were more involved in the show.

which makes a pretty decent show.

to those waiting for the 3rd season of MLP FIM, i suggest looking into this during the long summer months.

its different, but its a pretty good show. good style of ponies, and good voice acting.

again. it had male characters so thats probity the main reason why i watched.

This is what My Little Pony Friendship is Magic is missing. Romance between the main females of the show with boys.

but i tell ya. starwars episode 1 was real big for me. how i think about the movie? not great, but entertaining. and i cant help but feel fond for the movie during my childhood.

infact, at school at the time i liked this girl for months. my friends told her about me every day till she got irritated and pretty much told me off in the worse way. insulting me and whatnot. after that day i was depressed.

of course it was friday and my mom took me to KMART for my usual toy buying (back then every friday i get a new toy. if my grades were good)

i still remember. rows and rows of starwars episode 1 toys. boy oh boy that cheer'd me right up!

i remember (and i was 10) i said to myself as i got a carded qui gon jin figure- "who needs girls when you have toys?"

i said it mostly to cheer myself up. i was a sensitive feeling kind of kid/guy.

the first toy i purchased was the droid with the speeder staff.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH MAAAAAAAN! those were the days. 10 years old, with brand new episode 1 toys. my mind wandered what awesome stories it would have been! i thought watto was a prision guard who served the queen of naboo or something!

but boy. nothing like it. you remember how u placed the saber blade into the lightsaber?

again i thought that was genious and things were greatly detailed.

till i played with them a lil thoughly and the blade broke off. :/ bummer for me.

oh and darth friggin maul! DARTH FRIGGIN MAUL!!!

in my mind he was this BAD ASS MOFO WHO'LL F-YOU UP AND EAT YOUR FLESH!

the toy, his figure was reaaaaaaaaaaaaaallllllllllllllllyyyyyyyyyyyy hhhhhhaaaaaaarrrrrrd to find! ya'll remember? your a kid, and the one starwars figure you want so badly was DARTH MAUL? forunately i found mind at a walmart. (my memeory is pretty good?)

know why i remember it so well? because 5 minutes after finding him, another kid was looking for the very same figure. he was with his parents, i turn the corner holding my prize just as i heard the kid saying he's looking for darth maul to his parents.
i walked off fast before he could see me. cus i could hear him whining that he's been looking for him.

tough titties mac, first come first serve. am i right?! HAH-HAAAAAH! seriously though. my maul (which i still have in good condition i may add) is the first figure, before he was released more commonly with 'accurate markings' but in my eyes the first one was better becus of the shape of his head was alot better and not 'round' like the 2ed version in larger cases.

darth maul so so DAMN hard to find that my cousin got his darth maul that came with the bike speeder.

hell my fave toy was sebulba's pod racer. i still have the lil figure but lost the vehecle

but now i seen the wave at my store the same pod racers the same maul with bike speeder and that same droid with staff, are in stores now.

looks like hasbro is re-releasing alot of the old figures and vehecles. and while toy collectors might see this as a half ass way of hasbro selling products...

i just felt retro-nostagic all over again for the movie....

and of course when i saw starwars episode 1 on opening day.....

all i can tell you is the thought as i went into the threater in the huge crowd of people.

Love it or hate it, this movie holds something speical to me.

and i'm sure any young kid would feel the same when they first saw this as 'their' starwars movie.
