Update regarding my home life situation
Posted 4 years agoNow to cut to the chase, I was preparing to get onto the road with my packing some personal stuff, school stuff and moreso many other things. But tonight was where- ngl I had never expected this to go as smooth as it did. To spare you the unnecessary detail, in summary; they said that they made a rash decision, and they thought about their actions and they decided to let me stay. However, I did mention to them that I will not be staying with them forever. I did forgive them for such actions and they forgave me for my mistakes.
Now I do plan on making myself a more positive person in the long run. I'll be doing my part in taking care of things before my eventual departure sooner or later. I'll still be looking into taking a tour with my buddy tomorrow, just to get a feel of it. In addition, they will try their best to understand me more and both parties will try to be open and honest. So with that said:
Tldr: I've been given a second chance to improve and hopefully just be okay in the long run.
When I wrote that last update I was in full panic mode. I'm sure most people might've went through something similar, I'm not too sure. I can't speak for all people. So yes, indeed. With that said I do appreciate those who reached out to me on Discord and all my other platforms giving me support. And as far as commissions/art trades go, I'll be slow on them, but I'll hopefully be able to manage.
So anyways thanks for reading and have a good one.

Life update
Posted 4 years agoSo I'm getting kicked out of my step mother's house, I have until Dec 1 to be out the door.. So as of now I'm going to look into staying with a college mate of mine for the time being while I study, she was more than nice enough to let me stay. I'll be talking with her landlord soon enough, we got a meeting set up for next Wednesday, so we'll see if we can come up with some form of arrangement. So for the folks who commissioned me, or plan on commissioning me, I'm really sorry to bring this news to you all, I will be very slow with work and other art. On a brighter note, I'll have my own pad to call my own for a bit soon, so it isn't all too bad, but I will miss my father.. Yes, I know it's odd for me to say, but some of the peeps here kind of know my relationship with him isn't too nice... We had a lot of clashes, and fights, but even then I still loved him because I remember... I remember all the fun things we used to do when I was a kid and it hurts a lot more harder now.. In fact I've been crying about it for quite a while now.. I at least want one hug, a long and meaningful one from him before I go.. Although sadly I don't have much evidence on this, but as of now this person is 18. And the dude (boss) is 16 as of writing this. After this from what I recall he left, and was black listed from said server due to that, either way, what he did was messed up. Now I will not encourage people to go after this dude, please don't I don't to give the fucker another reason too add me when I already made it clear that I want nothing to do with him. He broke my trust and honestly, all I want is for him to realize that what he did was kiiiinda lowkey messed up. Anyways, I'll be attending as a regular guest, sadly I won't have my badges, since during planning on meeting up with some friends, we kinda had a mishap in communication. Plus didn't have enough time to print and laminate them.. But all is solved now thank goodness. So how to find me if you are going to Super con as well?:-Goth clothes. Posted 4 years agoSo for those whom kept up with me, I'm going to be slow on comms and other projects due to me starting college tomarrow, so any people who plan or are discussing plans for a commission slot placement, they will be on pause until I know what I'm working with.
I may have more or less time as I used to when I was tending for my mother before she passed. So this is a HUGE adjustment and I'm not really a morning person so please be patient with me. I'm also going to be working on my mental health as well so yeah. I've been having a rather rough weekend, and even before it was a rocky road. I hope you guys understand and I thank you guys for the support.
None of this would happen if I wasn't able to pay off the classes because of you helping me out so thanks guys I really mean it, I also wanna thank those who had put up with my rants and raves. Who ever put up with my meltdowns/shutdowns etc. I just wanna say thank you for being there for me! ❤

