General | Posted 12 years agoi don't know if im just destined to keep struggling, or if i just have the worst luck, but it feels like i have to keep turning to this community to bail my sorry ass out of my monetary issues.
right now i have absolutely no money save for a little over 20$ and i need a little help just to buy some groceries for the next few days until my mom can get her paycheck on monday
i never ask for much when it comes to... begging... but i just need a little bit of money to help keep us going until then. 50$ would be more than enough to get me through the rest of the week and the weekend.. right now i am still on my job hunt.. i just turned in some job applications yesterday so hopefully i hear back from them soon about any potential openings..

Finally Taking Commissions
General | Posted 12 years agoYea. Though my skills in the land of drawing is limited, I have decided to open my doors for commissions. not only is it good practice, but I am so strapped for cash that I have to do something or risk having eviction stamped on my head.
right now I am only opening 5 slots. it seems like a decent size, plus it gives me a chance to test the water and see how well I can complete these drawings

all my drawings will be in traditional format with them being scanned into my computer.
Also I need to point out that I NEED references and PLEASE no overly complex characters with ridiculously overdetailed characters.
visual references work best, but I CAN take a stab at drawing a picture based on a written bio, as long as it's nice and detail.
two bio examples. one good one bad.
Bad:
my character is a wolf with black fur and red hair that curls a little.
good:
my Fursona is a wolf with black fur and crimson hair that is a bit on the short side. It starts a bit spiky up front ont he forehead, with some of the hair hanging in front of his eyes and stretches back behind his ears to the base of his neck.
at the back of his hair it tends to curl a little.
please try to give me a Good written bio to work off of because if you give me a bad bio I might end up drawing something completely different than what you envisioned.
okay now for pricing. I hope these prices are fair, I am trying not to charge too much, but at the same time I am trying to charge enough to actually make a profit and be able to pay my bills.

General | Posted 12 years agocome on the ONE time I really want to spend the night outside and snap some shots of the super moon, she can't even get the fucking weather right.
while quite a few people I know managed to get a nice glimpse of the luminous full moon last night I was trapped indoors by the damn rain and got not even a peek at that lustrous glowing beauty.
so any plans for some awesome photos are completely scrapped until the next super moon and who knows when that will be. *sigh* just.. fuck you mother nature.

Visual Novel Game and Story Writing
General | Posted 12 years agoit's been a hectic week for me. Last Thursday my cat went tot he hospital with stones in his urethra, and I am slowly being sunk under a huge bill unless I can get a job, but I digress away from the topic of this journal.
As my The World of Anthros series has grown and become more popular, I've been excited to see I have gained fans all over the place, and managed to grab the attention of a couple very talented artists as well, including a certain
Bara-Diction who actually got into the series after I commissioned a picture for it.
after chatting with him for a while, he actually talked about the possibility of it becoming a visual novel game or a comic. both ideas are actually quite good.
both would appeal to people who are not huge fans of sitting and reading a book... well a conventional book anyways.
I think the ideas have quite a bit of merit, and so I am turning to you guys to see what you think. if I should turn the story into a comic or a visual novel game
with the idea for either set firmly in place I would be looking out into the community to help me with such a big project.
if you can't tell from the few pieces of my own artwork I have uploaded, I don't have the skills to undertake such huge projects on my own. While I am improving, it could be a couple years before I'd have the skills to even try to work on this.
this is why I am hoping I am able to grab the attention of some artists who would like to lend a hand, in particular

General | Posted 12 years agoWhen I woke up yesterday.... I hadn't imagined I would find my cat laying in the floor with a bleeding Urethra, I didn't expect to have to take him to the hospital, or to be told he could die.
and I certainly didn't know I'd have to get crushed beneath a 1500$ Bill when my family can barely pay the bills now.
the point is.. and... as much as it hurts me to ask because I've never particularly liked the idea of being considered a charity case, hence why I would never ask for money even when I have struggled desperately... but with this new bill looming over my head, I'm almost certain it's going to be the end for my family.
I can't get a job ( and god knows I've been trying for 3 years now with no luck) and the job my mom has isn't enough to pay the bills, buy food and clothing, paying for insurance and now have this massive bill stacked on top of it.
I've tried my best to support her, giving all money I could spare to help buy groceries and clothes, and I even helped pay the overdue rent, but I don't have any cash left... and as much as it pains me to ask... I need help.. I want to be able to help ease the financial burden if only a little while I stalk restaurant, after restaurant, store after store, looking for a job.

General | Posted 12 years agoI just had one of the worst awakenings ever. I woke up this morning to fin my cat super sick..... oh god... he has stones in his ureathra and... and well it's going to take any where between 1000 to 2000$ possibly more, but I can't even afford to shell out for commissions as cheap as 15-20 dollars. I don't know how im going to pay for this... God I can't even think of asking others for help... I've never liked pleading for money... and I've never been good at just accepting charity,

Gallant. who is doing a charity and a big whopper of a 48 marathon. I am going to be staying up for that 48 hours as well, though id on't know if I have the mental capacity to run a livestream for 2 days straight.
so I will be coming on for a few hours on both day, though you'll probably notice a significant change in my energy by the end of the second day.
