Milton did much more damage to the city this time. Loads of down trees and street lamps. Wooden fences all destroyed. Mass power outages. Flooding still left from rain.

Our house fared infinitely better compared to Helene. We lucked out SO hard. We could've lost everything. 🙏

Apologies in advance for any delayed/slow communication on my part. Hurricane Milton's path is in direct line with my home. We are preparing to evacuate, taking as much as we can, with the assumption that there will be nothing to return to. For all of our sake's, let's hope this weakens as much as possible prior to landfall.

I've been pretty quiet on here, so I thought I'd give kind of a life update. This year has been...a lot.

I've been diagnosed with anxiety, depression, ADHD, & also am grappling with a health diagnosis of neurocardiogenic syncope, & how I am disabled. It's a lot to process, honestly.

I had never considered, nor wanted to consider, myself disabled, more out of an imposter syndrome thing & not wanting to exploit a community than anything else. But finally having a name to this life-altering condition I've had for half my life has given me a lot to think about.

It's frustrating when Google searches describe it as 'benign'. Yes I won't die from it, but I've had to change my entire life to function normally, & it impacts me every day. Put (very) simply: my blood pressure can randomly drop, causing me to faint/have 'seizures'. To me it's not 'benign'.

Having a name for what I have is great, but to learn there's no cure has been a struggle. I've gone to so many doctors to try and figure this out, having hope I could be free of this one day. Really sucks. I don't talk about it much online, but thought I'd at least say this.

I caved and finally made a Cara account xD I'm posting my wide range of art over there, not just furry/animal pieces, so feel free to follow if you want a little of everything!