I put that in quotes because I don't think they're interesting but maybe a slight throat chuckle but that's basically it. But all right.
The story basically takes place a few years ago, I think I was around 19 at that point. So essentially my mother and I were basically on the computer looking for some stuff to get from Amazon or whatever. Because I wanted to get some Legend of Zelda merchandise because I'm a Legend of Zelda fanatic.
So out-of-the-blue my mother gets a call from one of those telemarketers. Know you would think that they would just hang up and be done with whatever it is that they're trying to do because bad marketing schemes right? Nope. Essentially they were talking and then my mother decided or she thought she hung up on them. Me being the child has more on that I him ended up mocking her because she had a very condescending tone of voice like one of those angsty teenagers.
What did I do exactly? I just started making a bunch of random noise, I don't remember what I did but I do remember laughing my ass off about it and my mother was as well and then this lady had the audacity to get snappy-
"eXcUsE mE?!?!"
Was all I heard from the other line, and I laughed even harder because we thought initially we hung up on her and my mother was laughing too so we just hung up on her bitching ass. She said some other things to which I can't stay here. But they were kind of vicious.
I don't know why I thought it was because we caught up to the marketing scheme because you know how telemarketers can sometimes be scam numbers right? So we basically caught her and she grew impatient and snapped! Lmao!
I know not exactly funny for first story time, I want to do this more often, since I guess I do like sharing in real life stories every once in awhile.

Posted 4 years agoSo I'm happy to announce that I got accepted into college! I'll be majoring in graphic design and commercial art! I'll still be working on comms as a side job, but my main focus will be school work, though art will still exist, just wanted to get that off my chest so yee.. I'm happy. :D One slot left! Posted 4 years agoSo the day before I was running my PC just fine and suddenly the next day it just decides to disconnected self completely. All the other laptops in the house are connected to the Wi-Fi as well as my own phone. I tried restarting my PC, nothing. I tried adjusting a few things. Nothing. I even tried the old-fashioned unplug the router and put the plug back in after 2 minutes. Still nothing.
Even when I click on the offline Globe it doesn't even show the available connections. It shows the options and airplane mode which I can't even activate anyways. Not that I want to, it just wouldn't really let me.
I'm obviously going to fix this at some point, I called text support yesterday explaining the situation, I even went over the steps over the call and surprisingly enough that didn't work. I might have to get it diagnosed in person soon enough. Hopefully it's nothing too serious but in the meantime I will be putting commissions on pause until further notice. So my apologies. But anyways it's some of you guys know how to actually work with something like this some tips can be useful. I have to get a USB driver once I get back too.
Update as of 7:23 pm est: Well I had a friend of mine check it out and it turns out that the drivers didn't update automatically. So we took it somewhere to get it fixed but rest assured I should get my PC back by either tomorrow or the day after. So as of now I'm probably going to be taking it easy since it is the weekend. Plus my neck kind of needs a rest as well, anyways that's about it for now. I will probably just resume commission work around next week? We shall see indeed.

Posted 4 years agoMiriam Husein: 1971-2021... She was a wonderful, talented, amazing and magnificent woman.. But most importantly the best mom... I know she was the best mom imo... I'm really gonna miss her... She has done so much for me and I'm never gonna forget the fun times and sad times, but overall, I will be okay, knowing that you're no longer in pain or suffering... I will miss all the times you took me to the mall, theatre, shops, the fair, summer/winter camp, even Starbucks... On a golf cart we would often get away without being caught, her cussing out a cop in Arabic heh.. But yeah, I will forever miss you.. Thank you for always being there, for comforting me, helping me through tough times, you may rest in peace knowing that we're gonna be fine.. Father may need help but I can manage.. Rest in peace.. Mother..

However I'm gonna be taking a short break before returning to normal comms, now I'm not closed, I am open again, however with other stuff going on irl, it's taking a bit for me to get back with a lot of people who plans or paid ahead of time.. I will be using this for both refs btw, rn I'm gonna take a small break, due to stress at home, and having some anxiety troubles, but I will be fine soon. By next Monday I will get back to work.

Update regarding my commisison status.
Posted 5 years agoIn terms of my commission status, I'm going to be closing my cue for just a little bit, mostly because I have a list that I need to manage. The commisisons that I had are people who paid before hand, So for now I'm going to be closing just to take care of my list or what's basically left of it. Because I've had so many people ask me if my commissions are open for the past few days and, I feel bad saying that they're not open even though I'm currently working on the ones that people had paid for prior. If anything I'll give more updates to let you know when my cue is all cleared up.
