My family reunion is coming up this Saturday and I really need to raise funds to get to it. I haven't seen my whole family for almost 10 years! I don't have a working car, so I'll have to take the bus to get to the reunion and back home (which is really expensive). I need to raise at least $50 for the trip.

I've been going through tough times, lately, especially psychological problems. Depression, being the main issue. As some people know, I consider myself to be "bi-gender." Which is basically being physically one gender, but have the mind set of both genders. Sometime, it's one or the other, and other times it's both at once.

With that being said, I've been noticing lately that when I'm in my male mood, I've been happy and nearly my old self. But when I go back to my female mood, I become depressed and sensitive about everything. Sure, my guy side can be a bit bittersweet, but that's easier to deal with, since lately my female side has been having a lot of suicidal thoughts lately. >.< (Please note: no, I do not have a split personality, these are just the different sides of me.) So for me to kill off my female side and go fully male has become more and more appealing.. It's still something to consider..

Especially since I will most likely not have children, even though I do want them.. My mate recently came out as not seeming as eager to having them, as I am. Which, also, put me into a bit of a depression, being that I've always wanted little ones of my own.. I have always thought that, if I'm unable to conceive, then might as well be a male, since I have been raised to be male by my father.

Meh.. Just late night thoughts..

It's about that time again for the tents to pop up and for the firewood to crackle! This year's first camp-out will be held at the same place as last year's ("Man Made", aka a campsite/watering hole along the Knik River.) It starts on May the 29th at 6PM and ends on the 31st.

What to bring:
Tents
Extra clothes (swim clothes, as well, if you want to brave the water and go swimming.)
Toiletries
Sleeping bags/blankets/pillows
And what ever food/snacks/drinks that you may want to drink.
(Note: There are going to be underaged furs at this event, so it's a NON-ALCOHOL event. PLEASE RESPECT THAT!!)

Figure I'd make this a non-fursuiting event, since there's not really that many fursuiters.. Well unless people want it, then I can try ask if it's allowed..

So this is going to be held at the Center Bowl off of Minnesota on the 11th of April, starting at 7PM. For neon bowling (since people been telling me to go with neon,) it's $20 per lane/per hour and shoe rental is $4.25. Depending on how many people show up, we'll probably end up getting 1-2 lanes. I'll be buying a lane, and if anyone else wants to pitch in, that would be fantastic. :3

I am mainly interested in doing partial suits (or lower,) so that way I can jam them out before the convention. LA SAMMEH!! I'm already all registered and what not. :3 I'm so excited, I haven't been to a furry convention for three years.

So to help with costs, I'll be opening fursuit commissions for partials only (since they're faster to make.) :3 I'm hoping to get at least 3-4 commissions, since that would pretty much pay for the convention.

A con for a female that has mostly male friends:

The majority of the time, they wont be considerate enough to invite said female to go do "guy things," even though said female considers herself to be "one of the guys."

And this is why I hate being the gender that I am and feel like shit right now..

Maybe I should just throw away all my female clothes, buy some more chest binders and male clothes, cut my hair short again, and just be a guy.

I don't know.. Maybe the real problem isn't my gender, but right now, that's what it sure as hell feels like. I'm just depressed as fuck, now. <v.v>

So it looks like I'll be going to both Califur and Rainfurriest next year. :3

My original plan was to go to Furry Fiesta as well, but due to my con-buddy not having fundings at the moment, that's a no go.

I'll check out other furry conventions that I'll might be able to go to. :3

I should have made this event sooner, but stuff happens. So there's going to be tents, campfire, camping food, rock skipping, s'mores, and possibly swimming if the water isn't too cold. X3 This is a three day event, starting on Friday, August 1st at 4PM, and ending Sunday, August 3rd at 2PM. Held at "Man-Made."

How to get to this place: Coming from Anchorage side- Take the Glenn Highway. Take the exit onto Old Glen. Turn right and drive straight. Drive straight pass the old railroad bridge, continuing onto Kink Road. After you see a "work zone" sign on the left, take the left turn that's right after it. Coming from the Valley side: Pretty much the same as Anchorage, except for when you get to Old Glen, you turn left.

I'll be scheduling a time for a "caravan" type deal for those drivers who would rather follow me, than test their luck on finding the place. X3

Saturday July 5th, at 2:30PM. Held at Russian Jack Springs Park in Anchorage.

Potluck style! Say what you're bringing so that others know what to bring. If you have any sports equipment, such as footballs, soccer balls, etc, then feel free to bring them! And yes, this is a fursuit-friendly event.

This event will be held til when the majority starts leaving. If the weather turns crap, then it will be rescheduled for the Saturday after. If rides are needed, there can be arrangements made.

Ok so I've moved this event to a later date, due to recent events. Was going to move it to the 13th, but I almost forgot about the music festival. >.< Still all the same info. :3

The event is going to be fursuit bowling (yes fursuits were already Ok'd by the management there) and anyone is more than welcomed to join, even if the don't have suits. It's going to be held at Norh Bowl in Wasilla, which is located on the Palmer-Wasilla highway. It's on the 26th of this month from 5pm to 9pm. It's $22 per lane, but we'll have that covered (unless people want to pitch in,) so it will cost $3.50 per person, shoes included.

Ok so that after I'm done with my V.3 of my personal suit, I figured I would want to start sculpting a fursuit head (most likely going to start with a short muzzled canine at first,) so that way I can make a cast and just go off of there. That way I can have a disquinished look to all of the future fursuits that I shall create. :3 I'm still going to go with the toony/semi-realistic look, so this is going to be interesting. All input and advice is more than welcome! ^.^

March 28th, there is a march in Palmer from the ice rink to the train station to help premier and protest against the epidemic of domestic violence, sexual assault, and child sexual abuse in Alaska. Together, we are sending messages of hope and healing to the many who have suffered from these crimes.

We figured we can make this a furry event and anyone who has a fursuit, or costume, or even just yourself can join us in the march. We have contacted the group that's hosting this event, and they replied that they would love to have us attend.
