I have been away for a very long time *sad*

Things happened, shit happened, and here we are, we survived!!!!

The long story short is that I would love to return to my passion and hobby of art! I'm starting to get some time to actually work on my art once again.
I have been doing art on a very small scale but I want to return to creating on a weekly basis.

Well recently I have been doing some more traditional anime pics. I really havent done any non-furry work for a while and I feel like taking a break. I'm not sure if I will post them on here but I may.
Is there any interet in anime girls? soft core, boobies out pics?
I've not realy finished them but I like to do the odd sketch here and there, you know?

How is summer going? Is it hot where you are? Do you like it?
Mine is going well. It was raining for the last little while but the sun is finally here!! Hope I get a chance to do some summer arts! Woooooo

By Chance my scooter was spotted in some guys yard by a random and who called the police.
The police had it towed and I was informed. I got the scooter and it's not in bad shape. My stuff was still inside and the locks were fine.

I'm am very happy to have it back but still so pissed that you work hard to get something and then some asshole comes around and just takes it. seriously, wtf?
Then you report it as stolen and they leave it to sit in the tow yard for a while (before informing me) which I HAVE TO PAY FOR!
insurance doesn't cover any of this.... What a joke! So yes, I got it back with a few minor scratches but not only am I inconvenienced, I am stuck with a bill I really didn't need.
*sigh.

STOLEN PLEASE HELP!/SHARE I use this little guy to get around town and GO TO WORK!! If you have any info, please let me know pics anything. It was stolen sometime between 10pm June 5th and 11am June 6th from East Vancouver

Please help! if you have any details! I am at a total loss without it.

Soo busy lately with just everything!!
Art work, work, friends, family and just boom no time!
This time of year is always busy though, I have several birthdays that come up with family and friends and it seems like my weekends get packed until about August D:

I'm slowly getting all my stuff finished up after the VF fiasco. I've also got some cool art trades I want to finish, one of them is a full on traditional piece full BG, colour and all that Jazz. Sadly I have been waiting for a certain few colours to arrive at the store before I can continue with this project.

So, yup, thats about it for now.

Other then that I've got a Patreon question for you guys.

So I see a lot of people using this and I somehow feel it is being abused.
I was thinking that maybe if people wanted to pledge$x per month I could send people Art cards, or small prints, large prints for large donations etc... like real physical items. What do you think about that? I call them donations because I would like to use the extra money (after printing and shipping fees) to help out a few people I know. For example, I helped a friend with her Childrens hospital fundraiser, I have also contributed to Animal shelter, cancer support, and I know a person right now that could really use a helping hand....

[b]Also what about fees?[/b] I know there is a 4% fee for credit cards etc, but I didnt find much info about other fee's. Also paypal and square offer subs and similar things. I was thinking it could be some kind of image that was limited to subscribers only. Everyone would see it online etc (im not going to hide images from non-paying subscribers) but only subscribers would get signed prints.

I feel that if I actually give you something it is worth your time. I'm not a fan of people using patreon as a way to get "money for nothing and chick for free"

This months Crit night was cancelled due to almost zero interest this time around
I am not sure what happened after have last years crit night run very successfully imo. I really enjoyed it and I learnt a lot. I gues everyone was just super busy and thats ok.
I am really hoping that the next Crit night has my regular participants and more ~

Of course if it does not thats just one of those things. Thanks to everyone who participated and had a gander at my previous crit nights.

COMMISSION STATUS
I currently have a few commissions from Vancoufur to work on so I will be doing those first.
After that there are about 6 people on my waiting list who I will be addressing (thank you for your patience)

WEBSITE
If you have been to my website lately you will see that I have also removed my price list for the time which I am closed. I am not only CLOSED for commission atm but I would like to update my price list along with my website. The prices for the most part, will remain static. There will be a few modifications but mainly it is to create a more customer friendly price list for highly custom images.
As you all know I don't charge an hourly rate I charge based off hose many details/effort is needed. I have a very specific math formula that I have been using for years and I will be sticking to it.

Another major update to my website will be the merchandise page. I have a lot of fantastic posters and prints just waiting for a new home.
Of course there are a few originals around if thats what you are after. You all know how much I love my pencils.

4x6 Prints are $5 (3 for $10)
8x10 Prints are $15 (2 for $25)
12x18/11x17 posters are $7
Laminated tags are $2 (3 for $5)

Generally shipping is $5-$10 depending on your area and how fast you want to receive it
Currently I have NEVER had an issue using standard mail with Canada Post. Never has one been damaged, bent, folded, lost or returned to me. So if you want to save a few bucks, regular post should do it.


VANCOUFUR STUFF

Artist Alley at Vancoufur was pretty slow and I was pretty disappointed that the artists sitting near me left after a very short period of time.
There were also way too many empty tables which really sucked in general. x.x
In the end I was there only for Sat, on Sun I wandered about debating and decided I had something I would rather do then sit at a table all day.
I also went to attempt to visit the " Art Jam" FAIL! Sadly the Art Jam was upstairs and had no elevator which could get me to that room. I had my large tub I was toting around with my posters, prints and other art materials in it with me. Considering that I was wearing 5" heels and the tub wasn't exactly light weight, I could not go up the stairs.
There was also the issue of leaving my kart un attended while I went up the stairs, then leaving my materials UN-attended while I went for the kart so I didn't get to go at all *sadface*
That was a bummer.
Overall I am very thankful to the lovely artists/dealers that I had great conversations with. I hope to see some of them again, perhaps meeting up or at another con.
